K. WIZ. CpainsorVio7 FFX was good but I couldn't stand FFX-2. Way to girly for my taste. can't agree more. and i guess it turns out that the people who made the tech demo remake of the opening movie to FF7 might actually remake FF7 for (i'm guessing) the ps3. At least, thats what my magazine had stated. Square said they wouldn't, but they might do it if they know what their fans want xd

actualyl i like final fatasy crystal cronicles. since i happen to have 3 gameboy advance sp's and i also have a few other gba used games (4swords, legend of zelda: windwaker, forget the other 2) it works fine for me. playing with multiple people is fun, tho i admit it is rather small. i kinda get the feeling that id go for a game modeled after FF:CC using legend of mana for psx, id be stuck on that game for months

I had people to play with, but I found it alot easier after I went a few areas through solo. Especially since every basic enemy in the game couldn't do more than 1/2 a heart of damage to me.

comfreak87 why does everyone like FFX? i did like it but, now i don't I liked it, although I didn't get how to use the sphere grid, or even half of the story line until close to the end of the storyline. This isn't to be confused with X-2, which was god awful. Where to begin on that, I hated the fact that it was so girl based, now I don't mind having three women being the main characters, but the fact that it was so fasion/beauty and music based it became unbarable to play. Then the fact that even though you couldn't change any character's name (at least not that I had seen in my time before I stopped playing it entirely) and they still reffered to Tidus as "him" or "You know who" really pissed me off. The only thing cool about X-2 is the even newer battle system it had, it was interesting to hit enemies multiple times before they could even finish one successful attack at you. okay. . . now that i've gone way off topic.... I liked FFX's new battle system in which you could put more thought into how you'll put your characters to use. Though it can get boring at times. Plus the fact that it was the first to include voice acting and movement on the character models. I would however like future games to be higher rated so they can include more swearing to fit the mood and more seriousness.

Here is what Electronic Gaming Monthly had to say about FFVII on the PS3,
"If you were cruising the internets throughout the week of E3, you probably read about Square Enix's hot-to-trot Final Fantasy VII tech demo, which was shown during Sony's preshow press conference to help convey the power of the PlayStation 3. Unfortunately, you probably also read how Square's president denied that the footage meant a remake of its colossal PS1 role-playing game was in the works.Put away the Kleenex, people; I've got it on very, very good authority that the company is indeed bringing a visually updated version of FFVII to PS3. Any other details? Well, Aerith still dies in this version, so maybe you should keep those tissues within arms reach. "
Now, if this is true, I would definatly buy it because (not to rag on the graphic capabilities of that time, or the game itself) I had FFVII on the PC and playing it caused major nausea (this isn't making fun of it, I seriously became nauseated after a short amount of time in game). Probably would have been better if I would played it on the PlayStation, but whatever, that was like five to six years ago and I at least completed it.
edit- watch me get chewed out by all FFVII lovers now, LOL.

They might actually do the whole version of FF7, whereas Aerith was supposed to come back, but I doubt it, i think it's good the way it is.

Final fantasy bores me. I've beaten all the ones I own so many times it's just... not worth playing more than once through every year, just to slowly perfect my runs.
I'm just really bored with not having anything to do sad
