"Well, I don't like it when you're not happy," Vaati answered with a slight shrug. His shoulder was already in pain from that little movement. "I think Darious healed more than the flesh wound. My leg feels better than it has been..." Vaati decided to report.

"...She wasn't doing anything bad, though I'm scared of what she had in mind with the ribbon." He murmured, looking at Opal. In a blink of any eye, a lavender cat took Vaati's place. He was flat on his back with his limbs in the air. "Huh?"

Opal looked over at him, a little wide eyed. "But... you..." She said, too shocked to speak. She was sure she had turned him human... or Neko... in her terms. Did Neko's have the ability to shift back and forth from Cat and Human? "How did you do that?" She finally asked, taking the lavender kitty into her arms. It would be much easier to transport him places if he was a cat.

"I... don't know..." Vaati responded, to shocked to think it through. His broken leg twitched slightly, as did his bad paw. "What about the bones? I don't know how transforming would affect broken bones!" Vaati was beginning to panic, it was he to see in his now large eyes.

"I'm not sure... maybe we should head back..." She said looking at him. "Vaati don't panic, alright?" She said, kissing the top of his head gently, standing up, still holding him gently in his arms.

"That's easy for you to say; you don't have broken bones!" Vaati whined, but he kept himself from moving too much. He sat calmly, though his eyes and his words were a different story.

"Just stay calm alright Vaati? We'll get you back to the inn..." Opal said, turning and walking towards the inn. She didn't want to go to her room though. She didn't want to face Alyssa after what had happened. She walked into Vaati's room and placed him on the bed.

"There you two... Vaati, are you a cat again?" Ezlo asked as he hopped into the room.

"Looks like it Ezlo... looks like he can transform back and forth from Human and Cat." Opal said pulling a pillow and scrunching up the blankets to make it more comfortable for Vaati. She bent down and picked up Ezlo and placed him on her head.

Ezlo watched Vaati carefully. He seemed pretty comfortable in the blanket bundle. He always seemed happy as a cat. He was never a happy Hylian camper. "I wonder if this what's best for his injuries..."

"It's possible... his breaks must be smaller when he transformed. So it might heal faster. And it's easier to move him, than if he was a human." Opal said stroking Vaati gently.

Vaati purred loudly. He was obviously enjoying it.
"It is more convenient, but I'm sure his breaks would still be just as bad. His breaks would be smaller now since he's a smaller animal. I can't be sure if it's faster for him to heal that way." Ezlo explained as he glanced around.

"I'd say he's pretty comfortable as he right now." Ezlo glanced down. Vaati was looking pretty happy with Opal petting him. "Maybe we should talk to someone else and see what they think. Maybe Kaze has a better idea."
