Azumi looked around for the others when the darkness faded. Out of nowhere lighting came. It pulse through her body. Every molecule in her went crazy. The pain was excruciating. Everything seemed to slow down in her mind. "....crap..." she thought. In an instanst everything was going as fast as lightning. She threw back her head and an ear spliting scream tore in the air. Her eyes colors flashed quickly. She tried to stiffle the scream. It worked for a moment but then she couldn't take it anymore and continued to scream. It seemed like hours before it stopped. Azumi fell forward no catching herself at all. Her body twitched involutarily. Her hands were bloddy frm clenching her mails into her palm. Her eyes were their normal color again but unfocused. Azumi's whole body was covered in an array of slits and cuts.

"What happened just now...?" Rin's body had absorbed the electrical attacks that had come, neutralizing it with her own powers without taking damage. However, she was filled with a lot more energy than before and she could not control her abilities as easily because off that. She remembered that Azumi's powers were heavily based around water, meaning that being hit by that electrical attack would have doubled the damage done to her. The lightning user paled considerably, having a bad feeling that the others had been hit by the same attack. She lifted Azumi's limp form, heading towards where the main damage had been done in hopes of finding the others. She went faster than normal, channeling the extra energy into her step.

Noah looked up and saw Azumi's state. He pulled out some water. "Here, i'll handle her." he said. He took the shard and put it on Azumi's chest. He put his hands on it and breathed. "Draw from the Enigma." he said. Noah's shard began to glow along with Azumi's shard. Azumi's body began to light up as all her cuts were healed. Noah afterward laid back and smiled. "Wow, that does take out a lot of energy form you." he said breathing heavily. He looked over at Azumi. "You okay?" he said giving her the water bottle he had.

Azumi felt her body leaving the cold earth. She suddenly had the sensation that she was moving fast. She tried to move, even open her eye, but he effort tired her out more. She completely passed out.

"...Too bad I didn't come here earlier..." Rin was unsettled, knowing she could have done something about the lightning herself but had simply been too late. At least they had obtained another shard of the Enigma, it could possibly come in handy for the future.

Noah stood up. "It's okay Rin. Now, where to? I think we need more answers about what is going on." he said looking around. He looked over at Azumi and shook his head. "I hope she's okay," he said picking her up in his arms.

((Sorry everyone, my brother kicked me off and I couldn't get back on...))
Exodus calmed down, returning to his normal state. "So it was a Light shard?" He pulled out his book that he recently obtained, and began reading it and studying it.

"Now that this town seems to have reverted to normal, we can leave. There has been too much trouble for them anyways..." Rin paused as Exodus talked about the shard. If they were embedded into another human being, then the only way to obtain it was to kill them. She said nothing about it but had a strange feeling that someone had died to give them a fragment of the Enigma.

"Man...everywhere we seem to go, we bring trouble with us..." Exodus scratched his head, the book still open. "Well...I guess we should get moving right away then."

Noah looked at Rin and Exodus. "So, where to now then? Is there another town where we can find someone who knows of the Enigma, Rin?" he said setting Azumi in a piggy-back fashion on his back for easier transport.

"All we have to do is follow the rumours about mysterious attacks or the shards themselves and we should be able to find them..." Rin concluded, looking at the other people there. They appeared to have not taken that much damage thankfully, but they did seem drained of energy.

Exodus thought for a moment. "Well we should check the closest town. We found the one here and it would be a miracle if there was another." He closed the book and put it back in his pack.

Noah went and bought a newspaper and looked through the articles. "Hm, look at this. It says 'Strange Attacks' have been happening in a city not far from here. It's called 'Moonburg' I think we have our next destination." he said looking through a map he had and the newspaper.

Azumi finally stopped twitching. She was glad for the stillness in her limb. It had felt weird when her muscles twitching moving a random body part. She sighed in her unconscineness.

He checked around to make sure everyone was ok and healed from the encounter. If anyone was injured in any way, he healed them. He let out a sigh of exhaustion, "Looks like we're headed to Moonburg then."
