After she looked at the clipboard too, Yukiko sighed a little bit and looked out the window. She wasn't fond of hospitals, but fter a certian amount of visits, you stopped caring about them. She leaned a little on the wall by the window, looking pretty much spaced out.

"Che. I was fine without you," Alex said, flicking Shin's forehead. "You know what, Sin? You're right. He's too happy. Someone call the people in white!" He laughed a little, getting over the taste of his medicine. He looked up at Sin then glanced around the room; it wasn't right for her to be standing. It also wasn't right for Tohru to be standing, either. But he couldn't seem to spot chairs anywhere!
"There's a chair over here by me, I'm just choosing not to sit," Tohru said, catching Alex's look. He couldn't help but smile as he pushed off the wall, standing without its support. "There's also one near that heart-rate monitor."
"Ah! So there is," Alex said, tilting his head to one side as he spotted the object.

I am the one that flashes before your eyes. Sin laughed at what Alex said; at least the boy was managing to be funny with this situation. Though she still wasn't quiet sure what it was, and even more so, not sure she wanted to know what the cause of him being sick was. She watched Alex look around the room, looking for something particular, and then Tohru told him where the chairs were. What did he need chairs for? He was laying in bed.I am Sin.

"Hey! I know you think thats hilarious but I would so not like to end up in a nut house. A padded cell would be cool but still!" rubbing his forehead and sticking his tongue out at the boy, lex just had to flick him. "Siny sin is to cool for chairs lex...im guessing the medicines working thern right?" the meds had to be, lex seeming sorta out of it but still really happy, and that was good, he wanted lex to smile as much as he could.

Alex finally took note that something was on his chest, finding a little wire running from the heart-rate monitor to somewhere on his chest. Where, he didn't know, as it was under his shirt. "Huh. Now that's something I never noticed," he said aimlessly, poking at the wire. If he followed it, he was sure he could find the source of it. But he didn't. "There is no way in hell I am staying here 24/7. . ."
"Ah. but you lack that choice," Tohru said, walking over to Alex and patting him on the head. "How about in, say, a week or something I help you plot your escape, hm?"
"Seriously?" Alex asked, his eyes widening as he looked at Tohru.
"Hell no."
"Way to kill my morale. . ."
"Anytime," Tohru grinned, laughing a little at the little sigh Alex let out.

"Ouch, tohru is harsh, heh mean as it is though Ive got to agree with him just this once. I dont think well be helping you escape anytime soon lex, not until we know your gonna be okay" shin said watching the little wire "Its not that bad is it? Freaky yeah but, it could be worse....heh wonder what happens if I poke it" messing with alexs hair once again.

"Nothing, probably. It's only a heart-rate monitor," Alex shrugged, poking at the wire again before just leaving it alone. He let a sigh out as he was told the bitter news that he wouldn't be able to escape so easily. As he tried to take in a breath, he found that he couldn't. Caught by surprise, he coughed, which didn't help at all. Yet after a couple of seconds, he could breathe again. "Wow I. . .really don't want to do that again. . ."

"Eh heart monitor, freaky" shin said flinching a little bit as alex coughed "Yeah id like it alot if you didnt lex, eh hey you need that breathy thingy?" shin said pointing to the little clear plastic mask, glad alex was breathing but that small interval of coughing was kinda scary. He was wondering to where yuri was, hed expected her to be first here out of anyone.

"P-Probably," Alex answered, nodding slowly. He reached over and grabbed the plastic mask, putting it over his nose and mouth with one hand, pulling the string back over his head with the other until it fit on perfectly. It felt a little ridiculous, having it on. But it helped so much!

"Holy crap, he listened to me!" it was a bit of a pleasant surprised, hed been getting a whole lot of them lately from lex "Eh, okay wheres alex and what the heck have those nutty doctors done to him! Is that really medicine or do they just have you drugged up" He said grinning wildly it was, kinda amazing, and lex looked, well he looked better, like the stuff he was doing was actually helping ebb off the pain. "Lex listening to people..I think I like it..." he said smiling quietly utterly happy despite his friends dangerous situation...he wasnt dying though, and if he started to theyd fix it.

"That's a simple answer, Shin. That's not Alex. That's an obedient clone that looks exactly like him but will do what you say," Tohru said, rolling his eyes a little as he headed to the door. "No, I'm kidding. Alex is just like that today. Heh, I can imagine why, too." Giving a small wave, he headed out of the room and down the hall towards the hospital exit, humming himself a small tune as he walked in the fresh night air.
"Shut it, you," Alex said, flicking Shin on the head. "Don't get used to me listening. It's rare." He couldn't help but smile, though, as he lay back in the bed, shutting his eyes for a moment.

"Aww, but a clone lex would be so cool! I could use him to clean the house for me and all that other stuff that i hate" laughing at what tohru said waving good bye to the guy as he left, everyone seemed, so much happier now atleast.
"Ouch! Hey I will not..gah why do you have to flick me?" still laughing he couldnt help it right now, lex was so damn happy! "Fine I wont get used to it, but I might start expecting it every now and then" watching his friend close his eyes, lex seemed almost sleepy now.
"Hey maybe we should let him rest a little, I can imagine im such a terrible strain on his attention." he said jokingly as he slid off of the bed, yeah theyd let lex sleep...for a little bit, he wanted to talk to sin a little to, hed hardly gotten to see the girl isnce hed been back, besides so long as lex wasnt bleeding and dying right now, it was okay right?
"What do you think sir sleepy?"

Yukiko looked out the window again. She sighed softly and yawned a little. She ran her fingers through her hair and kept her hand behind her head before she put it down by her side again. Leaning by thw window, she looked around at what was outside. Everything seemed pretty empty. It was pretty dark at the moment, though it never felt like the darkness lasted long. Her right eye turned green like a cat's eye and she looked around again before it changed back. Yeah, pretty much empty. That was good right now. Yukiko leaned a little bit more and just stared out the window, It looked a bit like her mind trailed off, back to her random thinking. That or she just picked a tree to stare at.

"What do I think? I think that Katherine or someone is gonna end up trying to make me eat something while concealing one of those pills inside the food. And, I also think I'm being eaten alive. At least, that's how I feel. Shall I go on?" Alex said at random. He wasn't really paying much attention anymore, rude as it seemed. But he couldn't really help it. He sighed as he tried to let himself fall asleep, but a stab-like pain prevented that, and he winced a little before opening his eyes again. "It. . .is going to be a really long night. . ."

Yukiko looked back at Alex. She really hated seeing people in pain like that. Especially if she couldn't do anything. She closed her eyes tilting her head up a little bit. She laced her fingers, keeping her hands behind her head. Keeping her eyes closed, she tilted her head towards the ground a little bit.
