Cordinia glared at namine. "Don't just stand there gawking like some common lummox! Get some drinks or something," she said stressfully. She tugged at her collar. This could go two ways. Either he's alive and waking up fine or he's convulsing in pain subconsciously. I'm not 100% sure when these light and darkness elements are thrown in. To many variables, she thought. She stood up.
"Actually, just stay here. I'm going to go get someone with more expertise in this than I," she said sprinting down the stairs. She ran out the door to yogtz's house.

Leopold didn't stir from his half drunken slumber. Patricia was nowhere to be seen.

Eric rolled over and opened one of his eyes. He saw namine. He could only release a groan as he turned away from her. This hurts like hell. I deserve this don't I? For all I've done. What is it that I have done to deserve this? he thought. He coughed. "Am... I in hell?" He said weakly.

Yogtz opened his door. "hey cordinia. What's..." he was cut off by cordinia grabbing him and a medical bag and carrying him over to Eric's house. Yogtz struggled feebly against cordinia's strength.

Eric weakly pulled his hand away. He shivered and looked at namine. turncoats everywhere I go. Nobody I can... cordinia entered with yogtz on her shoulder. Eric smiled. I'd stand corrected if I could stand right now,

Cordinia set yogtz in the air and he hovered there with his bag. He tried to adjust his pom Pom. "Don't do that kupo! Do you have any idea how long it took me to get my pom Pom perfect kupo!?" he said angrily to
cordinia. Cordinia rolled her eyes.

"Sorry I ruined your beauty time to save our friend from death," she said sarcastically. Yogtz sighed and looked to namine.

"How long has he been out and how long has he been awake kupo?" he asked pulling a stethoscope out if the bag.

Yogtz sighed in relief. "I'll get to you as soon as possible cyan. Good thing I was dragged here now kupo. This is the best time to analyze how traumatic it was kupo. He seems to have burns over 70% of his body kupo. Were you guys spell training or something? Ugh. He's beat to hell kupo," he said examining Eric's skin.

Eric lay there motionless. His breathing shallow and quiet. Cordinia leaned against a wall and crossed her arms.

Yogtz sighed. "I knew this day would come eventually. I just didn't expect it to happen until much later kupo. He's always been a strange case psychologically. We should probably talk elsewhere lest something sets off his now vulnerable mind kupo," he said opening the door. He looked at Alex. "You can just stay here kupo. It's essentially become our infirmary anyway. Both of you just need rest kupo," he said floating downstairs.

Eric rolled over and stared at Alex.

Eric waited until everyone had left the room. He coughed. "Oi Alex. Are you still alive?" He said. His keychains fell to the ground next to his bed. "Damn. Could you pick those up for me? I don't have any feeling in my hands now because of that thing," he chuckled weakly. "I guess I deserve this,"

Meanwhile, downstairs in the living room of the fringe house. Leopold woke up to the sound of moogles and teenagers walking down the stairs. "och My head. I shouldn't have had that last drink," he said lurching upright and rubbing his eyes. "How long was I out?"
"About three hours I think," cordinia said. Leopold was surprised.
"What? Cordinia zlota?"
Cordinia grinned slightly. "Call me coriander uncle beardy,"
"You always had strange pet names for us when you and Eric were dating. So how long were you..."
"Since you passed out drunk,"
"As much as I'd hate to interrupt your little reunion, I need to know what the hell happened kupo. Only three people were involved. One is beat to hell, the other one has been abducted by a religious zealot," he looked to leopold. "that leaves you kupo. Please, tell us what happened kupo,"

Eric grinned. "Thank you," he looked away for a brief time. "You're a master right? Very precise with your blade?" He asked.

Eric laughed weakly. "Good. Because I need you to do something," he sighed deeply. "Kill me," he said plainly.
