Zero flew down landing in front of Renais a pair of leathery black wings emerging from his back his eyes glowing red the onlookers spotted him and backed away for a moment at the sight of him but soon began a slow advance which lasted only a few short moments before Cypren burst forth from behind them ripping out the throat of a man and pouncing on another in a second the croud began to panic having never faced true demons before Zero turned to renais "I believe this is your chance to run"

Renais nearly gasped at the figure that had suddenly landed in front of him. A cerberus lunged forward and ripped the throat out of a mans neck. "I believe this is your change to run" the figure said. "This is not how things should have aspired, these people have done nothing wrong. Their lives should not have been needlessly endangered..." Renais said to the figure, but decided to heed his advice. Renais turned and made his escape into the forest, without knowing it, taking the same path as the woman who had been banished...

She swung the door open to her hut quickly summoning the strength to have magic quicken her packing, she place most her necessities into her saddle bags, the rest left on her person, taking her falcon glove, she told her falcon quietly, "We must leave, we've been disgraced," She flew out the door, her mount stomped the ground lightly, as she placed the saddle on him. She mounted him, and was about to leave when she saw the stranger, Renais stumble from the forest.

Renais continued to run, ignoring the screams of the elven villagers. "Who... What was that thing that saved me?" Renais thought, reflecting back upon the black being who had swept in front of him. Renais neared a clearing, but accidently tipped himself on a fallen log, but regained his balance as he exited the forest. The sun was overhead, and Renais cringed as the suns rays shone against his exposed flesh. He flipped his cowl back onto his head and pulled his hands back into his robes. Renais had a dislike for light although it rarely caused a burn on his flesh. This habit had probably been spawned from his mothers side of the family, who had been a Drowen High Priestess. She had spent countless years in the underdark, performing numerous rituals such as fasting, sleep deprivation, and sacrifice. Renais swiveled his head from side to side, taking in his surroundings. It didn't take him long to notice the woman whom had recently been exiled from her village. Renais questioned her loyalties, as she had tried to kill him, but Renais believed that the order may have come from the man whom had just exiled her. Renais sent his hand toward the hilt of his sword. It never hurt to be careful...

Kethsar saw suspcions in his gaze, and drew her head down in shame. She'd never wanted to hurt him, nor did she... but she would not expect anything but what she saw now. Steering her mare away, she pushed it into a trot, then a gallop, blowing dirt in her wake.

Renais loosened his grip on his sword as the woman turned and began to gallop away on here steed. Renais looked back at the forest, then into the expansive plains of Relta. "This woman has no idea what kinds of trouble will befall her if she rides into the open plains alone" he whispered to himself, his thoughts turning toward the wild dragons that roamed the plains in search of animals to feed their hunger. The woman may have been a great warrior within the forest of Kotirai where her senses were unnaturally acute, but in the plains of Relta these attributes were lessened to a much weaker state. This is not to say that they are weak, but that their "enhanced" state weakens the further they stray from the forest. Renais took a few steps into the plains, then stopped, hesitant at a memory that had just awakened within his mind. "I hereby exile you, Renais, from Relta" the voice was saying. "No, thats not what happened, it was only Sulmtar" Renais thought. "Are you sure about that?" the voice replied sarcastically. Renais was silent for a moment, trying to remember what had happened all those days ago, but a dark cloud fogged his memory, rendering him unable to recall the memory correctly. He looked up and saw that the woman was gone. "She won't get far" he thought, "The river that divides the two countries should falter her for some time as no horse can wade through such a violent river." Renais walked into the great plains, then began to move as fast as his elven legs would carry him, heading in the direction the woman had rode off in...

She rode till the sun was setting. Then, Kethsar found a small clearing, and warded it quickly, 4 points to make a meager shelter. She was still tired from her ordeal with Grave. She layed her cot down, and made a small fire with dry wood as to make no smoke. eating some smoked meat and cheese she went to bed with the sky, at sundown.
The Next morning, the mechical movements of packing she didn't hear the growl eminating in the trees surrounding her. as soon as it was all packed and away, did she fully became aware of what had happened as a wolf stepped out into the clearing, Dusar within his clenched jaws. The sight of his mangled body, and Kethsar fell to her knees, her eyes already wet with tears. She watched the wolf eat the falcon, who went hunting with it's hood on. "Stupid!" She thought to herself, seeing her fault. The wolf continued further, and growls surrounded her, as if the pack disagreed with getting too close to a elf.
Although elves were said to be Kind to all animals, the ones in this area were often cruel to them, killing their young for their soft pelts, and poisoning the bears food. They often reminded Kethsar of Humans with their need for convience, she was happy to be rid of them, but their cruelty followed her even now. She stared into the wolf's eyes. Their Amber stare entranced her, and she reached a tenative hand towards the animal. He sniffed her, and smelt the elf, and if one last acknowledgement of instict, growled warningly, before allowing the woman to pet it. She reached, and pet him, but when she saw the birds bones left by her feet her hand began to tremble. She let go, and retracted from the animal, sitting a few feet from it. She starred at it, quietly consoling herself, and missing her falcon terribly.

Renais grew tired after running after the woman. His legs ached and begged for rest, and at sundown, he complied, setting up camp under the limbs of a great oak tree. He leaned against the tree, his body practically gelling into the groves of the trunk. Renais figured that the elf woman would wake up early, so he had to be one step ahead. As believed by his former master, there is a level of sleep deeper than that experienced by normal means. This "extra" level of sleep left the user feeling completely refreshed when they awoke. His master had dubbed it "The Cleansing Coma" because the body literally "shut down" except for the vital functions, which meant the user spent the time in the cleansing coma thinking. As he "slept" he brought his thoughts back to when he had awoken in the forest, tied up by a a magical rope. He wondered how he had gotten there, and wondered why someone left him for dead. He was sure it had something to do with the voice that had spoken to him earlier, claiming that he was exiled from Relta, but he could not be certain. Renais focused slightly, bringing his body back into motion and out of the cleansing coma. He looked around. It was dark, but his drowen instincts told him that dawn was rapidly approaching. He leaned forward, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, then looked ahead into the darkness. He could barely make out the trees around him in such darkness, but as his eyes adjusted to the darkness, also from his drowen heritage, he could see the trees as though it were day. He began to walk through the trees, following the feint trail left as the woman had made her way through the forest. Renais stopped as he heard something move, then heard it growl. A lone wolf crept into Renais's view. It stared at Renais, gnashing its teeth and its jaw dripping with saliva. Renais closed his eyes, then stared right back into the wolf's eyes, then let out a lo, shuddering laugh. The wolf's ears drooped and it leaned back, putting its tail between its legs, then fled from Renais. Such was the way many creatures responded to the Drow, and Renais chuckled at the thought of it. Renais only continued a few feet until he could make out a clearing. Renais peered through the trees and spotted the elf woman on the ground, sound asleep. Renais sat on the ground, his gaze drifting to his surroundings. "Odd that there would be a clearing in this forest of all places" he thought. Minutes passed, then the woman began to stir. Renais was invisible to the woman, but he needn't worry. A pack of wolves had begun to enclose upon her. One wolf allowed her to pet him for a brief moment before she retracted her hand. Renais continued to stare at the scene with almost a comic feeling about him. If the woman had caught a glimpse of him, she would only see his eyes, which would easily resemble any creature that dwelled in the night...

The Feeling of being watched crept over her, as she stood. She began saying calming noises to the horse, leading him through the forest, leaving the clearing, the wolves seemed to have left her, but she still felt like she was being followed, she turned around, and spotted the one wolf who trusted her, and sighed. She summoned it towards her, and it went willingly. The wolf nuzzled her leg, and Kethsar looked at the wolf confused. she continued to lead the horse, and was now accompainied by a strange wolf, "Well this party can't get any stranger," she said to the animals.

As zero walked through the forest he found himself wondering why he had bothered to help that man, why had he bothered? why not leave him to fend for himself as he would most? and why was he even still in this forest? the familiar presence he'd sensed was gone...... he tried to shake these thoughts but they kept returning to him until he found renais lying asleep against the tree, he soon decided.... he would follow the man for awhile to see if there was anything different about him. Zero's body naturally absorbed other forms of energy as a result of his innate shadow energy and because of this he was immune to variouse mortal weaknesses such as hunger thirst and tiredness, thus he was able remain standing his hand on cyprens left head while waiting for man to awake without needing to rest when the man awoke he signalled to cypren and the two began to silently follow him. Cypren almost growled at the sight of the wolf whom had approached renais and the woman whom the man seemed to be watching but another signal from Zero kept him silent. the two continued to follow Renais completely invisible thanks to the power of Cyprens left head without making a sound.

Kethsar felt rather stumped when she reached the River of Neklar, that devides Relta and Kotirai. It's rapids seemed to go for a long while. Finally, after a few days camped out near the river, her strength had returned to her, and she froze the entire River, allowing safe crossing for her and her horse. After Crossing, followed by her horse and her tag along the wolf, Chent, she unfroze it and continued on.

Renais neared the Neklar river, finally feeling that the woman had reached the end of her journey. He waited and watched for days, waiting for her to make her move. After a few days, she froze over the the great river, the water stopping in its path. Renais was impressed with the show of skill, as few mages could bend the great Neklar river to their will. However, this left another problem to Renais: How would he cross the mighty river? He pondered this as the woman unfroze the river, dashing his hopes of traveling across after she had left. He continued to think, his mind offering a plethora of ideas, all of which were dashed by various circumstances. His mind settled on one possible scenario, but he would have to wait until nightfall to successfully perform his technique...
