"Family love is so beautiful" Lance said laughing. He coughed a few times after saying that and before he noticed another person standing near them. "Who are you?" he asked

"Me? Shiei. And that's all you'll get to know," he replied, looking at Lance curiously. He wasn't alright, was he? "It's rude to ask people for their names without introducing yourself."

"Yup," Sasha nodded, yelping as she was suddenly pulled to her feet by Tohru, nearly losing balance. "Ah! I wasn't prepared for that!"
"Don't have to be," Tohru replied, smirking a little before he noticed Shiei; he could've hit the boy right then and there. "Alright, what're you doing here? Haven't had enough chaos?"
"Forgive and forget, you!" Sasha said, kicking Tohru in his shins; not that it affected him or anything. . .

"Yeah, listen to your little sister, Old Man," Shiei smirked, watching Sasha and Tohru for a moment. He watched Sasha a little more closely, partially because he wanted to know how she was even here; hadn't she died by Enzai's hands? He shrugged, letting a small sigh escape him.

"My bad, Im Lance..." He just looked to Shiei. "There's something about him..." as he coughed again.

"Watch who you're calling old, brat!" Tohru snapped, folding his arms and watching Shiei with a cold glare.
Sasha rolled her eyes, muttering something under her breath before she looked at Lance, a little concerned. "You really should do something about that cough. Ah, by the way, Shiei, can I ask you something?" she suddenly asked, walked up to the boy with a small smile on her face. Then she grabbed his hand and pulled him along behind her, away from Tohru and Lance; she didn't want them to overhear, especially Tohru.

"Eh? Ah, hey, wait a second!" Shiei protested as he was dragged, feeling Tohru's glare on his back, now; great, just what he really needed. Just what could she want to ask, anyway? he wondered, reluctantly letting Sasha pull him along; he hated when people did that suddenly. But it wasn't like he could do anything about it now.

Sasha pulled Shiei along until Tohru and Lance were well out of sight, finally stopping and turning to face him, though she didn't let go of the boy. "What's with you, anyway? Aren't you helping Sendoran? You just walked up to us like we were good friends or something."

"You wanna know why? Simple. 'Cause I don't really think Sendoran's all that great anymore. She's not what we expected," Shiei answered, shrugging; he'd expected this question. He didn't think he'd be able to answer it so easily, though. After all, he had helped in killing them several times. Then he eyed Sasha's hand still holding his wrist, and he couldn't help but blush a few shades of red again.

Sasha blinked as she watched Shiei, letting what he'd said sink in; what were the odds that he was actually telling the truth, anyway? Then she noticed how red he'd suddenly turned, letting go of his wrist and placing her hand on his forehead. "You okay? You seem a little warm," she said, a little curiously.

"Eh? Ah... y-yeah, I'm fine," Shiei answered quickly, blushing a little more now, against his will; she was close! She was way too close all of a sudden! Though he had to admit, as he really took careful attention of it, he was feeling more tired than usual. Even at Nia's, he'd felt like this before.

"Hm. . .you don't seem alright," Sasha said slowly, withdrawing her hand away from Shiei and putting it on her hip; she had serious doubts that he was alright. "Well, come on. Let's head to your place so you can get some rest."

Shiei blinked as, once again, he was dragged away. "W-Wait a sec... you don't even know where I live!" Now what was going on? She was making him all uncomfortable now! He sighed, accepting his fate as he simply followed willingly, guessing that they'd suddenly become friends.

Lance turned to Tohru when Sasha and Shiei were out of sight. "Is he a friend of yours or something?" he asked.

"Friends. . .I can't really say we are," Tohru said slowly, rubbing the back of his neck; he remembered all-too well the several times Shiei had tried to kill him, almost managing. He was lucky, in his opinion. "Geez. That girl really can make a friend out of anyone," he sighed, stuffing his hand back into his pocket.
