"Besides, if she is really cheating, then there would be another man in that house. So if we enter the house and look around for a bit, we would come up with a good conclusion saying she is or is not cheating." Kaze explained.

Alyssa stuffed her bag and left it on the bed. Then she went downstairs and found the strawberries they picked for Vaati's cake. There were still fresh, she discovered, and eagerly washed a handful before she brought them back to Zathier. "Strawberry?"
Vaati perk up, his nose sniffing the air non-stop. "I smell strawberries! Opal, can get me some?"
((Hurray for pathetic attempts to get myself involved again!))

"Sure!" Zathier said excitedly and began to eat the strawberries.
"Well, I could distract Silver by knocking on the door and talking to her while you check the house. Sound good?" Kaze suggested.

"Crap, why can't I figure out to turn into a human again?" Vaati hissed, but he warped himself out nonetheless. He landed on Zathier's shoulders and sniffed the strawberries Alyssa had. He managed to claw himself in with his good arm and leg, still scared to use the bad limbs.
"No! Strawberries are bad for cats. Zatheir, hold these." Alyssa murmured, dropping her bundle into Zathier's hands and picked up Vaati.

"Exactly! Opal thinks I can a cat and resemble a human when I choose. Now gimme the strawberries and no one gets hurt!" Vaati murmured and pawed for the strawberries. Alyssa held him away from the strawberries.
"Um, Opal? Opal!" Alyssa called out. She didn't know where she could be, but if Vaati was here, Opal had to be close.

Opal walked out the room and walked over to Alyssa and Zathier. "I'll take him Alyssa... He should turn into a human soon..." She murmured, hanging her head hiding her face from view.

Alyssa tapped his head and handed him over gently. She doubted his bones were better now. "Opal, earlier isn't a big deal. You can look at me you know...." She murmured sadly.

"No, I just met her in the hallway of the inn when her little girl, April was running around." Kaze explained. "And how would she know I was following her? Maybe I just had something I needed to buy here and I just happened to see her?" He suggested.
(Gaia really needs to come up with a system that tells you if someone edited their post without you manually checking yourelf...)

"It's alright, I'm not mad, just surprised..." Alyssa shrugged. Vaati, no!" Alyssa shouted in surprise. Vaati was licked his lips to help clear some of the evidence, but he still had the strawberry juice on the turf on his chest. "How did he get it?"
