It is a quiet evening. Tam is watching over Salunia because Fortuny is feeling rather tired and Hopian is still out of it. His burns don't hurt so much as itch right now. Sahr's medicine has put them well on the way to healing, but now with the fur growing back and the tender new skin forming over the burns, he's sitting on his paws, grumbling at everyone. Tam finishes her story and tucks her into bed with Puss and her toy snake. Then he asks Kero if he wants to play a game or simply go to bed.

*Oddly enough, Kero is very eager to go to bed...slipping off to sleep so quickly, even Tam is suspicious*

Tam sits up with Fortuny and Hope for a bit, making small talk, but when Fortuny begins to nod off, he bids them both good night and climbs up to his bed.
Gazing down at the cub he scratches his head in wonder. Kero is already out cold and somehow taking up a good half or more of a bed big enough for four grown men. How in the heck does he do that?, laughs Tam to himself as he quickly slips out of everything by his pants and crawls into bed, curling up against the cat's soft warm back. He's still half my size and yet ye always manages to hog the bed. It's amazing how much space he can control, when he wants to.

*Kero, in his dreams...is inventing...a stasis spell...one to let him sleep away long hours and not be troubled...he doesn't even awaken when Tam prods him the next morning*

At first Tam lets him sleep in, but by lunch time he begins to get worried. Finally he pays a neighbor boy a few coins to go fetch Shar from the temple, fearing that the lion has caught some odd illness. When Hopian wonders what is going on, he tells him he has no idea, but that things seem rather suspicious.

*Hopian taps his forehead...and freezes...his mind melding captured by Kero's dream...finally...he begins to shake himself free...once Shar arrives, he is nearly removed...and when she kneels down, he pulls free completely*
That old goat...he's dream schooling! Teaching himself Voidmagic in his dreams!

Tam shakes his head with a knowing laugh. "I wonder how long that has been going on?" he murmurs with an amused snort. "Ye okay?" he asks Hopian who looks a little befuddled.
He looks d own at the cub and sighs. "So... our plan of action is what? He's really not old enough or mature enough to handle all of it just yet... He's got years of growing yet to do... mentally and physically. Has he done this before?"

Tam nods and looks at Shar. "Guess that means I'll need to do a bit of dream walking. Oh well, can't hide what I am when I do that... but then it should get his attention fast. I'm pretty sure having something glowing like an incandescent bulb on steroids flying through yer dreams on wings that seem to take up an entire room is a little hard to ignore."
"An incandescent what?" asks Shar with a puzzled frown.

Tam shrugs. "Only one way to find out, wouldn't you agree? I've done it before, with some of my charges it is the only way I can reach them. Some are so heart sore and soul wounded the only way I can get them to trust me is to have them convince themselves I'm not out to hurt them."
