"Is the pole still out there?" Eric asked Lawrence.
Lawrence snapped back to reality. "oh yeah. It's just back there. Are you planning in catching some?"
"Breakfast probably," Eric said poking the fire.
Lawrence nodded and ate another chunk of fish. "how long are we here for again?"
"As long as the heartless don't show up we can stay here a week. Otherwise we leave when we want to. It's not like we'd have any homework anyway the way classes are set up," Eric said. Lawrence shrugged.

Lawrence chuckled. "Not much kid. We've just been chatting and cooking over the fire," he said smiling.
Eric stood up. "Do you have a net Lawrence?"
"theres no shrimp here man. I know it's your favorite, but the conditions aren't right,"
"Oh, we'll there goes that plan,"
"Just relax man. It's our vacation after all. We'll pull the ship up tomorrow and then we've got all the time in the..." Lawrence's eyes shot toward the nearby jungle. "You have a heartless dog as a pet right Alex?" he asked. Theres no way they got here. This world is supposed to be safe right? he thought.

Lawrence continued looking toward the trees. "Did you bring him along? I swear I saw yellow eyes out here,"
"Lawrence, are you going paranoid again?"
"I swear to yogtz man. I saw heartless eyes back there,"
"Heartless only exist in the space around this island and possibly in the seas. There aren't any on land anymore since that one kid destroyed them,"
"Well he missed one then," Lawrence replied.

Eric turned to kirune and circled his finger around his ear. This was the sign that he thought Lawrence was crazy.

Lawrence sighed. "And here I thought I'd have to go hunting tonight,"
"That would be fun. We need to do that again some time. Just find a place full of enemies and kill until we are satisfied. It's been way to long since that happened,"
"What about that neo attack? Or that ballroom fight?"
Eric shrugged. "The ballroom was an unorganized jumble, crap I still need to ask about cordinia, and the neo attack was just a few berserkers and a boss,"

"When you're raised around the arena you'll love the thrill of combat," Eric said.

Kirune lost interested and began warming herself by the fire.
