gonk heart such fragile little things...
when i was a kid, we had a queen who flirted with every tom in sight. so she was always pregnant. the kittens were usually sickly, though. perhaps that's another reason why i prefer adult cats.

;o; Kittens are very delicate. It's so sad that they can die easily.
It would be so nice if cats would live long enough to be around for most of our lives. 10-20 years is just not enough.

I'm still upset we could not get the third kitten inside the house before it went down that active gofer hole. crying On a happier note when I went to the cat show a few years back we bought this really cute cat bed with groves(sp?) in it that when a cat lyes inside and puts their head on top of looks just so darn cute. I thought I would share their site with you. (It is the scallop bed) Cat in a bed

So, when we return Walter to his owner (which should be soon, hopefully), my fiance has agreed to let me get a new kitten. 4laugh
This makes me happy, because he's going to let me get a medium-fur cat which he wouldn't before.

That's a really cute cat bed.
Blue: So Walter's going back for real, eh? That sucks... I hope his owner takes care of him. Congrats on persuading your fiance to get another cat though.

Yeah, she gave us $50 to pay for his food and litter, and another $100 to get him fixed. We are no required to give him back. I told her I want him gone by kitten season though, so I can get my new one.

cardi gophers... eat... kittens?! gonk Gopher ground hog I can't remember they might not eat them but they will attack and kill them if they come down their hole. sad

my little girl cat loves sleeping close to the lamp because it's warm. but she curls up into a tight ball and covers her eyes with her paw. it's so adorable!
