NO! I am not a perv!
I read Yaoi cause... it's just... words cannot describe what yaoi is. Oh, yes they can; hot, steamy, sexy, perfect. I am not a perv if I read this type of manga by the way.
I think there is more romance in it. We are not pervs if we read something because we like it. In some cases we are but with yaoi, shotacon, and shounen ai, we are not pervs.

the slashing and shipping definitely makes one a pervert
however, being simply fan is not being a pervert because yaoi/shonen-ai stories are (supposed to be stare ) about the romance and the sex is (supposed to be stare ) an extra topping
(the excuse one uses when a non-yaoi supporter says yaoi fans are pervs)
