Thank you muchly, Syren, and Wingle. I think I mostly have it figured out what to say, I just need a time when we're both available :<
Yeah, avoiding the "Let's just be friends" is key in this whole thing.
I need something like "I have a wicked time being with you, and I think you're great, but I'm not feeling any chemistry." Something like that.

Hopefully~ I will be talking to him tomorrow. I have a bad feeling that he'll be like, let's give this a second chance and I'll be, okay D:
I was supposed to possibly go out with a friend tonight to "meet people" but uh, I slept instead of calling him, and now it's 10 after 10, so eff that noise, really. XD Imma go watch Friends!

We broke up.
He agreed to it, and said it seemed like we wanted different things (Dunno what they are). And that this was much better then his last breakup. As he had been engaged, and she left him for his best friend.
...Who gets engaged at 20?! Jesus. Anyways. Yeah. Maybe what he wanted was to settle down more and I... want to just have something for a while.

I got engaged when I was 21.
I got married when I was 22.

But... I started dating in 7th or 8th grade and had six boyfriends before I dated my husband. He had one girlfriend at the end of high school. Both of us wanted something serious and lasting and were ready to settle down, so we did. I think it just takes a certain kind of person. I certainly had boyfriends (and friends now) who are really much happier just dating. <3
My first break-up was AWFUL. He sobbed over the phone and I think he hoped to guilt trip me into not ending it (that's how he convinced me to do most things). I am glad yours was a better experience!

Nah, I don't really mean it's a bad thing. Just, young. I have a friend that was married at 18, had a kid at 19, and is now separated/divorced before 21. And is now engaged again. So, that's why I think sometimes, that needs to be thought about.
You though, I can see you were ready for it. And you're really happy still. Woot. I mean, maybe Brad was ready for it too. He must have been, to even get engaged. I, however, am not. Nor will I be for a while. "Ahhhhh"

I am so not ready for kids. >.< My in-laws are none to subtle about the fact that they want them, but it terrifies me that people my age and younger have them.
Being a mother is almost more scary than a nuclear holocaust.
Srsly.
My agreement with my husband is to wait until his doctorate before we consider them and then I can stay home and write while they are young/I am a fat cow pregnant with them.
At least if I'm with spawn I have more time to RP. <3

Cursed summer reading and parental tyranny . At least I was still able to go to the TBM / MSI concert, though . < 3
I'm sorry you broke up, but I think that, if it was for the best with both of you, 's a good thing . Also, I'm glad it went better than Syren's first ( I know that could sound bad, but Wingles is tired and she means it in the best way possible ) .
There are other fish in the sea, as they say . Some are sharks ( that could be dangerous, if you're bleeding or resembling a seal / dying creature in some fashion ), and some are jellyfish ( the epitome of evil ) . Some are even coral ( pretty to look at, but rather lifeless ) . I know that it's not a fish, but I'm going with an ocean metaphor and I was on a roll and it's 4 in the morning and that's that .
But SOME are whales . Everyone loves whales ( except seals and microscopic organisms ) .
Wingles is going to nod now, and everyone is going to be nice and pretend she made sense .
Syren, if you make spawn, you can set them to work on gold farming for you .
