I use a few things.
Digital: Paint.Net, TwistedBrush(rarely now), and also am trying out SAI((help me?))...also will be getting my first tablet this August. Any suggestions for one, perferably below/around $100?
Traditional: Mech Pencil, Pens(for quick sketchs of an idea, and for outlines), and Colored Pencils.
I want to try out Prisma/Copic makers one day. What would you guys suggest?

Traditional: I draw with a .5 mechanical pencil, line it with a .03 or .01 Copic multi-liner, and fill in large black areas with a Sakura Micron black brush pen. I color with Prismacolor colored pencils, cheap watercolors, and a mixture of Copic Sketch markers and Prismacolor markers.
Digital: Most times, I sketch it out first, and then do the rest on the computer (Wacom Intuos 4), but other times, I do it all on the computer at once. Lol.
I draw everything in Easy Paint Tool SAI, and then use filters and animation in Photoshop CS4. c: I do all of my overlaying type textures in SAI though. : D

I basically use what I have or could find. Pencil, Pen, markers, cheap paper, napkins, newspaper.......eh, whatever is convenient or available. I'm dirt poor, so I live with what I've got.
I'd love to start using art programs, tablets...blah blah blah, (If I even know they are) I'm just a traditionalist. I work with oils, but work with acrylics when convenient. I do not always draw. I used to, and sad that I cannot get into that rhythm that I was in when younger, but now I currently call myself a sculptor. I work with clay, glazes, washes (all that other jazz).
I get bored easily so my interest in arts are currently dabbling in different mediums. It's good to get your hands dirty sometimes and sculpting is very relaxing....only till you're stuck and you want to roll the darn thing into a ball and toss it at someone. xd

Whatever I get my hands on 8D
My freebies are drawn with fibracolor markers (100 colors... except for the black, one of the blues, and one of the pinks that dried out... so... 97 colors ^^;; ) Had these guys since I was like.. 10 and drawing people with perfectly spherical heads.
Shop stuff is done with either the chung hua drawing pencils my aunt got me in china (traditional) or done in paint shop pro with my laptop touch pad .____. I blame my crappy CG coloring on this fact.
Whenever I draw myself I use my Faber-Castell "6 PITT shades of grey" artist pens. which doesn't work out so well when I have colorful avatars ^^;;

@ wmiinkdeys : Can we see some examples of your sculptures : D??? I'd really like to see that!!!
@Inferno: Have you always stuck with fibracolor markers or have you ever tried other brands? I've personnaly only tried the prisma markers cause my art teacher suggested them, but I'm curious to how well the fibracolor markers are as well 3nodding

ummm... Fibracolors are basically a (tiny) step up from crayola markers XD they work nothing like prismacolors but it was like... $30 for the box of 100 as opposed to ... $8 each for prismacolors? Its why I use them for the freebies I do at 2 am when I'm too zonked out to draw very well.
I'm honestly a lot more comfortable with paint than with markers, so if I ever do want to do a serious colored piece, it'd probably be on canvas with acrylics.
