Honestly I had thought of brining Mat in but there would be major complications to that. For instance Mat got his greatest bit of magic from one of his thirteen personas (turned out they were actually the souls of warrior using his head like a bloody hotel) but if I brought him in he wouldn't have quite the magic that he used to. Reason: That persona is walking around this flippin place, i.e. he got his magic from Warren. Don't get me wrong he still has his other fighters to help him...not to mention the Karma Bullet (another fine reason why I shouldn't bring him in).
And god I wanna cuss like a sailor like I normally do but I can't cause of the bloody TOS and not being sure of how people will react.

Mat? as in your character? is that so? greatest magic, ok not that big a deal. thirteen personas? wow lol. oh wow, that's sucks and yet benefits him. ah i see. he's be quite something, however it's not like your munching. technically you've had past adventures to give you those skills, so to speak =P
LMAO Cuss like sailor? ahahaha i loved the way you said that, wow then i must praise you for restraining yourself. i give you permission to lecture like how i do, but be careful there are literally cry babies out there that i know of...*COugh* -AngelicRaven34- *COugh* well i'm sure he has his set of issues in his time of age, he's like what 15 i think i dunno. and as sympathetic and nice as i am capable of, i for one am not always going to have the patience for that. so let's try not to be so hard on the newbs/noobs. evne though there is something called "REAd" that they can do before they RP, i'm sure we can somehow...let certain people slide if they're willing to listen.

Bio: Thatch is a warrior and a mage of a lost race, unknown to the world. He escaped from the clutches of his planets destruction, and now hides on earth, Not much is know about him, except that he can fight and that his magic is strong. other than that, he is a mystery.

As long as we are showing off old characters. Character name: Mat Cauthon Race: Human Age: 18 Apperance: Weapon: Ashan'deri (see pic) Abilities: Spear Proficiency, Water Manipulation, Minor Shadow Manipulation, Karma Bullet Fighting Forms: Vorpal Spear Dance, Werepyre Transformation, The Roulette of 13, Beat Out. BIO: Born in the little backwoods town of the Two Rivers he led a fairly simple life. At a young age his mother passed away leaving only him, his dad, and his sister to live on their own. After a time he was taken from this home, eventually escaping his captors, and joining a group of mercenaries In his early years of travel he befriended a woman named Asurii and a man by the name of Lance Stone. These became two of his closest friends, the woman (Asurii) eventually calling him "near-brother". Also in his adventures he came across a woman named Kait Yslanaa. They started out as friends and after some difficulty they became a couple. To this day they have been married and live together in his town of birth. Note: We sorta continued a storyline and Mat has 2 boys to take care of. Kalas and Hircine.

MatCauthom I must put this out on record for the moment...Warren is more Sorceror 9/Warrior 1/Eldritch Knight 10. ((and to whoever got that please see me. We need to have a chat in pms)) Reading through the posts before I joined and found this one. WoOt Eldritch Knight! I'd have to say though, Wizard > Sorcerer. Wizard FTW! If you play with the PH2, a wizard can forgo the familiar in place of a special ability that changes depending on school specialization, and if you pick conjuration, you can teleport at will. Hence, my Eldritch Knight who was a teleporting master, and a little girl with a huge-a** scythe!

Hence, my Eldritch Knight who was a teleporting master, and a little girl with a huge-a** scythe! You did take a least one level of warrior right? Otherwise you A.) Wouldnt be able to use the Eldritch Knight, B.) Ate up a lot of feats. And you can say that Wizard > Sorcerer but I disagree. Wizard > Sorcerer at crafting. Reason: His ability to take a scroll and learn the spell thanks to his innate abilities. Making them one of the best people to enchant weapons. Sorcerer > Wizard at combat. While no doubt the wizard is decent at combat thanks to its huge repetoir of spells it A.) Still has to prepare them ahead of time or else it cant use them. B.) Has to have material components (you can eventually at epic levels get a feat that eschews material but only up to a cost of 1 g.) Which can get very hefty in price. While on the other hand a sorcerer can cast whatever they have as long as they have remaining spells per day making them much more versatile for combat. Not to mention they DO NOT need material components and can spend the money elsewhere as it is needed. Warren's main spells at low level were not attack spell but a cast of Mage Armor and Shield while using a longsword. He had a 20-22 armor class as a level 1 mage. And I have yet to see that ruling on School Specialization...though I have a few home brew rules about it. Are you in 3.5 or 4.0? As for weapon choice...whip hands down. Never have liked a scythe and I can range trip, disarm, and grapple so...

I'm playing with the 3.5 rules, I don't even know what prestige classes are in 4.0. I've sworn away 4.0 because they took my monk class out of the PHB...(Curse them...) My character was Wizard 5/ Fighter 5/ Eldriitch Knight 5 (game ended at 15). I say that Wizards are better than Sorcerers because they get more spellcasting power. Wizards get higher levels of spellcasting faster, scribe scroll lets you use spells that aren't prepared, and the bonus metamagic feats make your spells more powerful. I originally went sorcerer since I disliked the idea of having to prepare spells beforehand, but the benefit is that you get to know more spells than a sorcerer. A sorcerer might be better prepared for a surprise attack, but if you know what's coming beforehand, a wizard can be much more helpful. School specialization can make your spells more deadly and the substitute abilities in the PH2 give you an edge that makes up for having to prepare spells by giving you abilities that you can use as swift actions. But, I also happen to know that the whole bloodline feat thing that sorcerers can take is pretty cool, too, though I don't know much about it. And in my opinion, pathfinder sorcerers kick so much a**...so I'll take back my statement
My character was a wizard for a specific reason. Because of backstory elements (I'm a heavy RPer and wrote a 30 pg back story prior to our game) my character was supposed to be completely useless in the very beginning. Starting at lv 3, I found that difficult to pull off as a sorcerer, so I decided to make her a wizard without a spellbook or weapon. It was hilarious when I couldn't beat a CR1/4 spider by myself as a lv 3. But when I stopped being a joke character, Invisibility, Teleport, and my teleporting special ability became my bread and butter spells. And scythes have crazy critical damage with their x4.
...anyway, I feel like I'm cluttering this up with too much D&D talk...so I'll be quiet now...

Of course that is assuming you ever critical with a scythe. I won't even get into True Flame, Cold Fang, and Hyruk. In 4.0 phb 2 they gave us the monk class back. And the wizard gets higher level spell a level faster so I really didn't seem to matter much at all. I never seemed to need scribe scroll as a wizard because I got craft rod so quickly...course I could get it quick as a sorc too.
And if you feel this is cluttering up the OOC you can always PM me. I love talking with other COMPETENT players at D&D (not going into detail on that one)
