"Th-Thank you ag-again... H-Have a-a good d-day Y-Your Highness..." he said with a small bow. Arron trotted after the lion.

Atticus left through the door after he'd nudged it opened, and he began to trot down the hallway and out of the castle. He seemed to know where he was going, so the directions weren't truly all that necessary.

Arron followed, catching up to the lion. He walked beside him, keeping a hand on Atticus's mane so he would not get lost.

The lion led on through the town with quiet determination. He walked a set course until he came upon a small quaint house at the far edge of town, all by itself. Once he arrived, he sat in front of the door and waited for Arron to knock, only to flinch when the door opened on its own and a lovely women of about 45 stood in the entrance. She had bright blue eyes just like Talbot's, and a pale complexion that matched her honey-blonde hair. Her expression was one of horror when she saw the two, and her face lost all colour. "Oh god... please no...." she uttered. She assumed the worst upon seeing Atticus without Talbot beside him after all of those years that he'd been missing.

"Ah... H-Hello Mrs. N-Nesdin... I-I'm Arron Str-Straight... I-I have... news ab-about y-your son." he said politely, "He-He's a-alive. M-May I-I come in..?" Arron figured, seeing the woman's reaction that it would be best to start off with the good news first.

"He's alive? But... where is he? Is he hurt? Is he in some sort of danger?" the woman uttered, worried even though she'd been told her son was alive. She took a few deep breaths after her questions and stepped out of the way of the door. "Yes... please come inside. I'm sorry about that. I'm just.......please come in." her voice wavered as she spoke.Atticus wandered into the house and found his favourite place by the door to lie down and nap.

[quote="Slave Boy Anon'] Arron stepped inside the house, looking around. He wanted to tell Talbot's mother & father everything he knew. He thought they deserved it after suffering for so long. "Th-Thank you Ma'am..." he said.

The inside of the house was cosy, and welcoming. It seemed like a wonderful place to be raised in, despite the bullying Talbot likely faced outside of it. Mrs. Nesdin let the way into the sitting room and sat down on the couch before standing again. "Can I get you anything? Perhaps something to eat, or...?" it seemed she was delaying now, even after all of her questions. She wanted to avoid bad news for fear of finally learning of her son's fate.

Arron sat down & his stomach growled, causing him to blush. He had not eaten much since being on the road with the lion. "Y-Yes please..." he mumbled shyly. The mechanic did not want to sound intruding however.

With a nod, she rushed off to the kitchen. After some clattering and banging, she finally re-emerged with what looked like soup and bread that she set on the coffee table for both Arron and herself. Without a word, she started to eat, avoiding eye contact with Arron at all costs. If she ignored the bad news, maybe it would go away.

"Th-Thank you..." he said quietly. Arron felt horrible for making Talbot's mother react in such a fashion. He ate with her in silence.

Once she was finished eating, she tapped her fingers against her knees while looking around the room. As the silence mounted, she took a breath and spoke. "So how was your journey here? Safe, I hope? You seem uninjured so Atticus must have taken you in a route away from the battles..." she stated quickly.

"It-It was slow... b-but no tr-trouble..." he said. After a few minutes of silence again Arron was the one to break it. "...He-He's alive & we-well..." he said before starting to tell what he knew. Arron hoped that the woman would listen.

Mrs. Nesdin sighed, tucking some stray hairs that escaped her bun behind her ears. "...please tell me everything. My husband and I... we've wanted to know for so long. I need to know that my son is safe... or... even if he's not, I need to know what's become of him." her eyes looked full of despair as she spoke. She'd waited for four years to hear that her son's body had been found, and it was increasingly difficult to keep herself together once the news of his whereabouts was finally being told.

With a nod, Arron launched into his story. He told her what he told the king. He told her the truth & all he knew.
