April wrapped her little arms around Kaze when he took her into his arms, smiling brightly at him.
"Looks like you have a knack with children Kaze." Silver said smiling.

"I can tell by the look on your face that you love the new paint job." Darious smiled as he causally walked out of Helios' shadow. He laughed a little. He knew Helios would kill him; that's why he and Dark made sure they knew what they were doing when it came to their 'backup plan'. "We worked hard on it, I think you should keep it."
"I don't see what you're worried about. I was asleep all night on the ground, what's a couple of more hours? Besides, I tired." Vaati answered with a yawn. He figured if he fell asleep, they would have to stay longer.
Alyssa started mopping under the tables in the main room. She wasn't used to work yet, but she knew they would be happy. "How are you doing in there?"

"I'm about done with the kitchen." Zathier said as he was backing up out of the kitchen, mopping the parts he had stepped on as he continued moving away from the wet areas. "Where should I mop next?" He asked as he finished up the last bit of the kitchen and turned to see how Alyssa was fairing.

"Over by the stairs. It's the only spot I've haven't mopped yet." She answers and pointed over the stairs. "Then we have to dust."

"Alright." Zathier said and walked over to the stairs. He, once again, began swiping the mop back and forth as he slowly back up from the wet areas.

Alyssa finished up quickly and stood on top of the table to get to the chair while the wet areas dried. The floors looked pretty decent. After they did the dusting, the old couple would be awake for the surprise.

Zathier finished mopping the stairs and walked towards Alyssa, but stayed out of the kitchen. "Alright, stairs are done, now we just need to dust." He said eagerly.

Alyssa took out two clothes and tossed one to Zathier. "I think we're almost done now." She said as she started to wiped the dust off their vase.

Opal looked down at Vaati, wondering how to convince him to return home. She was like the passing wind, and not many people cared if she went missing. And she was sure they wouldn't be too worried about Vaati either.
April suddenly leaned against Kaze's shoulder, suddenly dropping off into a sleep.

Zathier began dusting off the furniture one piece at a time. "It looks like it." He said as he finished cleaning off the last bit of furniture.

"It's just nicer here than it is in the inn. If they want me there, they'll have to drag me back. Key word is 'if'." Vaati murmured, almost happily.
Alyssa wiped the table down. She collected the cloths. She heard footsteps and smiled when she was the old man walking down the stairs. He was a slow walker with a slightly hunched back and a small amount of grey hair on his head. "Good morning-"
"You can call me Grandpa, dear. You are living here aren't you? Wow, I don't think I ever seen the floors so clean..."

"It's because your finally outside... is that why you want to stay?" Opal said, caving in. She didn't want to drag Vaati back if he wanted to stay here. If he felt happier lying on the ground, she decided she couldn't stop him.

"I just feel rebellious outside. If anyone else had their way, I would be inside. That's great and all, but it's boring. At least outside, I can feel the wind I control." Vaati muttered as he let the wind warp around his arm.
'Grandpa' chuckled. "We appreciate it. It would have taken us a while to do that. What's your name?" He asked as he held out a shaky hand to Zathier.
