1daisy1 The Offender There are a lot of idea's going around saying that the world will either crash or start to fall on December 21. It all depends on what you want to know, there are many views on this: 1: Religious. 2: Economical 3: National 4: Other, which consists of small things all leading to man-kind destruction. Personally, I don't know many of what is being spoken about and Im curious too, I have heard this idea, but no one will talk to me about it. People have been saying stuff like this before and nothings happened.. When I was younger some man said that Ca was going to fall in the ocean... I was scared and my mom just held me when the time was suppose to and everything is was alright.. If it were the end of the world their wouldnt really be to much we could do about it.. It would happen..I think people use this theory to make people want to change or be afraid.. Well.. i heard somewhere that CA is actually supposed to break of from the U.S or something like that o_o

*looks at title of thread* I thought it was 'sposed to be the 21st..
But either way, I guess it depends on how you look at it.
Does it mean the end completely? Or the end of something in particualar?
Theres a lot of conspiracies and thoughts on it, with websites stating we will all die, others saying some will survive.
Sure it's the end of the Mayan calander, but I personally think it'll be just another day. Remember what happened when it turned 2000... nothing.
Also.. think timezones. I personally don't know much about them, but none of the countries will all be on the same time and date all at them exact same time, right?
So putting it in perspective is a random part of the world going to spontaniously combust and then a few hours later, another in a completely different area? Hmmmm...
Theres a lot to consider.. and this is why I think it will just pass as a normal day, like any other.

lolz...wel there zmany way,viewz or things u can say about this...or how it came about...sum ppl com up with equations....sumtimez they jus look @ it...it cood b religion and because sum1 has a supposed vesion of this then sum ppl will believe...it could b culture..even culture 4um the past...such as the aztec calender on how it predicts th@ the world will end on th@ specific date...it can lead bac to egyptians with symbolz of futreristic things/objects...all intertwines...i heard th@ since brack obama could b the anti christ and because he iz running now 4 years a term wouls leed to 2012 ...itt sayz it starts there...or jus plain out screwz every thing up...lolz..wel th@s not funny but w/e...lolz um....oh and its also possible like..mm..like whos 2 say what world will end...wil the anti christ end the world of h8....idk but dats may-b wat he want su 2 beleive...i personly will heer all opinions and jus observe it..its quite interesting 2 me and wel..it could happen..i meen right ow things arent 2 well in the u.s.a...and may-b these prophocies can b true....u can also look up the code of the first bible or w/e it waz...lolz ill explain th@ another time...lolzXD..c-ya! smile

Hmm sounds interesting, we'll just have to find out. I heard though that it was going to end in like 2 years (even scarier!) Hmm it makes you wonder what's going to happen that day when the time comes.

Jesus Christ...2012 is not going to be the end of the world. The Mayans never said that 2012 was the end of the world, it's just when the Mayan calendar ends. Geez, etching the next thousand years on to a stone calendar would make anyone bored...

Amen to that. No, my grandma said that she has heard so many times that the world is going to end. Anyways, how the ******** do you figure out that the world is going to end? Go to a random person and say "Hey, when do you think that world's going to end?" and then use their answer? I think that it's gay and that when the world ends, well I sure hope that we can have a comedic moment of the end of the world like in the video "End of Ze world"

Hmm.... well, I kind of think that people should just give the whole "world-ending" thing a rest, you know? They've been wrong every other time.
Besides, I don't really think it's something that can be predicted.. We're in a downward spiral with Global Warming, so it could be sometime soon.. But even with that, no one can really tell the exact date the world will blow up, or fall, or whatever.
People should just calm down and enjoy life while they still have it, not try to predict their doom..
(That's just my view on this... I'm not saying I'm right...)

Everyone calm down, its not the end of the world its were the mayan calender leaves off because it is the end of this age we are in the age of(i think) Pisces and on 2012 we are going into another age( i forgot what) ill post back with more accurate info later.

OK got the info, we are currently in the age of Pisces and on 2012 we will enter the age of Aquarius. done and done that's it, that's why the Mayan calender ended or showed a large transition happening on 2012, the world is NOT going to end lol wink

It's the end of the world as we know it. And I feel fine! biggrin
If the world ends on 2012 then the world will end just as I get out of high school. That would suck.
I think this is all going to be like what happened on Y2K. People will comit suicide, church crazies will run around with their bibles shouting god stuff. And some people will will act like its no big deal. Now this will either blow over and everyone will laugh about it afterwards, or we will all be dead. If we all die then we die. Nothing we can do about it. Only a fool worries about something he cannot change.

Well apparently 2012 is the end of the world but frankly i dont believe it i think they will be wrong and the only thing on 2012 that's goign to happen is school failed tests passed test kids cry kids laugh its going to be a normal day like all the others i have been through personally i think nothing will happen and that the world will not end and that the people who are saying that it will are Utterly wrong you cant predict IN ANY WAY! what is going to happen 4 years from now no one! (i am not going against religion or anything) but personally i think we are not going to get some sign or something that will say that in 2012 the world will end. i think the only way our world will end is by man himself sending off missiles atomic bombs etc etc and just reducing the world to a speck of dust from all of our own objects.
i think that whatever war item we create only equals our own death what we create someone else gets and uses they use it on us they kill us we kill them so we are only killing ourselves and not helping us in any way. so i think war is wrong and that we are only leading to our own people dieing along with everyone else in the world ..........Well now that was a HUGE opinion so thats it.... sweatdrop

how r we suposed 2 no wen the world is going 2 end seriously it might it might not i mean wen my grandpa was a kid ppl said the world would end in 10 years hes 50 no older than a kid so theres no way of telling
i dont think it will tho
but the world will end i just dont no wen

A part of me will be holding my breath through most of December 2012 , but a larger part of me, the more intelligent part, will know it is just not our time. It cant be. Here are my reasons why I dont think it will be our time to die:
Biologically/Scientifically: We as humans are still young as far as evolution goes. We still have much to grow, learn and much to do.
Religiously: I am not religious, in fact I'm agnostic, but my grandmother is and shes a good wonderful woman and she says not a soul on this earth knows but God himself. Good enough for me.
Personally: It cant happen yet. I feel like it should be a complete dump and we have hit rock bottom and cant get out of it. Though are economy and political leaders and global issues royally suck right now we can still fix it and it wont be unfixable by 2012
