Squid looks down, "I've been thinking and your not going to see me much often. I really don't have enough spirit to get up in the morning sometimes. I get that thought, if we're all going to die someday what does it matter if we do anything. I'm sorry guys. You've all been awesome the short time I've been here." Squid looks up tears in her eyes, she manages to smile, "Bye."

"I will catch you Kira,"

"Squid... please stay. Please? If we all are going to die one day, might as well live it to the fullest, as it may come at any moment. Right now, any one of us could. I would rather not think that way." L said, frowning. "But no need to be pessimistic! Squid!" L turned the other direction.
"Yes, I have been listening to Tamaki... he seems to be a hopeless idiot, but highly experienced with these kind of things."

"You have a point. I have been really down lately. My mother is wanting me to take on more school activities and wants me to stop staying in my room all the time. She wants me to hangout with more girls and less boys, but I honestly don't like many girls. I'm stuck, I don't know what to do."

"I will catch you Kira,"

L chuckled and gestured across the room, towards the doors leading to the other hosts rooms. "Isn't it obvious? Stay with the Host Club. Many young ladies such as yourself stay here, so tell your mother that. I would hate for a beautiful lady like you to waste away.... such as the rest of you,"

L smiled at Izumi and her companions, and Seth. "Welcome. Don't worry, miss, I'll try not to steal any hearts. Speaking of which, did Kyouya ever order those cases of Strawberry Cake? We are nearly out.."

He walked towards the storage area, and returned with the remaining pieces of cake. He glanced awkwardly towards the doomsinger, and waved.
