Well, I have a theory, but it involves spoilers, so those will be in white text: I've heard that one of the main cast members will be dieing in episode 12 or 13 (which are the next 2, are they not?). This means that Claire is most likely going to die during childbirth, but that also seems a little too obvious, so it's possible that Locke is evil and is planning on killing Boone? I think that he wanted to hook up with Ethan/Alex and take Claire, but needed to get rid of Boone first, and that's why he was sending Boone back to the caves, now that Boone's found the metal thing, I'm guessing that he's gonna be killed soon. Of course, they wouldn't kill a character until he's had his individual episode, but isn't Boone's episode either #12 or 13, with the other one belonging to Walt and Michael?

...that was possibly excessively long for something so short.

Anyway, I also have a theory that, since Claire is meant to be raising this child without the help of anyone else, that she may live through the birth, and just take the baby away when everyone else sleeps. That could explain why she's only credited for 7 episodes, and she would just be out of the series for a while. Then she can come back later. That would make me much happier than either her or the baby being dead.

Also, through interviews with the cast members, I think that eventually Sayid and Shannon will hook up, because Naveen said that his character would get romantically involved with someone, while Jorge (Hurley) said that his character wouldn't hook up with Shannon because she'll be chasing someone else.

Is Walt a witch? Have you noticed how incredibly lucky he is? He was reading a comic with a polar bear on the cover, a polar bear then appears. Michael promises to look for Vincent when it stops raining, the rain stops. Walt mentions that he wants to land on one of the islands...they crash. Notice how lucky he was, always getting the role of the dice that he wanted when playing against Hurley? That "light and dark" thing that Locke was talking about, well, being so lucky, and being of darker skin, maybe he's the foil to Claire's baby? The baby is said to have evil power, so maybe Walt is it's anti-Christ? Light and dark, people. 3nodding

Anyone else think that the island is in the Antarctic circle? The "land that time forgot"? Crazy theory, but much more plausible than them all being dead and in purgatory.

All that (above) is really making me sad.. I cant read to much of these things or else, I wont lats a month lol

i've just figured out that the giant monster thing in the jungle has to be mechanical. because in the first episode, you hear a woman in the background talk about the monster and she said that the sound of that thing sounded familiar to her, but she couldn't quite figure out where she's heard it before. and a guy asks her where she's from and she says from Brooklyn. so i was thinking, since Brooklyn is a really big city with a lot of cars and construction working. i figured that the monster has to be mechanical.

see! i knew Locke was evil! and even if he's not evil, there's something very suspicious about him. and you know when Sayid got hit in the back of the head while trying to find the signal of the French woman. well, when Sayid was talking to Locke about it, Locke completely gave himself away that he did it. first off, he said that it must of have been someone who was benefiting from all of this. and Locke is benefiting. like, since the accident he has been able to walk and this is the walkabout that he dreamed of going on. second, he started blaming Sawyer for no reason. he knows that Sayid and Sawyer have problems so he started pointing his fingers at Sawyer to cover up his own tracks. and Sawyer has never done anything to him, so there's no reason why he would hold a grudge against Sawyer. Locke is bad, i tell ya! bad!

actually, i don't think he enjoys being on the island. this is what Kate said: "You don't want to go off this island because there's nothing for you to go back for." i think she means that he doesn't want to leave the island because he doesn't want to go back to his normal life. there's nothing to go back to so what's the point of him going back. i didn't think she meant that he enjoyed being on the island. and Sawyer isn't exactly benefiting from all of this. and i'm not sure if this is just me assuming, but didn't Sawyer run out of cigarettes by that time? if he did, there's no way he could have delayed the fuse of the rocket.

Yeah I agree with the Locke "theory". I've debated whether or not he's evil for a while. At the moment I am 99.9% sure he is. Haha, I'll be proven wrong again.
