Kiruanna It's a very derogatory song, and even small children know it, and the dance to it. It makes me sad. I like the song for the beat not the lyrics, because if I read them, it makes me feel sick. It’s so… degrading for women.

I just want to burst out and die from the comments about Hip-hop in general. Rather say that you hate ******** the shop boyz and or soulja boy for god sakes. ******** class="clear"> Actually I meant mainstream rap, as for the beats...they still them from actual music and mess up the songs completely. What? They steal the beats from 'actual' music? Chyea ok. Whatever. Yeah good music I don't put rap in the same category as actual music its just noise. Kanye West makes some good music, but nothing that a tribe called quest, talib kawlei, outkast, or funkmaster flash didn't do before.

melocure All rap is unintelligent. It's ridiculous. All they sing about is ******** hoes and smoking crack. Nobody cares. I'll personally dispose of 'Soulja Boy' myself. What a stupid name.
Maybe mainstream rap yeah. I guess you've never heard of Uprising records. xD

I remember when I was 15 years old, I use to say "omg rap is so gay".. Until I discovered underground hip-hop & it totally changed my opinion of emcees across the country (even internationally). I prefer to call them Rhymesayers, because "rappers" (aka mtv/radio chart toppers) are the idiots who rap about dumb s**t with their low vocab skills.
Everything I listen to is intelligent, and I listen to all genres.

LUL He is one of the more talented main stream rappers fer sure.
Kanye and Nas are pretty much the only mainstream rappers I can handle for more than 60 seconds. xD
