Lawrence put a Hand to his chin. well, I Guess bait isn't really necessary. The fish could mistake the aglet for a worm or something. Ah! I've got it, he thought. He tuned back to namine. "Oi nami! Do you have an extra bobby pin I could use?" he shouted from the shore.

Eric continued watching the sunset.

Lawrence took the pin. "thanks," he said bending it into a hook shape and tied the shoelace line around it. Lets hope they're biting at night, he thought as he cast out.

Eric stood up and brushed sand off himself. "Want to head back to the fire?" He asked kirune.

Eric took kirune's hand and smiled as he began walking back toward the fire.

"Hold on peppermint. Ill have dinner for you in a minute," Lawrence said. He felt a tug on the line. He quickly pulled back the pole and a fish was flung onto the shore. Lawrence examined it by the firelight. "Nope. It's not a heartless," he said tossing the fish at peppermint's feet.

Lawrence shook his head. "i totally spaced that. Thank for reminding me," he said retrieving the fish. He began scaling it with his key blade. sure my sword will smell for a week, but heartless don't have noses, he thought.

Eric arrived at the fire once again. "What'd we miss?" He asked.
Lawrence chuckled. "i just caught a fish with a shoelace and a bobby pin," he boasted.
Eric chuckled. " a resourceful waste of resources. You could've just used your blade to sharpen a stick and go spear fishing,"
"Have you tried spear fishing in pitch darkness?"
"It's not what we were taught in the committee,"
"Bah! Committee schmomittee. I got what I needed and that's all that matters now. The committee taught us to use our surroundings to our advantage,"
"Only you needed to be taught that city boy. My hometown was basically all woodlands until the arena came in,"
"braggart," Lawrence said lopping the head off the fish.

Eric chuckled. "Looks like we came back just in time for the end," he said looking at the now sleeping namine. He grabbed a couple sticks and some marshmallows and gave one to kirune.

Lawrence deboned and split the fish. He gave one half to peppermint and began roasting the other over the fire. Eric glanced at him weirdly.
"What? I didn't have lunch today,"
"You mean you lost it on the flight over?"
"You were driving," Lawrence replied.

Eric looked at kirune confused. Isn't she a southerner? She's never roasted a marshmallow before? he thought. "Oh, you hold the stick over the fire until the marshmallow turns brown. Then it becomes gooey and delicious,"
"You'd think a redneck like her would know how to roast a marshmallow," Lawrence mumbled. Eric glared at him.
"Do you have a death wish Lawrence?"

Lawrence rubbed the back of his head. "owwww. I deserved that,"
Eric chuckled.

Eric couldn't help but chuckle. He nearly fell off the log they were sitting on because he was laying so hard.

"I'm sorry. Please don't kill me," he said.
"You're legitimately afraid of her?"
