He is suddenly faced with a large serpent like dragon who is very very angry.


"In all the time I have known you, Kerobian, you have never threatened to kill me. How dare you, you ungrateful little brat." rumbles the dragon and it takes to the air before he can react. As it flies off it says loudly in a voice like thunder. "Hopian hear my call, come fetch your unruly sibling er it goes astray." then just as quickly it fades away, leaving him sitting there with his ears ringing.

Lyssan smiles at him and laughs. "I'm a god, silly... I can summon anyone I need... think about it, besides.. ye told me how to do it when I first started watching him as Luciel... ages ago and far away it seems.... Just haven't had to do it. Ye were usually around when he acted up before... and what the hell happened to you?" she demands catching them both as his wings give out.

"Because, Mr. I have to set the world right and no one can to it for me threatened to kill me if I didn't let him help me settle things here." says the dragon, setting them both back down on the earth and coming to a landing nearby. She glares at Kerkobian and shakes her head. "Don't tell Tam that though... I don't think it will make him very happy."

The dragon stares down at him, knowing full well the apology was forced and far from freely given. "I'll come to ye as soon as I find out anything, I promise ye, Kerobian. In the meantime, think on this... only fools rush in when they do not know all the facts and yer no fool... so slow down and start thinking, cat, before ye use up all nine lives already..." Then she nods farewell to the two lions and takes to the air, leaving Kero in Hopian's care.

After a bit, the cottage door opens and in rushes Tam, a cloak tossed across his wings, making him look like some deformed cripple. His face is frantic and he is out of breath. "Where is he? Where.... is he ok? Sweet Lady, if anything happened to him, I'll never forgive myself."

Tam's eyes grow hard, but he nods and helps Hopian back to bed. "I'm sure she didn't know you were injured, Hope.... do you need a pain killer or something to help you sleep better? I could put some more ointment on yer burns iffin ye like." He offers reaching for the jar.

Tam nods, though this is not something he is looking forward to doing. Finally he goes into the kitchen and washes his hands at the sink, not saying a word to the cub. Then he brews himself some tea and then and only then, once he has a cup in his hands, he sits down at the table and sighs heavily.

"Let me get this straight. You threatened kill someone... never mind the fact that she's a powerful god in her own right... never mind that she is my mother... never mind that she'd go to hell and back fer ye... ye threatened her... whatever the hell did ye do that, Kerobian... And where the hell were ye... don't say ye were out romping in the woods... cause ye weren't... that was the first place I looked.... don't say ye weren't at the temple... cause ye weren't there either... Ye just up and disappeared... I've been tearing the whole village apart... and the region for miles around... and ye were nowhere in sight... sound.... or heart..."

Tam's gaze narrows and he takes a sip of his tea. "Would you care to tell me why you would threaten to kill my mother, Kerobian... I happen to be very fond of her myself... even if she is a little eccentric at times."
