paladine chuckles... ok... last two questions first as they are the easiest... i adopted kero... so in a way he is my son... and he calls me pop... as for as spank... remember when i told ye about how some people continually use tried and true methods of punishment? one method is to swat or spank the bottom of the offending child, using pain as a deterent for misdeeds.... i try my best not to use it... all it teaches the child is that the parent or guardian is bigger and stronger than the child... and that the child should obey because if he doesn't the bigger and stronger individual will get angry and hit him... not a good parenting form in my eye.. but it is effective... stops the behavior while the child is young and hopefully as he or she grows older they begin to understand why their behavior was wrong....

as for a volcano and earth shard... volcanoes are enormous natural forms... hot pools of melted rock deep beneath the surface of a world that find a way up through the cracks in the surface of the world and come boiling or bursting forth... a great deal of force is in those eruptions and the rock or magma is so hot when it boils forth it kills almost all who are in it's range... and an earth shard is a fragment of a planet that still supports life... hence kero is very very busy right now.... for a volcano has erupted on one of those populated shards killing a great number of people and he needs to sort out the souls...

as far as spanking ye... no... i don't believe i would... in fact i am quite certain i would never spank you... and although i don't believe it to be a proper form of punishment... there are many who do... for some a swift punishment given when nothing else seems to work is the only appropriate approach... you may say that there are those who think i'm lenient... but would you say you've learned something from the punishments i have given ye?

and yes... kero has several weaknesses... and as we are now considered kin... i won't go into most of them... but i will say this... he shares one with ye... he prefers to avoid darkness even as ye would...

and he calls me what he wills... daddy is but one form of endearment a child has for a male parent... there are many....

talesian's face grows grim... me da's gone awol... keva's actually gone on a diet... someone (he won't tell me who) called him tubby.... ma's sulking... and shia has locked herself in her room and won't come out... not sure what her problem is... so i'm kind of running the show right now... boy, who'd have thought da had that much influence on this place... but then he's been here day in and day out for eons now.... i guess everyone has gotten kind of dependent on his being there...
