"What was that look for?" Vaati asked and set the empty bowl next to him. Ezlo sighed.
"I don't think anyone would enjoy being called a 'brat'. That's a no brainer, Vaati...." Vaaati hissed at him, but Ezlo ignored him. Again.

Opal tilted her head a little. How would Zathier parents know Silver? Did all elves know each other?

"Why would she run? What did you parents say about her, Zathier?" Alyssa asked and sat at the end of Vaati's bed with her notebook out. Vaati hissed and rolled his eyes at her.

"Keep thinking Zathier, I'm sure it'll come," Alyssa responded as a brush and black ribbon suddenly appeared in her hands. She went behind Vaati, removed the Minish Cap and began brushing his hair. "I guess being in bed all day messed your hair up... Your fur was so smooth when you were a cat," Alyssa stated. For some reason, Vaati was being as aggressive as she thought he would be. Maybe brushing his hair was like petting him in Vaati's mind.

Opal looked at the ground, her ears folded. She suddenly stood up and snatched the brush out of Alyssa's hand. Her eyes widened at what she had just done, the brush dropped and clattered on the ground. She turned and rushed off, taking Ezlo off and leaving him in the room. She felt tears in her eyes as she headed outside.

Zathier watched Opal run out of the room. "... I don't think she liked you messing with Vaati like that..." He muttered and looked over at Alyssa.

"Ugh, Opal!" Vaati shouted and rose out of bed. He leaned all of his weight on leg and stood on the tip of of his toes to balance himself. He managed to drag himself to the door frame and glanced out into the halls. Maybe Darious healed more than the flesh wound, his leg wasn't really bothering him as mush as it did before.
"I didn't think she was the jealous type." She murmured as she watch Vaati attempt to walk. She took the black ribbon she had and used to tie up her own hair instead.

"Shut. Up." Vaati hissed. He traced her wind and warped right in front of her. He lost his balanced and fell backwards. 'At least I fell on my back...' Vaati thought to himself.

Opal blinked, seeing Vaati warp infront of her. She had been sitting down, but she quickly stood up and caught him in her arms. But he was a little too heavy for her, so she fell backwards and hit the ground as he landed on her. "...Vaati, are... you okay?" She managed to say.

"I'm alright. Nothing's more broken than they already are," Vaati murmured as he rolled to the side to get off of Opal. He was afraid he might have crushed her. "Are you alright?"

"I'm okay." She said, sitting up, moving her limbs, but nothing was broken, she was a little sore from landing on the ground.

"I see. What about emotionally?" Vaati ask as he dusted himself off, or as much as he could on his back. He wondered if he was going to touch a nerve with the question and carefully watch Opal for her response.
((I wonder if I should make him like Denji with the ability to transform himself into a cat?))

"... Why would you care about something like that?" Opal said, looking at the ground, her ears folding back. She wasn't exactly sure why she had reacted like that. Maybe it was jealousy... but then again... maybe it was something defensive? Did she do it, because Vaati was uncomfortable?
