Vaati came back around quickly afterward. "Huh? Opal? What are you doing?" Vaati asked, feeling a slight tingle in his chest which disappeared on cue. "You didn't..." He mumbled.

Opal looked away, still holding his hand, and wished that Ezlo would go deaf for a bit. "I did it because I love you... I hate seeing you in pain... I didn't... want to see you in pain anymore." She said, feeling tears in her eyes. She felt her hand tighten around his hand.

Vaati nodded and wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a tight hug. He didn't care if Ezlo saw, in fact, he knew Ezlo would figure him out eventually. He glanced at the hat, who only smiled back at him. "I have four days to learn how to walk again..."

Alyssa ate the rest of her strawberries and sat down beside Zathier, resting her head on her shoulder. She gasped in surprise when a dark hand grabbed her and pulled her into the floor. Most of all, she let the backpack on the floor. "Zathier!" She called out before she disappeared.
Dark laughed and half emerged in the shadow. He was a figured completed covered in a black mist and barely resemble a human. "Hehe, do you want to come?"

"Alyssa!" Zathier shouted and ran over to where she was. He looked back at Dark. "Where is she!?" He demanded to know.

"I took her home. Do you want to come?" Dark repeated with a devilish smirk. Usually, he wasn't in the mood to kidnap, but now he was bored, with no one to play with. Arious was busy with his kid and Darious was busy with Helios. But for now, he had no one.

"I don't lie, Zathier," he murmured with a grin. He took his hand and dragged him back through the shadows. He pulled Zathier out again in the middle of a dead forest. The soil was more black than brown, the sky was dark with no stars. The only source of light came from a larger moon. Dark smirked and laughed again. "She's somewhere om this forest. Go find her before the ReDeads do, and that won't be pretty."

Dark ducked into the shadows before the rock hit him. He chased after Zathier and dove into his shadow to watch the action. "The night never falls, so the ReDeads will never stop. The screech alone is enough to freeze one's soul before their decided to eat your neck until your head falls off. Don't worry, she'll probably die before her head falls off1" Dark sneered form his shadow.

"When I find Alyssa... I'll kill you Dark!" Zathier souted and used his elven speed to speed through the forest. "AAA-LYY-SSSSAAA!!!!" He shouted again.
