** ye are so... well ye just are, ye know.... stare **
Tam uncurls enough to embrace the lion and pull him close, burying his face in Kero's fur. The more love is given away, the more it grew... everyone knew that. And the seed had been planted. Now only time would tell. Sighing sleepily he snuggles close and drifts off to sleep, dreaming of ice princesses and raging salamanders. It isn't a restful night... for either of them.

*Kero wakes up grumpy...heading out into the kitchen...at least the cottage is warm...Pyration seemed to be taking his punishment seriously*

Tam soon joins him rubbing his eyes and yawning hugely. "Is it morning already? Can't be... I declared today a holiday... no work... we all sleep in... when Corby gets here we'll have a lazy breakfast and just be done with it...." says Tam suddenly heading back up the stairs and returning to bed.

*Kero happily follows the bard up, laying down and closing his eyes with relish*

**Good fer ye... everyone needs a holiday once in awhile**
Tam is soon out cold, but Kero finds it difficult to sleep, for now that he is truly asleep Tam is sawing logs like no tomorrow.

*So Kero simply drips a bit of Melatoxin into each ear...going deaf for about an hour or so*

Only to be rudely awakened by Salunia jumping up and down on him. She is grinning from ear to ear and telling him something, but he can't hear a word she's saying.

So she begins to shout, which wakes up Tam but he still can't hear her. Tam sits up and grumpily rubs his eyes and ears.
"Salunia... what is going on?" he asks, but of course Kero has no idea as to what he is saying.
"Corby's here and lazy bones won't get up... he keeps saying he can't hear me..." grumbles the cub with a pout. "I eve shouted louder so he would."
"I know... tell me about it.." laughs Tam sourly rubbing one ear. He turns to Kero and asks him a question, but of course Kero can't hear him.

Tam jumps to his feet in panic. "Salunia, go get yer father... now." he says worriedly and begins to examine Kero, checking him for signs of fever and swelling.

*Kero swats his hand away*
I deafened myself for an hour...I'm perfectly fine....if little miss Jump-on-her-uncle there hadn't bounced all over me, I'd have woken up being perfectly capable of hearing...melatoxin in one's ear deafens for an hour, just as placed on the tongue destroys the sense of taste.
