Our jazz band was cleaning out the back of the Band Room when they found something that no one would guess that was there.
old food from competition...EWWWWWWW.
My friend Ben found it ( it was old potatoes)
He nearly passed out because of the smell and his reaction?
"Oh GOD IT SMELLS LIKE DIRTY BABY DIAPERS!"

If our band room was cleaned out (which I seriously doubt would ever happen) you'd find Carl's Jr ketchup packets, monkey and penguin dolls with the stuffing taken out, lots of toy dinosaurs, lots of shoes, Hot Wheels playsets, Garfield posters, a pink sweater, an empty water bottle collection, homemade trumpet mutes, and some Paper Plate awards.

At our clean-up over the summer, we found a mouse in the percussion room. I think it was in one of the drums. And it was dead. o.o

I guess my bandroom was pretty normal. We found reeds, oil, grease, moldy socks, old old music, pics from the first band at the school, empty trumpet cases, instruments we didn't know the band owned, candy wrappers, and pencils on the top shelf of the trophy/instrument shelves.

I don't know what we will find in my band room if we cleaned it out but it smells. I have found so far a very moldy sax mouth piece (I did not touch it) And I found my music from like three years ago. razz This thread is making me wonder about all the things lurking in the band room ninja

We were clearing out our band room for it to be demolished to make way for the new one that's coming. We found all kinds of things. Underwear, socks, shoes, shirts, pants, old food, new food, rotting paper, water thermoses, toys, piles of sheet music, empty cans, and a couple dead mice. Once there was a live possum in the instrument/storage room for most of the day. It was cute.

we found lots of sports equipment (basket balls, baseballs, etc.), food (didn't smell too nice), and a piece of a tree trunk. It was pretty big too.

none of these are as bad as the moldy coffee maker in the Arts supply closet~like art music and band~
it has been there for like 5+ years~Brother told me~
it is so gross
it is the art teachers and i keep telling him but he is senile

Well, I had the opportunity to clean the percussion section, and the rest of the band room....we found VERY strange things such as:
~Whale condoms (Band Ponchos)
~Marching Shoes
~Pimp halloween costume
~Shirts, Pants, Shorts, and ....various other articles of clothing 0.o
~THE ABOMINATION - its a trombone that was used for...*cough* umm... deeds that i'd rather not talk about...until we re-found it: it was considered legend/myth because no one had seen it for a long time...
~A check for $1 in the Drum Room....

Our band room is pretty tidy......there's various coffee stains on the floor, and before they changed the roof there was a blood stain on the roof from when somebody got stabbed in the shoulder by a baton sweatdrop yeah..... in the instrument room, there is
-various recepies(the foods room is right beside the band room)
-a box of bobby pins (lock picking? BD has an entire cupboard of pop)
-music
-pencils
-tupperware
-possibly a used condom
-ancient instruments
-more ancient mouthpieces
-bottles of scope and listerine

on girl had an old milk carton in her locker for all of marching season. we put up a cation sign that said "Cation: This Is (girls name)'s Locker. BEWARE
our band room is clean pretty much. the percussion and band rooms are together. the flag hallway is the gym lobby, which is clean.
im interested to see the practice rooms..... xp

we have cabinets for each section.i swear..i have an entire outfit in the flute cabinet.iknow i have like.3 pairs of socks,pants,sweatpants,a shirt,and a sweatshirt and a pair of shoes.
when we cleaned the cabinets out i found a cupcake in there..it was ine..i had bitten it and put it on the top shelf on halloween.it was 7 months later when i found it.there was no mold,but it was hard as a rock.
and they cleaned out the uniform room last year and found the old uniforms last used in like..1999.they had cool sashes with our school logo on them.it made me sad they they were thrown out crying
but i scavanged around and stole like..4 sashes lol

Our BD said that he would give me extra credit if I cleaned out the band room, so I think I will. Any tips? Should I bring in the HazMat team?
Actually, it's not REALLY GROSS. Just sorta messy. Ok, really messy. Messy cubed.
