Leora blinked at the other vampire. "Why do you want to know?" she asked, fiddling with the ring on her finger. She was starting to feel a bit of possesiveness towards Lance, and seeing this female vampire looking for him caused her to be on guard . . .

"Because he's my boyfriend." She answered matter-of-factly. "Why do you care to know?" She then asked glancing at the ring as if it were just some child's toy and not realizing much about Leora's and Lance's relationship.

Leora felt as though she'd just been punched in the stomach. "Your boyfriend?" she asked breathlessly with an incredulous tone. "I . . . I see . . ." she said, gaining control of herself. "W-well then you're obviously missing a bit of information but I'm his wife!" she said, standing up a bit straighter. Damnit, Lance was HERS. She wouldn't let anyone else have him.

"What are you talking about!" She growled, now glaring at Leora. "If he ever even had a wedding he would have invited me, and he would have at least called me to tell me we were breaking up. He's loved me for two years and he still does!" Her eyes flared red for a moment, how dare she claim that her Lance didn't love her.

Leora glared back at the girl. "Well apparantly he didn't because we had a marrage the day before yesterday and we came here for our honeymoon!" she growled, her eyes also turning red. She couldn't believe that Lance was in love with someone else. Not with what just happened last night. "But, if you want confirmation, then I'll lead you to him." she said and then turned to Melissa. "Sorry I can't continue our chat, um . . . maybe later okay?" she said with a bit of a smile and then started to lead the Vampire girl up to hers and Lance's room.

"Sure . . ." She said with a wave as Leora walked away.
"I'll show you Lance loves me." She said, following her into the elevator and waiting for it to get to whichever floor her beloved Lance was.'Stupid b***h . . .' She thought to herself, she was going to kick his a** if he was cheating on her.

Leora was having a hard time controling herself and not just attacking the girl right now. She ended up clenching and unclenching her fists as she waited for the elevator to reach the floor. When it finally did, Leora exited the elevator and headed straight to her room, pounding on the door. "Lance! Lance, open the door!" she said and then paused, embarrassed to say so in front of this stranger but . . . "I don't have my key!"

Lance stood up from the couch and turned off the television he had been watching with the remote before walking over to the door. When he opened the door he smiled at his wife. "Hey Leora, what happened with the werewolf?" He asked and looked over her shoulder to see the vampire girl. "Valery? What are you doing he- Oh,no . . ." He said, shaking his head and rubbing his middle and index fingers in circles on his temples.

Leora's eyes widened and she felt her heart start to break. "So you do know her . . ." she said and then nodded her head. "Okay . . . I get it. You never wanted to marry me anyways." she said as she pulled off her ring and threw it on the ground before running off, taking the stairs this time and running out of the hotel, running all the way to the beach. The tears fell as she sat down on the beach, the waves washing up around her feet. She felt horrible. How could she ever have believed that Lance loved her? Theirs was an arranged marriage after all . . . "Stupid . . . b*****d . . ." she sobbed out as she cried into her knees. She was still hopelessly in love with him. She should have known that he was just trying to be nice . . .

"Leora, wait -" He tried to say after she left. "s**t!" He cursed and kicked the door frame hard enough to create a crater before bending down, picking up Leora's ring and shoving Valery out of the way as he ran to the stairs and ran down at top speed, pushing the door at the lobby open and running to the beach hoping she would be there. He was extremely glad to see her there and ran over to her. "Leora, please, let me explain." He said, seeing her crying and feeling absolutely horrible. "Leora, I don't love Valery, I love you, and only you, with all my heart."

Leora looked up at Lance, glaring. "Then why didn't you ever TELL me about her! You knew we were going to have to get married but apparantly you forgot to break it off with your girlfriend and you never told me about her! Yes, I can absolutely trust that you love me!" she said, the last part coming out sarcastically, before she got to her feet and started to storm off down the beach.

Lance quickly followed her. "Please Leora, I did break up with Valery last year. I wrote her a letter, she must not have gotten it but I'm telling you, You're the only person in the world for me. I love you, I would do anything for you. I would travel the world to prove my love for you, please Leora, trust me." He practically begged her for her forgiveness. He stood in front of her to stop her from walking away and looked at her with apologetic eyes.

"I will." Lance said as he wrapped his arms around her with still the apologetic eyes. "Please stop crying Leora." He said as he wiped away the tears from her cheek and took her hand gently, placing the expensive ring on her finger. He had even had it engraved with their names on the other side of the ring from the diamond roses.

Leora wiped at her eyes with her free hand. "I-I'm t-trying . . ." she said, somehow unable to stop the stream of tears. Having him return the ring to her finger, made her feel loads better. The fact that he would bring it back to her helped restore some confidance for Lance. She wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his chest. The fact that he came after her as well . . . she was starting to gain more trust in him.
