Jacie straightened up and walked down the center of the staircase and over to the door. "Can I help you, sir?" Jacie asked as she stood in the center of the open door.

Marcus stood behind her and looked at the man who was pretty familiar as well but he couldn't remember. He just stood off to the side and stayed silent. Marshall looked at the girl and smiled " Ah yes. " he said " I was wondering Is Lylla Miller home?" he asked the girl with blue hair and then stopped and got a bit closer " Little Legend?" he said and smiled " You must be...Little Legend..do you remember me?" he asked " Its Marshall, Marshall west." he said.

Marshall smiled and hugged her back " Man you've grown up so much since I last say you...when I saw you last you were just a child..now look a you..closer to be a full grown woman." he said with a smiled. He smiled " I'm on vacation actually...I decided to spend awhile here." he said " I decided to to come see my old partner and the Little Legend...oh its good to see you..how's yuor mother?" he asked with with a smile.

"Jacie? Who's at the door?" Lylla came striding down the marble staircase with her same cold demeanor, until she saw Marshall. Her face instantly went from stone cold to utterly surprised. She blinked a few times to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Then, a small smile stretched across her face. "Marshall!" Lylla wanted to say more but for some reason couldn't find the words.
Jacie turned around and put her hands on Marcus' chest and gently pushed him back a few steps. "Let's leave them alone." Jacie wasn't only talking to Marcus, but every other maid who was watching Marshall and Lylla from around the corners of doorways. At the hinted warning, the faces of the maids poked back around the corner, careful to obey the young lady and to not anger the mistress.

Marcus nodded and walked off with Jacie to leave Marshall and Lylla to their business as he went upstairs and followed her. He wondered why exactly they had to leave it seemed heartwarming. Once far enough he looked at Jacie " Why did we have to leave?" he asked " I mean I'm sure you missed him too." he said. Marshall came inside and closed the door gently as he looked up " Lylla...Its been forever.' he said and walked over to her where he hugged her and smiled " How have you been..its been forever..I missed you." he said " Has everything been going well, you've certainly grown up more." he said. Marshall and Lylla were the best of friends when they belonged to the same department and probably the best police team ever as no case had even gone unsolved with them working together but they had to split up for unknown reasons

Instead of taking a right at the top of the staircase like she normally would, Jacie took a left and walked through an archway into a huge living room lined on one wall with french windows. "You see, Marshall and Lylla were the best team on the force way back when. And when they had to split up, Lylla fell apart. I remember she was so sad and angry for the first few weeks."
Lylla happily hugged him back and took in the scent of his cologne as she did so. Same old Marshall. "Oh Marshall I've missed you too. And no, things aren't going so well." Lylla said before explaining to Marshall what had happened in the past years.

Marcus nodded and smiled " Ohh isn't that sweet." he said " How come they had to separate...I don't think any police force would want to rid themselves of such a great team...was it jealousy or something?" he asked Marshall looked at her " Wow..thats rather depressing...I wish I could have been there for you but unfortunately for whatever reason I wasn't allowed to visit. " he said " But hey as long as I'm in town there's no reason to allow that to effect anything..I mean I know your still working an all but that still shouldn't prevent us from catching up like the good ol' days." he said and smiled.

And with Lylla I tend not to go sticking my nose where it doesn't belong." Jacie grabbed the nearest throw pillow and set it across her lap after she'd crossed her legs.
"I've actually taking these next few weeks off. I've been working non-stop since they separated us so I've accumulated quite a few vacation days." Lylla admitted with a pathetic little smile.

Marcus sat down next to her " I don't blame you." he said and smiled " Oh well...maybe she'll lighten up with her friend here." he said and smiled " Still I did sense a lot of relief and happiness when she saw him." he said Marshall smiled " So have I..I'm only using two months of it though." he said " And besides it'll be good to spend some time with my best friend." he said " Though you didn't have to to sad when I left..I promised I would return one day right?" he said and smiled. He nodded " Besides..life seems peaceful enough." he said.

Lylla let out a slight chuckle. "Define peaceful." Lylla laughed and the started slowly walking towards the patio doors on the west side of the house.

Marcus laughed " Naw I get how they feel." he said. He really did as there were times he had to wait years before the next dimensions crystal materialized and he could enter for his next attempt to save Jacie. It was strange why saving her failed so many times but now maybe he could change it and hopefully not have to wait for such a long time. Marshall smiled and followed "Well your home hasn't been attacked since I got here Lylla." he said. He shrugged " This place seems like it hasn't been touched at all...not by the kinds of thing we used to deal with." he said. He shrugged "You have a wonderful home...and its a good thing its away from the city..its certainly changed it ten years." he said " If I didn't have to deal with Team Omni on a constant basis I would move back..that and the fact I would executed for having Pokemon." he said. His tone was rather light hearted and happy despite what he had just said beacuse to him it wasn't serious.

Marcus looked at her " That I can not tell you..mostly beacuse I can't remember anything and secondly beacuse I can't." he said and shrugged. Marshall chuckled " Of course not." he said and smiled " But I'll have to go to the city..I'm staying in a hotel anyway.' he said and looked at her " Wait did you say force field...I didn't notice that when I came in." he said.

"Exactly." Lylla smirked and then curled and uncurled her index finger on her left hand. "Come here. I want to show you something." Lylla led Marshall over to the opposite side of the house where a lone bookshelf stood in one of the many halls. Lylla ran her fingers across the books as if she was typing in a code. But she did it so gracefully and discretely that not even she noticed the movement of her hands. Soon the bookshelf shuddered and started to slowly slide to the left. A smile stretched across Lylla's face as she slipped into the sealed room. Inside sat many glowing computer screens and monitors with visuals from every angle of the house, inside and out. Lylla rested her hand on the wall and soon a scanner came up and outlined her hand in blue. After the scanner had flashed green, a keyboard appeared as if from nowhere in front of the middle screen which just so happened to be the biggest. Lylla tapped the blank touch keys with her finger tips and soon a digital diagram of the force-field came up on the screen, showing every little detail of it. "After you left I didn't feel safe any longer. So I worked for a year on this design. This force-field is designed to erase all signals from any scanners, tracers, and weaponry. If someone flies over us, their monitors won't detect that there's a house down here. And if they try to attack manually, the force-field diverts the weapon fire away from the house and right back at the source of the attack." Lylla smirked as she showed digital visuals of what she was describing on the screen.
