Sunoka looked at Mona and Michael with a sad face. "... I just want to help, but... I feel like such a burden because of my blindness..." She explained as she looked at the ground again. "I want to fight with them... but I'd just be in the way..." The girled murmured.

Michael thought for a second, knowing if they lost he was going to be punished severely. If they won, he might still get punished for aiding Tenebre and the others before. Helping Sunoka might make things worse for him, but help her.
"Can you feel the rumble of Tenebre's footsteps? Can you pinpoint his voice, his moves?"
Tenebre suddenly cut off his attack, and gathered energy in a ball for a second in his talons. He looked up in case anyone came to attack him.

Sunoka thought for a second. Once again, she remembered being able to hear a guard's footsteps and know exactly where he was. But how did she do it? "I remember... I was told that my parents died... then everything was strange... people were chasing me... and I lunged at a guard..." She recalled, trying to think of what had caused her to have such skills. "But why can't I do that now?" Sunoka wondered.

Tenebre threw the ball of darkness at the ground beneath his feet, utter blackness encasing the area as the ball slowly spread. Within the sphere, the features of Tenebre could not be seen, as all light was blotted out. Only the occasional telltale breif flash in his eyes gave away his position every so often. But, unlike most, Tenebre didn't use light to see. He saw the others perfectly as he got ready his next ferocious attacks.
Michael saw the darkness and grabbed Mona and Sunoka, pulling them away before they got encased. He looked at the swirling mass, noting how it was likely a temporary phenomenon. He hoped it wasn't as hard to see from inside as it was to see in from the outside.

Midna pushed Link and Zelda out of the way so they didn't get encased. She allowed herself to be instead.

Dark hit the wall of building and fell down to earth. He was knocked out for a little bit. He came to a few seconds later. "Ugh that was a throw... Wait... Hey look shadows!" Dark then jumped into the orb that Midna and Tenebre were in. "I've never felt this power before." He said when he landed inside. "Urg!" He fell to his knees and felt himself growing in stature. "Now I can take you on Tenebre!" He then pulled out a Double S Bladed Claymore.

Tenebre looked around the pure darkness, but it was just like looking at day for him. His eyes didn't require light to work. He turned to see dark Link grow in power, and Tenebre got into a ready stance.
"Looks like you might be a worthy opponent!"
He ran towards the Oni and slashed vertically.
Michael looked at the darkness, though he saw the temperature within the encased area was dropping, as the heat being conducted through the air and ground away from the area was no longer being renewed by the sun's light. Soon it would be 0 K, or absolute zero, where the 5th state of matter occurred, a plasma-like substance. He had to get the others out of there before they froze completely. He turned to Sunoka.
"Can you tell where Tenebre is? I need to be able to take him out and get the others out before its too late."

Sunoka looked at Michael. "... I can try..." She murmured, concentrating on any sound or vibration she could hear or feel. She concentrated as hard as she could, but couldn't hear or feel anything. "... I'm sorry..." The girl murmured, shaking her head. "... I can't sense anything..." Sunoka lowered her head in disappointment.

Sarri felt cold; the hairs on the back of her neck prickled and her breath came out in short gasps. During the confusion, she had tripped once again and tumbled into the darkness. A scream caught in her throat and she could barely whimper. The darkness obliterated her sight and she crumpled into a ball.
GET YOURSELF TOGETHER! she scolded herself as the fear and panic washed through her. She drew her short sword and struggled to her feet, grimacing at the sheer darkness. She felt enclosed and felt panic rise again.

Link stared at the darkness where Midna had disappeared. He glanced over at Sunoka, Michael, and Mona. His eyes widened as he noticed a particular absence of a body.
Sarri was gone!

Midna, as a creature of the Twilight, could see just fine in the darkness. She ran over to Sarri, knowing Dark could defend himself. "Sarri? You OK?"

Dark barely blocked the vertical slash with his sword. "Get out of here this is going to get deadly!" He the sent a low power sword beam to knock Midna and Sarri out of the darkness. "Now to deal with you..." Dark said in a low voice while waiting for Tenebre to strike again.

Michael sighed and tried to peer into the darkness, but unless he was inside he couldn't use his night vision. He started to walk into it when he saw figures vaguely flying towards him.
Tenebre growled and did two horizontal slashes, then a quick kick followed by a vertical slice and a punch armed with darkness, saying while he did this,
"Fool, you stand no chance. You may gain power, but you do not know your limitations!"

"Then help me! But don't get in the way!" Dark blocked the slashes but the kick knocked his balance off when his foot hit the sword. "Urgh!" Dark grunted when the fist slammed into his side. Dark quickly got back to his feet and did a shadow spin.

"Ooouff!" Sarri was tossed backwards and landed directly on Link. Already frustrated and shivering from the adrenaline of fear, She sat upright, ignoring that she was right on top of Link. "Gee thanks!" she shouted at the darkness.
"By the goddesses, what a ru-"
"Um, excuse me... Sarri? You're on top of me."
"Be quiet! I'm think- oh. Sorry." She climbed off and let him breathe. She scratched her head with embarrassment and smiled.
"You were lucky that I had sheathed my sword by then. You would have been hurt."
