Tam leads the way back to the cottage, carrying a sleepy little lioness. Hopian follows with Fortuny on his arm, the two of them enjoying the fact that someone else is in charge of their daughter for a change.

Tam nods and drops back to walk beside him. "You give yours first. I want to give him mine in private, if you don't mind." He smiles at Hopian and shrugs. "We've always kept our gift sharing private... don't know why, but we have."

Tam carefully adjusts the collar for him and tells him he looks mighty fine.

Tam shakes his head. "These are from Hopian... I have something else for you that ye'll get later, okay?"

Tam sits back and lets Hopian answer him. Having it come from his brother and another d. miner lion would mean far more than having it come from him.

"Wear it with pride, dulcha... " says Tam smiling. He stands up and stretches wide. "Now I'm for bed... my bed, for a change.... " he laughs and runs up the steps two at a time so that he can pull out the rest of Kero's presents. Compared to the grandeur of Hopian's gifts they were really rather small, and part of it he had already given him, the ring Kero never took off these days. But the match to it and the ear cuffs were special and he hoped he understood.

Tam hands him the small package and waits for him to open it. The ring, identical in looks to the first, is extremely valuable, capable of holding an enormous amount of magic. The ear clips are less so, but the protection spells he has placed on them should help the mage later in life, if he choses to wear them. Tam knows that the cat will recognize the value of the ring instantly, even should he not entirely grasp the importance of the clips. Imbued with his love, they will ward off almost all emotional attacks, and even those that make it through should not interfere too greatly. He prays they will help stabilize the fits of uncontrollable rage Kerobian is known to sink into.
