He keeps saying that he won't fail the task he's been given. Whatever that means. And then I mentioned the fact that he seemed familiar and said I thought I'd met him before. He proceeds to tell me to calm down and that I never have met him before. But then he just stopped in the middle of his sentence and simply said never mind. He's hiding something. He claims that he can't remember anything. But I highly doubt that that's true." Jacie explained draining the rest of her lemonade, secretly hoping that her story made sense.
Lylla nodded in agreement with Marshall as she payed close attention to Jacie's story. What was with this guy? In his interview he seemed so well rounded and collected. Now he was being shady? Jacie never had been one to lie, especially to Lylla and Marshall. So Lylla couldn't help but believe her story. When Jacie had finished her tale of 'woe', Lylla stole a worried glance over at Marshall, awaiting his response.

Marshall looked at her and smiled " Well...there is a slight possibility that he really can't remember." he said " I mean if he did well enough in an interview with Lylla to be yuor butler he is obviously a skilled and collected young man." he said. He shrugged " Something happened to the boy obviously....and when he was talking about the task..technically he is to serve you so he doesn't want to fail." he said " Jacie you are a very hard to...argue with so obviously he was smart enough to realize it early and gave up." he said " Maybe at some point he will regain his memory....until then you should just bare with him" he said.

"I think you should go apologize to him, kiddo."
Jacie sighed and pushed herself off of the counter. "Fine! I'll go apologize!" with that, Jacie tossed the empty can into a bin with the rest of the pop cans and walked out of the room, looking for Marcus.
Lylla sighed and hung her head. "That girl is too much like her father." she said with a slight smile.

The poor girl has basically raised herself. And believe me I'm proud of her for being strong enough to do that but... I just wish I'd been there for her." Lylla admitted.
By now Jacie had searched the entire mansion and asked every maid she could find. No one had seen him. Finally, Jacie had Gardevior change her hair color from blue to brown before the girl darted out of the front door and down the long, winding path towards town.

Marcus continued to walk through the streets looking around, He sighed and walked into a gift shop and looked around. He wasn't aware of Jacie looking for him at all but he was being careful as not to give himself away as a trainer Marshall smiled " She might not be yuor real child but she might as well be." he said " Take a little bit of time off...spend time with her..after all..shes under yuor charge...if you need help just ask me..I'm there for you Lylla." he said " Besides...I can tell she really needs company...and not from the staff." he said.

As soon as she said it, Lylla noted how strange it sounded. "Was that wrong of me to do?" Lylla said as she gave a small laugh and looked over at Marshall.
Jacie arrived in town out of breath and slightly scared. Jacie's fake brown eyes darted around town, looking for Marcus. "Please don't do anything stupid." she breathed as she started jogging through town.

Marcus was away from the store and wandering around the town. When he was deep enough he walked into a clothing store for a moment though after an hour inside Darkrai decided to break out scaring everyone and causing them to run. Marcus was still a little confused as it wasn't explained all that much so he just called him back in though he could hear sirens off in the distance. Marshall couldn't help but laugh hysterically and nearly fall out his seat. He looked at her " Lylla...you and matchmaker do not mix." he said " You don't hire a friend for someone...you just have to let them meet." he said " Its kind of weird to be her friend when he has to serve her." he said.

Jacie stopped running when she heard the faint sound of sirens. Just as she was turning around to see where the sirens were headed, Jacie heard the main siren go off, announcing to the city that a pokemon trainer had been spotted. "You're kidding me." Jacie darted into an alley and instantly transformed into the legendary Suicune. People in the Johto regions greatly respected the three legendary beasts and those three pokemon were the only ones you could find roaming the region. And she knew as long as she stayed in this form, no one would bother her. But even with her fake brown hair and eyes, people would recognize her and most likely arrest her. Jacie darted out of the alley and used Suicune's amazing sense of smell to catch a hint of pokemon odor. Suicune growled at a nearby officer and then jumped onto the roof of one building and started hopping from roof to roof, following the sent.

Marcus saw the light approach and ran off knowing that only meant trouble. He threw out his Pokeball calling out Darkrai. Darkrai put his hand on Marcus's hand and sort of absorbed into Marcus skin turned it black. Marcus turned into shadow and ran off crawling up the side of a very large building and coming back up there. Marshall smiled and looked at her " Yep...I'm sure these things will work themselves out." he said and laughed " They always do anyway..." he said.

Suicune jumped onto one roof and suddenly the scent stopped. Suicune blinked a few times and then looked down at an oddly placed shadow on the top of the roof. There it was, the source of the scent. This shadow was a pokemon? Suicune batted at it with her paw as the sirens blared even louder.

Marcus popped out of the shadow " Will you stop that!" he said Darkrai split off from him before Marcus called him back into its pokeball. He looked at the Pokemon and stared " What the..." he said and stood going over to the edge. Marshall looked over at her and raised a brow " Now your starting to scare me a little." he joked and stood up cracking his back " Well...you mind taking me on a tour?" he asked her.

It wasn't until he asked about the tour did she snap out of her trance. "Huh? Tour? Oh yeah. Sure thing." she smiled and slid off of the barstool and walked out of the kitchen, her heels clicking on the black and white tiles. "Well come on then."
