Ophelianime you seem to be neglecting the fact that Aghganastan is threatening to bomb us scream what i was saying is that at first it was afganistan he was after, in retaliation to them attacking on 9/11. that was reasonable, as it was revenge. however, starting an attack on Iraq was not at all reasonable. if afganistan is threatening to bomb us now, guess who we should be focusing on..... yeah, Afganistan. we should have finished up THERE to begin with, instead of attacking a whole other country. But, thanks to him, we are still stuck in Iraq. So if afganistan (or anyone else) was to attack us again, we would not be nearly as prepared as we should be, due to everything weve had to give to the Iraq war.

I never really found out why we're in Iraq in the first place... something to do with oil? maybe? I don't know... I also don't know why we left Afganistan.

Yorozuya_Harujiro I never really found out why we're in Iraq in the first place... something to do with oil? maybe? I don't know... I also don't know why we left Afganistan. 1) partially due to oil, yes. 2) by attacking another country before the '04 election, he could get more votes due to ppl who wanted him to finish what he started. (fun fact. his approval rating was WAY to low to have won that election, but they claim he did)

I'm not a big fan of George Bush. In my opinion he is one of the worse presidents In the history of the USA.
I'm not incredible surprised that he has run this country into the ground, if I remember correctly, He did the same thing to every company he ever managed and had to be bailed out by his father and his fathers friends.
Sure he went to a fancy college, but I doubt it was on his true personal merits and had more to do with his father pulling strings to get him in.
During his years in college he pretty much partied, drinking and doing blow. So we (well not me) elected an ex-alcoholic, cokehead that couldn't manage a bussiness successfuly to be president. It's kinda sad, but I guess we shouldn't be surprised at the results.
It's just to bad that the majority of the people in the USA should be made to suffer for his mistakes, and that he will simply walk away and collect his pension at the tax payers expense.

there should be a bill saying that taxpayers get to decide the pension of elected officials at the end of their term. I can't vote, but if I could, my vote would go for not giving that idiot a cent!

sure, he made some mistakes, but not even some of our best presidents have achieved what he has. under anyone else, our country would have fallen into more chaos after 9-11.
do you consider franklin d roosevelt a good president?! during WW II, he had japanese put into concentration camps. why? to protect them from hate crimes due to american citizens.
after 9-11 how many hate crimes against muslims did you hear about? i, haven;t heard about any.
so, i;m not a fan of mr. bush, but i do believe he is a good president. the best? maybe not, but he;s definitely not the worst.
