Takumi’s feeling of mild joy was short-lived as the Arashikage himself hit the field. While her time spent basking in the light of the destruction of The Spire came to a sudden halt, the ground around her began to shake, forcing her to shield her eyes with her arm and duck her head from the dust and debris. When she turned back, there was actual surprise on the woman’s face as the very ground that composed Arashi had been ripped asunder, floating in the space as segments of earth. “It seems the king has been put into play.” She stated before turning to face Tabe, who Takumi just noticed was no longer standing at her side, as they were now on separate blocks of earth.
That was fine. Takumi didn’t work well with others, as she preferred her own methods to combat. Aside from Mr. Meowgi anyway. The black cat hopped from the woman’s shoulder before transforming into an identical clone of the woman. [Beast Clone Technique] As the two stood there, Takumi and Mr. Meowgi readied themselves for whatever absurdity Toso was manifesting. So when the tendrils of Arashikage started to flail about they were able to spring into action. First Mr. Meowgi and Takumi flicked their wrists, sliding one sword of bone from one palm each. They jumped forward, flying through the air with their backs to each other, their flight path bringing them in harm’s way of Arashi’s defenses. Both of them made a swipe at the constructs with their bone swords as they flew, cutting into them enough to go through the veins of concrete and destruction. Takumi and her cloned pet would land on the same plot of land as Toso, the swords in their hands dissolving to dust from the impact of their slashes. “Tosokurui Ashi-Hojo.” Takumi greeted the man politely, as if they were long time acquaintances. “I am relieved that you’re the one that came out to face us.” She took a step to her clone, scratching her fingers along its jaw. The clone Takumi simply smiled and nuzzled into her hand. “I’m rather fond of cats, you see. But squids? Squids will be the first to go when I become a god. And for that, I have my role to play, as do you.” Takumi took steps towards Toso, unassuming or uncaring about his mental state. “Do not try to stop me, child. You could sooner divert a river from its course then deny me my nature.”
Takumi made a single, blurring step, appearing in front of Toso and reaching out to grab his neck and hold him. Upon doing so, she’d weave her chakra from her fingertips to create a tattoo of wings on either side of his neck. Tabe's answer to Takumi's question as they had arrived at the building was simple....."No....I don't like being in the air much anyways...." She said to her. Tabe's confusion grew as Takumi spoke of some story from the west. She wasn't particularly...smart in understanding the meanings of Takumi's ramblings, however it was understood enough that she could tell at least that the meaning behind it was involved in the reason she already knew she was here for. Tabe simply nodded, still confused but not wanting to distract the woman from her concentration as the attack went for the spire. However much to Tabe's surprise, as the attack hit and the building should have crumbled....it did....sort of? From what she could tell it was almost more like it was coming apart and acting on it's own. Even the ground came apart into a bunch of different chunks floating in the air.
Tabe would weakly defend herself by quickly channeling her chakra through and out of her body and into a lightning armor. Digging her fingers into the ground below to stop herself from being pushed off, and not taking damage due to the lightning armor. However she was not in a good position at all, vomiting a combination of stomach acid, chunks of flesh, and blood due to her last meal. As her stomach emptied something changed though, she stood straight...the veins around her eyes becoming visible and her normally heterochronic eyes turning a white color. "Food....wasted...." She said, seemingly fine but different now. She knew the others would launch an attack of some sort on Takumi likely, and Tabe would wait positioned to interact to anything she needed to. Takumi could deal with the Kage she was sure, so Tabe would deal with the other two that were here.
SHIONxxxxxMORI Saiken's words shook Shion to her very core. Kill Toso; how could she? No, never; they'd gone through too much together. Time and time again, the pair had been to death's door, and each time they'd come back. This would just be another one of those trips. Shion's rage boiled up within her, stoking the embers of her ever-burning ire. Shion, we may have to-" Matatabi suddenly found herself being cut off by her host. "You touch one hair on his head, and I'll kill you." The words were spoken allowed, though the Nibi knew they werent only directed at the intruders. Of course, she also knew that Shion couldn't kill her, but the girl had always been prone to her fits of passion; for all the Bijuu knew, Shion would very well try to kill Matatabi, even if it took her own life in the process.
Around her, Shion's world was falling apart. The tower cracked and tumbled out of existence, replaced by a swirling maelstrom of floating islands of debris. Into the storm, she plummeted, sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss. Then, mid fall, a pair of sparks erupted from Shion's hands. Black flames erupted forth, rocketing the girl onto the nearest falling plot of 'land.' The moment her feet touched down, she rocketed off again, and again, and again climbing the shattered tower on a war path leading directly to this intruder, this zealot. The flames spread over her body, wrapping up her arms and across her body, tailing off into a pair of burning twin tails. The closer she grew, the more the cloak grew to resemble a person, rather than a shapeless mass of flames. Finally, as she neared Takumi, the full might of her perfected form was visible to the world. The flames had formed a jacket draped over her shoulders like a cape, atop her head sat a peaked cap, a pair of flickering cat ears peaking through the top, and roaring flames wrapped around her fists to form a set of knuckles.
One island now stood between Shion and the invader. Rather than land on her feet, however, Shion bit into her thumb, slamming it into the island as she landed on her hands. Pushing off to continue her assault, Shion was momentarily shrouded in a blast of smoke. From the cover, two mighty beasts erupted: one, Shion, and the other, a lion of titanic proportions; Inkunzi, Lord of the Wild Cats had joined the fight.
In what seemed like the span of a single breath, Shion halted her advance. But just as her enemy would begin to feel safe, the pair of cats would erupt into a chorus of roaring. While nothing would seemingly happen to the King himself, a flash of silver sparked rippled around Shion, forming a second cloak of energy that coursed its way around her in random patterns [Meltdown]. Then, in another flash, she was off, this time with all the speed of a bat out of hell. Similarly, Hajime and Nozomi, should she choose to stay in the fight, would feel their spirits lift and be filled with the same boost of speed.
The stage was now set and mere feet divided the two. Shion was upon her enemy. While she could not stop the sealing tattoos, Shion easily swatted away the sword blow with a simple backhand, a blast of bakuton chakra blowing the blade away from the Squid. [1 charge of Meltdown used. 4 remaining] As Shion deflected the blow, The King of Cats would crash down onto Takumi with a mighty swipe of his paw [Freestyle: Tai: S+]. Not to give the cultist a moment of respite, Shion would follow up with a downward spiraling kick. As she decended, Shion's foot would turn into a brilliantly deadly pillar of flames, threatening to consume the Jashinist scum [Spirit Fire Collapse [ Reihi Hōkai ].
These cultists thought they were here to bring hell upon Arashi; how mistaken they were. Hell had been here the whole time. And now, it was coming for them.

Still sporting his steampunkish pilots outfit and his luminescent visage did Toso slowly lower his commanding arm in a 'whats done is done fashion'. The route for Arashi to eventually crash into the ocean was set, the only thing biding its time was the distance between the desert and the inevitable waters. When that time came, the people could make their desperate attempts to save themsleves by jumping off like the lemmings they all were...however offering that grace of escape even when his head was set on hopeless nihilism was a sign that a semblance of himself still resided within. His attention would shift when the sound of collisions between his friend and the jashinist occurred. He'd turn his head slowly to watch the two locked in their exchanges.
"Face you? Am I supposed to care about who you even are?" there was no more biting string of words that Toso could have composed to accentuate just how irrelevant Takumi's words were to him. Did she think she cared about how she felt about squids about 'stopping her',please. She was just as inconsequential and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things just as everyone else was...and Shion. Did she want encouragement? Appreciation? "Honestly Moro. Why do you even care at this point? there was no Shio-nee or first name friendliness. The Arashikage merely shrugged shook his head smugly, and then looked to the expansive horizon of the moving village. "Everything is just a lost cause in the end why struggle." Toso was just smugly if not arrogantly standing atop his imaginary pedestal as Takumi and her were exchanging likely with sparks flying in the process. Were they even paying attention to what he was saying? If they weren't, ha, that didn't matter either. Nothing did but if anything, even when embracing pure morbid nihilism the Arashikage was an always would be a windbag.
"A god. Even that has nary a point. Once you've achieved that, where do you go from there? Getting everything you want? You'll find it gets boring real quick. Yes, those who crave godhood. They are unloved. So they make it so others are made to love them. They fear death so they seek to find deathlessness. From the confines of his sleeves something did slowly creep out, something, a staff? On closer inspection it was a cue, one typically used in billiards, an ornate handcrafted raven head at its end. "This burning world, from another perspective...is as lovely as a setting sun making way for the eternal night." it was clear that the Arashikage needed one of those snap out of it moments to be any kind of useful but for the most part had it not been for Shion, the sitting duck he currently was would have been shot already. Although attempts to help the squidman were hardly appreciated. If he died now he'd die hopeless, ambitionless, and in no artful or passionate way. A contrast to what Toso always seemed to portray before this final straw of unfortunate happenstances broke him. Amidst the budding cacophony of chaos was the gentle ringing of bells and a heavy sigh. From the foot of the rubble that was once the Arashikage's tower, a green haired male with crimson eyes watched the destruction that occurred within seconds. First, the sudden shifting of the massive floating land Arashigakure was built on before anything of true note had yet to happen. It was jarring. He had not thought it possible that the Arashikage's defense could be breached so quietly. Then, following that, the actual destruction of the tower, a matter that concerned him further, made him think deeper. Though, in the end, the conclusion he reached was that he had too little to reach a conclusion.
He did not smile, tired as he was. Not with this. No, with a smile of his strength, this turn of events alone was not enough. There were other reasons, but such were hidden, as much as this shinobi was, and so, it would seem as if this tip of the iceberg had been the reason why. It was a good reason, after all. A visit done in great haste out of great concern for a friend turned into bearing surprised witness to a sudden attack on the second village she had promised herself to protect.
However, no matter what burdens he bore, it was of little matter to those he wished to meet and not at all to those who attacked. The sigh was quickly replaced with a soft smile and, as a testament to the weight of apathy within words he heard and the figure he saw several stories above him, Kagerou's form shifted. The masculine mask morphed into the familiar feminine features she had been so keen to avoid and as Toso monologued. [Endless Masquerade C]
Then, that one face in the crowd of onlookers oh so distant and unimportant was gone. Out of the many techniques being cast by the shinobi desperately trying to respond to a devastating attack with no orders from the top, there was one that was cast for Kagerou to disappear and the reappear besides Toso. If, and hopefully it is so, Kagerou successfully reached Toso, she'd speak to him out of concern for his lack of the battle before him. "Tosokurui Ashi Hojo," the voice, unfamiliar in its low tones yet familiar in the ever smiling lilt it was spoken with sounded from besides the Arashikage. An airy tone that was yet all business, hiding the small agitation felt underneath, the flashbacks to an Aburame that she would always be reminded of upon seeing the Hojo. As she looked upon him now, it was all the more stronger. The most important difference between than and now, however, was that one event happened in the safety of a quiet bedroom. This event, however, happened upon a battlefield. Words said must be worth their weight in blood, and what was more, she could only hear clearly the last few sentences. The rest, even with her keen ears, had been vague feelings with the occasional legible word from the distance she heard them at. "Fire is also the element of rebirth," Kagerou tried as she looked watchfully over at those who would harm Toso. Their faces, she did not recognize. Their intentions, she wondered what they were. All the while, she talked in a voice that lilted ever so slightly, "This demolished tower can be rebuilt into something new, something different, and all because it had been destroyed in the first place. The same can be said of the relationship between parent and child."
She breathed in.
"Toso," she would be honest with him regarding her intentions, "I've noticed the village is sinking, and yet you stand here doing nothing... Can you stop it? Can you reset its course back into the skies? If you can, I implore you to do so. Please. I believe in you, and... I do not wish to see the city nor the individual I've so quietly admired go down like this."

Kiritani Hidden Technique: Endless Masquerade C [Learned] Type: Iryojutsu - Situational Element: n/a In short, a very physical and real version of Henge no Jutsu. Derived from Ningeniro [Human Color], Endless Masquerade changes the physical shape and form of the body down to the even the cellular level. Endless Masquerade can change virtually any physical aspect of the target: color (any shade, natural or not), gender, age, sizes, and even off-the-wall characteristics like smell and taste. It is, however, limited by the limits of what the standard human body can handle, which are outlined below. Barring certain genetic exemptions, such as the Akimichi, experimenting with Endless Masquerade has revealed that attempting extreme size changes with this technique leads to not only malfunctioning body parts but also severe bodily harm in extreme cases. Becoming a giant, it is not only impossible for the human body, even under the influence of ninja magic, to safely create enough matter to support such growth, but the circulatory and nervous systems cannot keep up with the sudden change in size. On the opposite end of the spectrum, trying to alter the body to anything smaller than 3' or so not only squeezes the inner anatomy of the body, which cannot be made to reduce in time, but also has a high chance of further complications arising when the target reverts back to his original size. All in all, the safe limits of Endless Masquerade tend to hover between approximately 3' and 7' of height and their respective underweight and overweight weights. Proportions between body parts need to be kept within reason, being able to border on but not cross into "abomination" territory. Because of the delicacy of this technique, even if it can be executed in a timely and easy manner with enough practice, the target of Endless Masquerade must be willing for Endless Masquerade to take effect.

This technique allows the item to be moved to a target location by utilizing both offensive activations the user has. In addition, the user must have knowledge of the location they are dropping the item at.

As she held Toso up by his neck, the winged tattoo formed along his skin originating from Takumi’s finger tips. The Jashinist was mere moments from completing the objective she’d come for before newcomers entered the fray. A light shone in Takumi’s bored expression, as the bloodrush of destruction slowly started to set her soul ablaze. She could feel Arashi falling, plummeting to the ground below, but it only began to excite her more. “You talk as if from experience, Kage.” Takumi held Toso close, her red and black eyes boring into his as she held him. “And yet you know nothing. You hide up here, secluded in your ivory tower and watch the world as it either leaves you, or falls around you. You are merely mortal, and a failure at that. Your words are as empty as your title. All hail Toso, the Kage of no-one.”
Before she could go for the blow was when Shion came crashing down. Takumi shifted her gaze up to the demon host as she came down, a look of mild irritation on her face. Like a parent who was being disturbed by their child. She sent a wave of chakra out to Shion, sensing her capabilities in a glance. [Takumi Actions: Clarity of the Beast S+, Brawler’s Nature A Rank] Additionally, as he stood off to the side, Mr. Meowgi slammed his transformed hand to the ground after a string of handseals. Just as easily as the Cat King was summoned he would be unsummoned, sent back to the Wildlands, never to return for the remainder of the fight before he crashed onto Takumi. [Mr. Meowgi Action: Summon Sealing] This allowed Takumi to focus her attention to Shion as the girl came down with a spinning kick. The woman let go of Toso’s throat just as the kick landed square into the side of her head, the momentum of the fall and the kick having Shion and Takumi travel the same distance away from Toso. Once the flames faded, Takumi was revealed to merely be looking at Shion with unwavering eye contact, unbothered by the flames and power of the technique as a plating of bone covered that half of her face.
“Oh child.” Takumi spoke like a mother who caught their daughter making a foolish mistake. “You really mustn’t interrupt the adults when they’re speaking.” In the blink of an eye the Jashinist’s body exploded out into razor sharp bone, like a sea urchin, to stab out into Shion with all the speed she had attacked with. [Takumi Activation x2 Dance of the Larch: Absolute Defense S+ Complex] Dodged, blocked, or hit by, it didn’t matter to Takumi. The woman reached into her pocket and pulled out a small, blood red crystal. “Your turn will come soon enough, Lord Jashin will see to that.” Takumi made one handseal with a single hand, focusing on the tattoo she’d placed on Toso’s neck. It was time to extract the power she needed, that once belonged to her true god. Crimson electricity would form around Toso’s body, originating from the wings of hubris Takumi had placed on him, as she drew out the negative energy of Saiken. Once done, Takumi would turn her undivided attention to Shion. “Tabe.” She called out to her compatriot. “Kill them both, the failure and the green haired interloper. Make sure you eat your fill.” Takumi started to take steps towards Shion, Mr. Meowgi followed in line with her as they coldly stared down the girl. As Takumi moved, once again she formed a handseal, her chakra molding into a dragon of blood that spiraled around her body. “I hope you are still impatient, child. Blood Art: Blood Dragon Missile!” As it finished forming, the blood dragon let out a roar before launching at Shion, just the sight of the blood alone would inflict Tier 3 Mental Stress! Mr. Meowgi focused his own chakra and then snapped his fingers. The tattoos on his transformed body rose up from his skin and surrounded him, Takumi, and Shion within the blink of an eye. While they would take the form of a slowly rotating ring of thorns, anyone that tried to enter or exit the ring would find an invisible barrier keeping them in or out from any direction. [Mr. Meowgi Actions: Sealing: Bird’s Nest x3] Another effort of will, and another tattoo would rise from his body, forming as a massive bundle of dynamite in the air at the very top of the dome. It would hiss for just a moment before exploding, raining down explosive tags all around the three fighters. [Mr. Meowgi Action: Heavenly Rising Dragons: Hellfire S+ Complex] As hell itself rained down, the transformed cat would grip it’s bone sword in hand and rush down Shion, taking a devastating swipe at her with the weapon! ▰ Clarity of the Beast [ Kemono no Tōmei-do ] | Rank S+ (Not an Attack) Allows the user to select one target and analyze them for demon chakra. If the target has demon chakra then the user is able to understand and comprehend the demon in its entirety. Furthermore, any passive increases the demon provides are null and void when used against the user. This technique last for eight post.

▰ Brawler's Nature [ Buraurā no seishitsu ] | Rank A (Not an Attack) The user is able to determine precisely what the opponent's stats are. In addition, they may ignore all of the opponent's stats for four posts.
Third Action:
▰ Dance of the Larch: Absolute Defense | Rank S+ | Complex (Defensive) This is a supplemental technique. The user first prepares themselves by channeling chakra throughout all of their bones. Then, when the user is struck with a tai or bukijutsu technique, the user is able to have a plate of bones first protect the area which was struck equal rank to the strike provided. Then, the user launches a counter attack, which converts the opponent’s strength stat which they used the technique into the speed of which the bone blades rise out of the user to impale the target. Can only be used up to the rank the user has access to. Cost one activation to block the strike, and another to launch the counter strike. If the user only has one activation left, then the block will occur, but not the counter attack. If the user has no activations left, then this ability does not work. At E-C rank the technique increases endurance by [1] and at B-S+ rank the technique increases endurance by [2]. This stance lasts for 6 posts.

▰ Chakra Negation Seal [ Chakura Hitei Shīru ] | Rank S+ (While this is being used as a technique, stopping this technique does not stop the draining of Saiken's energy; this is here to explain how it is being taken, and the effects of the jutsu itself can be stopped. The Saiken energy is merely a narrative thing) [Not an Attack on Shion] After making contact with a target with the Seal of O Inari the user forms a hand sign, expeling chakra into the target's tattoo. The target is unable to utilize chakra for the next eight posts at base rank and an additional two posts per rank for each additional rank applied. In order to break this effect, the target must find a way to remove the tattoo from their body or utilize chakra greater than the strength of this technique in order to end the effect on the post it is applied.
Sixth Action:
▰ Water Dragon Projectile Technique [ Suiryuudan no Jutsu ] | Rank B [Attack on Shion] The Shinobi does a long string of hand seals which then causes a [40] foot column of water in the form of a dragon to strike their target. This dragon carries a significant amount of momentum and will knock back a target [20] feet on impact. The dragon can perform basic combat biting techniques with an equivalent chakra cost paid by the caster. A D-Rank amount of chakra is used per post in upkeep if the dragon is sustained. Up to three additional suiton techniques can be cast through the dragon as its "breath" for one rank less in cost.
▱▰▱ Blood Magic | The user's ninjutsu are able to be converted into blood that assumes the same size and shape as the ninjutsu used to create it. If the ninjutsu had an effect such as burning, burns, paralysis, etc, that effect is still in effect as the blood acts in a similar fashion to the original technique. After being cast, this blood remains active upon the battlefield. In addition, the sight of blood in such masses causes tiered mental stress based on technique rank for three posts unless kai is used. Additionally, the user's blood pool is increased by 10 per body rank, allowing them to utilize their stored blood more efficiently.
Tier Three Mental Stress
The third tier of mental stress is highly distracting for technique durations and wasteful on resources. B and A Rank genjutsu create this tier of mental stress.
• Reduces techniques with post durations by a maximum of [6] posts until cured or the stress-inducing genjutsu is dispelled. • Increases the resource cost of techniques by a maximum of [40] until cured or the stress-inducing genjutsu is dispelled. For example, a [40] chakra increase for a spiritual technique or a [40] stamina increase for a simple technique or a [20] chakra and [20] stamina increase for a complex technique.
▱▰▱ Corrupted Life-force | The user's blood has been tainted by the clan's cursed lineage. Their blood has a diseased nature, applying tiered disease upon entering the target's system depending on the user's body rank. A ranked amount of chakra can be applied to the user's blood to make it acidic and cause an equal amount of damage depending on the amount of chakra applied.

Truthfully you should be in bed. High fevers, hot flashes, syncope, confusion. One shouldn't be battling in this condition, although it is possible you're body will hate you for it.

The user's familiarity with this technique means they are not required to evade the tags, but allies and enemies alike will.

Tier Three Trauma
• Drains two times the stamina from the target as equal to the rank of the attack. • An additional supply of stamina is drained from the opponent over the course of five post equal to the rank of the attack the opponent failed to block or dodge. • Opponent loses 6 points in endurance. • Opponent may not use one of their offensive actions for an offensive action. May still use it for a defensive or evasive activation. [1 post]
Sixth:
▰ Dance of the Camilla: Slash | Rank S+ | Simple [Attack on Shion] The user performs a volley of slashes with their blade in hand. The user can also stop this technique after a single slash if they so choose. Confers a [1] point increase to speed at E-C rank and a [2] point increase to speed at B-S+ rank.
▱▰▱ Frightening Presence | While someone is in range of her Battlefield Presence, when Takumi uses a Taijutsu technique on an enemy, that target is afflicted by Tiered Vertigo based on the rank of the Taijutsu technique

• Lowers agility by 8 • Evasive maneuvers cost [80] additional resource • Shunshin can be used but are disoriented and cause the user to end up somewhere else, Shunshin and Kawarimi cause nausea reducing activation and additionally causes the user to fall on the ground • Tier 2 Blindness [2 posts]
Tier Two Blindness
The user can only see darkness, Doujutsu users, however man continue to see using their sensory vision albeit much more difficult to do so as now even it is slightly getting blurry.
• Reduces agility by 4, by 2 for doujutsu users. • Normal vision cannot see. • Doujutsu requires an additional [20] resource to use.
xXx All Hajime could hear was a high pitched ringing in his ears, and everything was black. White dots speckled his vision, and he could feel his blades still gripped tight in his hands. His back ache’d, and his head did too. Everything inside him wished he’d just wake up face first in his own vomit, back in some back water tavern somewhere. This was all just one ******** up dream. Unfortunately, as his vision cleared he’d be staring up at the sky. In fact he was falling through the atmosphere towards the hard ground below. Staring up at the floating city as it grew distant. The giant statue of Jashin hovered over it. It was terrifying. The blast and destruction of the spire had sent him flying, knocking him out in the process. It took several seconds but soon enough he was regaining control. His clothes were tattered, parts of his skin were revealed below. A cut above his eyepatch was seeping down around it, and slicking down his cheek. A bruise on his cheek was starting to show. He looked battered but he wasn’t out of the count.
xXx Hajime would take in one deep breath, the Fuuton chakra from before ebbed out. A current of wind caught him and quickly stopped his descent and carried him upwards. He’d begin to accelerate upwards, gaining altitude. Bringing him to the site of the spire. It’d crumbled into the whirlwind below. Tendrils whipped about, around and even at him. Haji’d seem to fizzle out of existence and appeared wear the tendril had tried to collide into him from. [ Shunshin ]
xXx It seemed another ally had come into play as well as an enemy. The Jashinist was continuing to subdue Toso, ordering the new gal to straight up eat Kagerou-Sama and Shion! How utterly terrifying. In a desperate attempt to help Toso and buy time for everyone his next action would be somewhat drastic. He’d suddenly dive right near the spot that Takumi and Toso occupied. Though it seemed as if Takumi was leaving Kagerou and Toso to fight Shion with their crony. As Hajime would dive his right hand sheathed his sword, and pulled a scroll out of a pouch on the side of his belt. With a flurry he’d throw it open, the paper flowing free. The moment the scroll, which held the visage of a castle drawn in it, touched the ground Hajime’s Doton chakra flowed through the rock that sat beneath the three of them. The makings of that castle were all of a sudden forming up and around everyone in the vicinity. As the castle grew bigger, it absorbed other chunks of land above and below it. [ Stone Castle Creation [ Sekkai Daichi Souzou ] | Rank S ] Walls would separate Shion from the Blood Dragon Missile, leaving them in another room not far from where Hajime now stood. The bloody water would blast into the wall, but it’d hold fast. Haji stood before Toso and Kagerou, close to the Hojo. For the moment they’d be safe.
xXxThe Castle had walls that stood four stories high, it was in the shape of a right angle square and had four towers at each corner. The main hold grew up in the center, it was five stories tall. Hajime, Toso and Kagerou stood in the throne room. A trip to the right of the entrance, that stood behind Hajime, about 40 feet and the right would take you to a large storage room that held Shion along with their aggressors Takumi and Mr. Meowgi. A left from the entrance and 50 feet down the corridor would bring you to a staircase. From there you’d step out and into a ball room with two large entrances, Tabe resided in it. Walls separated them from everyone though in truth they weren’t far away. But for Tabe to get her targets they’d have to blast through or follow the halls and get downstairs.
xXx“Toso-Kage, we have to get you out of here!” Hajime wasn’t having any of his negativity, or his self deprecation. “Kagerou-Sama, can you handle whatever jutsu they’ve used on him. I can make us a way out.” His one cyan colored eye was staring at the green haired lady, he’d rarely spoken to her but right now he was relying solely on her leadership. “I’ll protect the two of you with my life. But we have got to act quickly.” To Haji’s left, stone was starting to morph and change, forming a hole in the ground with stairs leading downwards. He was using a lot of chakra. He was infusing his chakra with Raiton now, all over his body. He had to try and buff himself now while he had some time. [ Lightning Strike Armor [ Raigeki no Yoroi ] | Rank B ] A jolt would be felt, the explosion from Mr. Meowgi's technique rocked the castle. There was no telling how bad the damage was.
Stone Castle Creation [ Sekkai Daichi Souzou ] | Rank S The user forms the required hand signs, causing the earth within a two hundred foot area to take the shape of a castle to the user's designs. This castle may be as complex as desired so long as it is formed from rock alone. These castle walls require techniques of S+ Rank to destroy them and are permanent fixtures. Activation DR: [ +0 Strength || + 0 Speed || +0 Agility || +0 Endurance ] ↵
Lightning Strike Armor [ Raigeki no Yoroi ] | Rank B The user expels chakra around their entire body as an electrical disc appears above their body and washes over them, coating them in an electrical aura that defends the user from damage of the armor's rank and below with an upkeep of ten chakra per post. If the technique's original cost is met or exceeded with an attack it defends against the technique ends. Foes who make physical contact with the user during this state are dealt tier three paralysis on the limb connected to the point of contact. Activation DR: [ +0 Strength || + 0 Speed || +0 Agility || +0 Endurance ] ↵
Solo Flight [ Tandokuhikou ] | Rank A This technique grants the user the ability of controlled flight, while flying the user is considered to be using an evasive technique and can outrun any ninjutsu it’s rank or lower than this technique. The flight effect from this technique lasts for five posts before an upkeep of half it’s chakra cost must be paid to keep the jutsu going. When used against [ Flower Scattering Dance ] it loses a rank’s worth in strength in it’s collision against it. Activation DR: [ +0 Strength || + 0 Speed || +0 Reflex || +0 Fortitude ] ↵
Tabe's form remained on the floating platform, standing, completely still. Almost as if she were a different person, someone she locked away in order to be able to even be in this position in the first place. He whitened eyes observed the battlefield as attacks on Takumi were made. She didn't seem to budge much, not even at the request of Takumi to partake in a meal of the two before her. A new arrival...sort of...made his presence known and built up a castle upon one of the floating chunks of island. This was troublesome, troublesome indeed. Although she could see them all fine. She could see everyone just fine. Her mouth began to salivate as if she were hungry once again. Chakra visibly began to explode forth from her person as she stood there a form appeared around her and in her hand a red chakra colored knife was held.
Her chakra formed into a titanic beast the likes of which one may have never seen before. It was made of chakra, and any familiar with the style of Reiken No Michi would recognize it's feel as similar to the spirit titan that many who master that style could use. However this was different, it was an emaciated beast with huge claws and no face simply large teeth as a mouth. It stood in the same way Tabe stood, hands to the side and staring at what was this castle. Tabe's arm rose with spiritual knife in hand and so too did the emaciated beast's arm, and then quickly swinging the blade downwards the arm would follow Tabe's movements.
The beast's arm following Tabe's movement's would swipe down and with full intention of cleaving through the castle. It's defensive capabilities would be no match for the beast's claws as it would cleave through castle that was dwarfed by the Beast Titan. The enhanced defenses useless, and even had the castle attempted to hold it's own against the Breaking Crash, it would fall to the nature of the Reiken Titan as a weapon. As it cleaved through the castle though it seemed the attack aimed to particularly hit the creator of the castle as well. Tabe felt the need to deal with the others who may or may not have been in the castle later. They could not escape her....she believed this as a simple fact.
7th Virtue State: Loyalty --- ▰ Warrior Spirit: Titan [ Senshi no Seishin: Kyojin ] | Rank S+ | Complex While in the seventh and final virtue state the user manifests their full and complete warrior spirit. This ethereal warrior is the size of a bijuu and made from chakra and spiritual essence that is the same color as the Reiken and the energy covering the user's body. The spirit stands behind the warrior and mimics their attacks to devastating effects. Bukijutsu and taijutsu can be performed through the titan as a mirroring effect to greatly increase the area of effect and overall potency. The weapon of the spirit is two hundred feet maximally. The warrior spirit heals the damage that is taken by feasting on the user's spirit, repairing damage to itself once every other post (1-2 times).
▰ Devourer's Spirit: Beast Titan | Rank S+ | Bukijutsu/Taijutsu | Complex Replacing Warrior's Spirit: Titan, this technique gives form to Tabe's spirit which happens to be far from that of a warrior. This beast like Titan functions exactly as a titan normally would, however instead of wielding a weapon akin to that of a titan it strikes with it's claw in a way similar to Tabe strikes with her Reiken. -- ▰ Breaking Crash | Rank X | Simple (S+) [Executed with Reiken Weapon, Considered Spiritual.] When encountering a defense, the user presses their over sized weapon with all their might into the defenses and crushes it in order to cut the target behind the defense. This attack negates any rank increases granted to techniques that are granted by the technique itself

"Your words remind me of schoolyard bullies, it makes a man wonder if you were also devoid of the love from your father...or perhaps simply devoid of love." This was said by one of Toso's tentacles as when he was being held aloft with hardly even a trace of resistance in his eyes he'd meet with Takumi's black and red. They were indeed as she said empty and perhaps if looking even deeper could even be misconstrued as pity...but not for himself but for the one that held him. "I accepted my emptiness...but what about yours?" Takumi wouldn't have the time to process before Shion began her assault then after and his future monologue began. Little did she know that the hand that laid itself upon him had been tainted by his very person his inexplainable chakra leaking into hers. {Active Passive: Corrupted Touch}((Narratively tho I'll let you decide what with something that siphons his chakra if it would also make sense that your also getting his icky Corrupted that petrifies, that is if you opt to have gained some of it for your narrative purpose assuming the next few paragraphs you'd believe to have been at least somewhat successful for that purpose.))
Shortly after who else but Kagerou would make herself present. Consol she would attempt to do and the thing about consoling is that the person being consoled would have to care about what another person said. Perhaps Kagerou believed herself 'too late' before arriving and with that assumption she was correct. "What a wasted admiration. You're a psychiatrist. You recall the popular definition of insanity? ...Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Rebuilding, reestablishing, rebellion, ruthlessness, ruins, repeat...the act of trying, is masochism." It was right then perhaps at the end of this conversation Hajime made his official call to action separating the group via his stone castle creation. He'd speak quickly and as he did so that was when Toso buckled and fell to the floor. A sign of Takumi activating the seal she had placed upon his neck. A grimace on the otherwise smug expression. "..Ann..oying." this was of course when Hajime made his plea to Kagerou...but...he'd take it into his own hands immediately...or rather...instinctively?...What would follow would be something unbelievably traumatic for most people witnessing it...In brief choice seconds as Takumi felt what could have possibly been Saiken's chakra coming.. she'd also feel it ending as soon as it began...why?
Simple. There was no neck attached to a body and to the tenkestu for the tattoo to properly function. Yes, Toso...or rather one of his tentacles decapitated him instantly. The former head of the Arashikage rolled across the ground right in front of Hajime, eyes still wide and mouth smug once more. Black blood gushed from his body as it fell limply to the floor but not before clapping its hands together before an almost comical thud. While his friends likely 'tried' to maintain their composure, which Toso, if he still had a head, would have believed Kagerou would have no problems with. His body then sprung up like a zombie and a disgusting bubbling noise followed by squelching sound came from the base of Arashikage's neck before POP in almost a tiny little explosion of black blood did a new head appear. "...so quiet...so peaceful...and now."{Aberrant Nature}{Many Arms of the Squid}
"ITS SOOOOO LOUD! SAMMMEEEEEE! BUSO!" Toso sounded like he was fuming irritated by the transformation of Tabe outside and essentially the sound of a massive blade he still had yet to see cutting through the roof of Hajime's defense like a cake. It was partly that and also the intense ringing in his head that felt like it was about to explode again due to the sensory overload one would come to expect from going from feeling true nothing to something. Eight small brushes seemed to appear around him after a flash of bright light, floating as if in orbit all the while he still held the book believed to be the cause of his personality shift in his pit and the King Fisher in hand. {Rainbow Style!- Into Take-Buso} The brushes rapidly moved like the beelike things they were as they formed an entrance into Isekai-Junsei. The world that only Kagerou was familiar with out of the two of them. Without so much as a second thought Toso would enter his pocket dimension to get away from the noise without nary a care about Kagerou or Hajime. The entryway would remain just long enough for someone else to come with. {Isekai-Junsei} This created ultimately a choice that needed to be made. There would be no time to bring another with them. Someone would have to fend off Tabe's attack while the other followed Toso. There would be no time to delegate or even relay info as Toso would close the pocket dimension as quickly as he made it, and perhaps the earlier potential trauma of witnessing a friend behead themselves would make for even less time. Kagerou was the psychiatric specialist true but Hajime was clearly out of his league here against Tabe as her attack seemed focused on him. The village was still in dire straits and their leader was showing little to no signs of compassion or care. If neither followed Toso and remained to oppose Tabe the village would most assuredly fall, if neither occupied Tabe Shion would be left to fend off both assailants, and if Kagerou pursued Toso there was a significant chance that Hajime would die, and if Hajime pursued Toso...well there was no guarantee he could pierce his friends nihilism without true understanding of his mental burdens...of course perhaps there was another option? ..or more expansive outcomes...whose to say...some people often did special things, and its those special things that break such molds. ((Essentially creating potential here for individual rotations. I.e ShionxTakumi, TabexHaji, TosoxKagerou, etc.)) Tech Used + Definitions
▰ Corrupted Touch | Rank X | Activated Passive {No Act} Anything the Hojo touches in his current state will subject to having its Chakra corrupted. In the case of sages, a single touch will make a [ B ] rank amount of Sage chakra unusable, this effect stackable. In the case of Jinchuuriki, a single touch will prevent the Jinchuuriki's tailed beast from regenerating chakra. In the case of non-sages, this corrupted chakra will either begin to induce sage-like petrification or begin to warp the location by twisting and flaying it. Alternatively, the touch has a number of effects nonprevalent in combat. Small to medium-sized Immobile non-chakra inanimate objects when touched may vanish momentarily [1 post], they may gain mouths or several eyes that scream and look around rapidly, or even adopt unreal features that make an individual question if the object in question is even real. Damage can be inflicted via touch with these varying result by paying an X-amount of Heritage Chakra causing horrendous disfigurements. However, all such effects and disfigurements end when the Heritage state concludes.
▰ Fūkaku! : {Rainbow Style!} {No Act} Rank - [D] Description: A seal located in the brooch when activated via voice commands allows Toso to perform a change of attire into any attire he happens to have contained in the Master Celestial Artists Armory in a flash. This is signified by the brooch glowing in a rainbow fashion. The seal allows for immediate arming and disarming of ones own armors, tech, weapons, etc for a chakra cost expanding the effectiveness of the Master Celestial Artists Armory. Arming and disarming weapons will not consume an activation, but changing out armors does. Voice commands are particular to the kage's diction but sometimes are rather out there.
{Errata} •Aberrant Nature: For the duration of having activated their heritage the Hojo may use the [Arms of the Squid] regenerative ability as many times as they like, this no longer requires one undisturbed post of concentration but a single activation. Moreover, the pain detriment is also ignored. Additionally, by invoking the same disadvantages as normal, as long as the head is severed and not entirely destroyed, the user may regenerate a new head before their consciousness fades from the old head.
{2 Activations} ▰ Arms of the Squid + Aberrant Nature | Rank : S As the years of their fusion summoning swept by, the early Hojo began to realize that possessing arms that could stretch great distances was both a great power, and an incredible weakness. Those who became flustered in combat, or simply overpowered, were often delimbed. To a normal ninja this commonly led to death, but to a Hojo, losing his arms was as good as losing his head. In order to combat such weakness, the Hojo took inspiration from the very beasts they pacted. By making use of an incredible amount of chakra, and self-inducing excruciating pain, one could regenerate lost limbs, so long as the greater socket remains (shoulder for arms, waist for legs). It is not entirely clear if this feat can be mimicked or produced by other methods, but is is very apparent that the act is highly sought after.
{1 Activation} ▰ Keystone: Otherworld Imitation [ Isekai-Junsei ] | Rank S | Bloodline [ Hojo ] {Learned} [Isekai-Junsei] is the cultivation of Toso's original technique [Tosō-inku] and using that knowledge combined with the knowledge of extra-dimensional spaces produced by fuuinjutsu allowed for the creation of truly amazing technique. [Isekai-Junsei] is essentially a pocket dimension that can be accessed or escaped into via drawing some form of entryway in the real world i.e a door or a hole. Upon opening or entering said space one of two things will occur. A blank white location that seems to extend for miles on end or essentially a mirrored world of the current thread is produced only in black and white. Drawing another entryway in the mirrored or blank world will create a similar entryway in the real world from which to exit. The exit method isn't particularly discreet unless per say the exit was made on something hiding it or is well hidden to begin with. The world inside of [Isekai-Junsei] can then be entirely manipulated by those inhabiting it. This involves its user and any individuals who may be inside. This manifests itself in the ability to create black and white structures and objects and things from sheer imagination as though the world itself was a blank canvas. Objects made with the intent to do harm require an amount of chakra to do so of an [X]-rank and will only last [1-post] thereof and will be treated as [Spiritual] for interactions. Anything made without this malicious intent otherwise will not impart a cost aside an activation but can be willed away just as easily unless a cost was paid. [Isekai-Junsei] can thusly emulate threads like a Dojo or Academy for appropriate reductions and also offer a place for individuals to compete without the threat of structural damage. [Isekai-Junsei] primarily functions as an excellent utility for tutelage, isolating problem targets, tactical bastion, and a safe haven. But above all else a place where creativity thrives.

SHIONxxxxxMORI The haptic feedback from bone crunching beneath Shion's weight had always been satisfying to her. It wasn't out of some sick kick of causing pain, mind you; it was more-so a reminder of the petite kunoichi's implacable might. Honestly, it was almost enough to take the edge off her attack falling short... almost. The ire of Shion is not so easily broken.
Her kick, effective or not, propelled the pair downward to the next platform, landing with a thud. Shion skidded on her feet, sliding across what she assumed used to be bits of old floor tiling for a few inches. As Takumi took her time to analyze Shion, the girl would shoot off a quick message to the trio of companions, including the newly arrived Kagerou. "Thank goodness, Kagerou. Get Toso out of here! I'll hold this one off as long as I can. Hajime, help her any way you can." Whether by the other's intent, or sheer happenstance, it seemed Shion's orders had been recieved. Hajime blocked off the fight, diving them into squared off pairs and deflecting a water shot that Shion was too busy was too distracted to see, and Toso and Kagerou slipped off into the shadow-realm. "You better snap out of this, Tosokurui. When I'm done here, I'm gonna kick your a** if you're still moping." She'd say, beaming one last message to the squidkage as he slipped away. To the uninitiated, the threat of a Shion-fueled a**-whooping was enough to sent shivers down the spine, but to someone like Toso, it was clear her words were filled with a deep sense of comradery.
With the fallout of the last bout settled, Shion was now able to give her undivided attention to Takumi... just in time to deal with another barrage of attacks. First was the hail of explosives. A laughable attempt to be honest. Did this interloper truly think she could outclass the self-proclaimed Queen of Explosives at her own game? The tags rained down around her, but Shion countered the explosions with a blast of her own as she detonated the rippling blue chakra around her into a radial blast [Meltdown Charge expended: 3/5 remaining]. The remaining tags would be blown harmlessly away, at least until the next barrage arrived.
Her follow-up was far less impressive, at least on the surface; a simple slashing strike from the cat, now transformed into a more humanoid shape. Shion's eyes would quickly dart in the direction of the attack and take the blow! Or at least, that's what it would seem like. As the blade passed through the girl's body, she would flicker and fade out of existence... a mirror image! [Sidestep S-rank complex]
It was finally her turn to take the offensive. With the cat carrying through the the momentum of it's own strike, Shion would dash forward and target the real Takumi with a devastating strike. Takumi wanted explosions? Well, Shion would be more than happy to oblige. As she neared the rogue kunoichi, Shion reared back her fist as sparks began to crackle wildly around her. With a sudden leap into the air, Shion would descend upon the cultist with a mighty downward strike. Should the strike land or not, a thunderous roar would rip the air apart as a mighty blast would threaten to engulf Takumi [ Simple Tai: Punch B-rank // Explosion [ Bakuha - S+-rank].
Meltdown Rank: S [Cast as S+] Type: Bloodline Keystone/Spiritual Taijutsu Element: Bakuton Description: The pinnacle of Bakuton. This technique is the ultimate defense as well as the ultimate offense. Shion is able to wrap herself in a cloak of extremely volatile Bakuton chakra; this cloak has a two-fold effect: first is that it can be used as an amplification to her Taijutsu, adding an extra A-ranked hit to the attack [the blast still hits if the punch missed]. Second is that Shion can expend a burst of the chakra to deflect an oncoming attack of equal or lower rank. If a tai or buki technique is blocked with Meltdown, it will deal A-ranked damage to the attacker. Meltdown offers a cumulative 5 bursts to divide between offense or defense at Shion's discretion until combat ends. This technique can only be used twice per battle with 7 posts between each use. The offensive use of this technique counts as an augment technique and uses no activations and the defensive technique counts as a standard technique that takes a defensive activation.

This chakra becomes super heated and explosive, staying dormant in the desired body part until physical contact is made. This explosion expands 10 feet outward per rank of the technique, throwing those in it's range to it's furthest limits with concussive force, causing tiered burns and trauma. This is often used to augment the user's taijutsu or basic combat attacks to grant them additional force.

All fire techniques apply [1] tier higher burning. • Reihi style fire techniques are classified as katon but lack the weakness to suiton and advantage to fuuton. • All complex and spiritual taijutsu and bukijutsu techniques can emit blue fire that can apply tiered mental stress or insanity depending on the rank of the technique on sight. • Fire release techniques can act as a visual trigger for all genjutsu. • Matatabi's Reihi Style grants [2] stat points when stage three is mastered and another [2] stat points in stage six is mastered. • Upon mastery of Demon Cloak Stage 1, Matatabi fully unlocks the fire nature transformation in the user as an additional element if the host does not already possess it.
Nibi - Mastery Cloak [2/10] • The user's strength, speed, and endurance are elevated to 10 while the user's agility is elevated to 12 for the duration of the transformation. • Fire release techniques are considered overwhelming during the transformation and are boosted [1] rank higher during this transformation. • Six-inch flaming cat claws form over the user's knuckles and cause all taijutsu to inflict tiered burning and trauma at [1] tier higher than the rank of the technique. • All taijutsu techniques are considered overwhelming during the transformation and cost [1] rank less to use.
There was very little that made Takumi emote. Usually the stoic type of woman, she always seemed aloof and uncaring of what was happening in the world around her. But if there was something she found her joy in, it was violence. She had begun to feel it when the Spire had been destroyed, but now? Against Shion, one the jinchuriki? A smile twisted itself on Takumi’s normally bored face as the girl charged at her, the Jashinist sliding into her own fighting stance. She was never one to run from a challenge, and she was just as much a fighter as Shion was. As Takumi prepared herself, Mr. Meowgi had finally recovered from his miss. Forming handsigns, he expelled his chakra to the top of the barrier, forming a cloud within that would rain blood on the three combatants that would drain Shion’s chakra usage. [Mist Rain S+] The sight of so much blood would cause Tier 4 Mental Stress to Shion.
So when the demon host went to swing at Takumi, the reserve of explosive chakra the girl had saved fizzled out into the rain. Just in time for Takumi to block with her hand, catching the girl’s fist with the same hand she held Toso with, instantly creating a tattoo on Shion’s punching hand. [Basic Block B Rank] “Impressive, even without your demon’s strength.” Takumi pulled Shion’s fist as she spoke, just enough to put their faces uncomfortably close, before throwing her away. “Tell me, child. Why do you fight? Surely not for the man who is sending you all to your deaths at this very moment.” The woman tapped her toe against the hunk of earth, indicating the falling village. While doing so she took a glance at the crimson crystal. It was glowing with the energy from Saiken, but the short process was over faster this time than the others. She shook her head, for it didn’t matter. She got what she came for. Explosions began to rain around the three fighters again, and Mr. Meowgi acted again. By stabbing his palm with his thumb, blood spilled from his hand. Molding it with chakra it surrounded the entire arena. [Bloodletting Arena B Rank Spiritual]
“Is the man you want to follow the same one that takes everything away from you, just because he fell to his hubris? Your strength is wasted, child.” Takumi made a ritualistic motion with her hand, imbuing the tattoo on Shion’s hand with chakra. This would force that limb to cease operating, paralysing it. [Binding Ceremony S+ Tier 4 Paralysis to Shion’s arm] With Takumi’s other arm, bone slid from the flesh, covering the length of her arm and spiraling to a point down the length and a few inches past her fist. [Dance of the Clemantis: Drill S Rank] She charged forward, then, closing the distance between her and Shion. As she did, Mr. Meowgi slammed his bloodied hand to the ground, forcing a bone from his palm and through the platform to rise and restrict Shion in place. [Dance of the Clemantis: Vine S+ Spiritual] Takumi hefted her drill arm up easily despite its size, thrusting the massive weapon right towards Shion’s stomach, where her demon seal would be. If the targeted area is the legs and only one is affected the infected can pay [40] stamina to dodge. If the legs are targeted then use of the legs or feet for somatic casting is impossible unless the infected can pay [80] stamina. This cost for leg somatic casting is halved if only one leg is affected. • Handsigns cannot be formed and somatic arm casting cannot be performed if the targeted area affected are both arms unless paying [80] stamina. Third Action:
▰ Dance of the Clematis: Drill | Rank S | Spiritual The user creates from their body a massive bone weapon, at least three feet long and one foot wide from one of their hands which spirals down to a single point. The weapon appears like a lance as it covers the user’s forearm and hand. The bulk of the object is incredible, and yet it is as light as a feather for the user to move. This weapon can be used in conjunction with the user’s bukijutsu styles. Any attack used with this massive weapon gains a [2] point bonus to strength.

The user's punch has the ability to destroy spiritual armors as well as genjutsu that may be affecting a target by flooding their chakra through the target upon impact. Breathing out, the light, darkening mist rain will spread over an area (topic), billowing upwards to prevent a jump's worth of height. Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Complex/Spiritual Tai/Buki jutsu, & Demonic auras/cloaks/etc are affected. Exactly half of the chakra absorbed is sent to sustain the jutsu, while the other half filters into the user's own chakra pool. Absorption can temporarily extend the user's chakra pool to above normal, for a maximum of triple the total. For example, if your reserves are 1,000 then it can increase it to 3,000 maximally. Lasts until [3] total posts have elapsed from the last absorption. Automatically Absorbs chakra at a rate of [320] per post from the listed sources dispersing them in a pseudo-seal fashion. However, the users own jutsu is excluded from this.
Tier Four Mental Stress
• Reduces techniques with post durations by a maximum of [8] posts until cured or the stress-inducing genjutsu is dispelled. • Increases the resource cost of techniques by a maximum of [80] until cured or the stress-inducing genjutsu is dispelled. For example, an [80] chakra increase for a spiritual technique or a [80] stamina increase for a simple technique or a [40] chakra and [40] stamina increase for a complex technique.
Second Action:
▰ Bloodletting Arena [ Chiwonagasu Arina ] | Rank B | Spiritual Blood begins to swirl in a forty-foot diameter around the user's current location to create a crimson dome, standing thirty feet in height. For the next eight posts any person other than the user who suffers an open wound that is bleeding has a complex B Rank amount of chakra and stamina drained from them in the form of blood that seems to be magnetically drawn to the user so long as they remain in the circle. This fills the user's blood pool first, then their standard resources once the blood pool is filled. If the arena is destroyed then the draining effects are interrupted and ceased.
Third Action:
▰ Dance of the Clematis: Vine | Rank S+ | Spiritual The user slams one of their feet into the ground. A thin tendril of bone appears from under the opponent as it attempts to bind the opponent in place. The vine will withstand against same-rank spiritual techniques.

SHIONxxxxxMORI A shower of sparks where there should have been a roaring blast only served to further inflame the girl's wrath; demon-sharpened teeth gritted as the pair's faces neared. This fight was almost too much to bear for Shion, and she was slowly losing the ability to fight at her fullest. It wouldn't stop her, however. Not her poisoned words, her blocking Shion's chakra, even paralyzing her arm... A storm stops for nothing, and Takumi was in the heart of the greatest storm ever.
When Shion was thrown back from the pair's lock, She would struggle to gain her balance, her limp arm serving to unsteady her balance. The mere moments it took for the little demon to readjust to the off-kilter balance was plenty for Takumi and her cat's attacks to find a home, striking true against their target. Or at least, it appeared they had hit. As each attack hit, both spear and bone trap would be met with a violent blast of silver-orange energy [Meltdown x2 - 1 Charge Remaining] These blasts would neutralize the oncoming attacks just like the ones before and send a hailing storm of bone shards back at the cultist. Shion stood before Takumi unscathed, but far from safe. The once radiant silver aura had diminished to barely a flickering spark running along her body, her breathing was ragged from the exertion required to dodge two opponents at once, and her body was aching from the cramping paralysis that took her arm. Her ultimate shield was down to it's last bit of juice and her opponent showed no signs of breaking; How was she going to get out of this one?

The little kunoichi would level her piercing heterochromia at the jashinist, matching her stern gaze. "I don't need Matatabi. I never have." She'd bark, placing one foot forward to catch her balance. "My strength is misplaced? You must really be as stupid as you cultists look!" Another step. "He's never given up on me, even when I was all but lost. He IS my strength; they all are!" Two more. "Toso, Kagerou, Hajime, Nozomi, and everyone else in this doomed village!" A light jog. "As long as a single one of them remains..." A dead sprint. "...my strength is right where it belongs!" With that, Shion would leap into the air and crash down onto where Takumi stood with a deadly aerial axe kick aimed clear at her dome [Basic Kick - S+]. "You're up against the might of Arashi, coward! Now shut up and die!"
She might not have had her demon, she might not have had chakra, but nothing could seal away Shion's resolve.

The bone armor around Takumi and Mr. Meowgi shattered at the explosions created by Shion, sending them both back by twenty feet. The cultist had barely come to a stop before Shion was launching another attack, a powerful, earth shattering kick. Takumi crossed her arms above her head, bone splitting from her forearms to both block Shion’s kick and cut into the girl’s leg. Takumi looked up to Shion through her crossing arms, before pushing the girl off from her. "Child, you are alone now. Alone with me.” As Takumi spoke, she dug her feet into the ground, her shoes trailing into the dirt as she formed a shape around her. A circle with a triangle inside, where she stood in the middle. “There is only darkness for you, and death for your people. Look around, your very Kage has doomed you to fall. And these sacrifices are only the beginning, child.” Takumi made a single handsign and the rune in the earth spread, crumbling the surface of the platform they were standing on to create divots to form a much larger rune. “Whereas I will command a great and terrible army, to sail to a billion worlds. And we will sail until every last light has been extinguished.”
Takumi lifted her forearm to her mouth, licking the drops of blood from her bone blades. Instantly her skin shifted from pale to black, with glowing, crimson skeletal patterns covering her body. Takumi’s dark, red eyes stared down the kunoichi with a look colder than ice. “You are strong, child. But I am beyond strength. I am the end, and I have come for you.” [Forbidden Art: Crimson Controller Posessing Blood S+] In her transformed state, Takumi reached her hand back behind the base of her neck just as a bone slid from her flesh. Once enough of it was out for her to grab, Takumi pulled, yanking her spinal column out with full force. While Shion wouldn’t lose her spinal cord in the same way, the girl would feel the intense pain brought about by a non-Kaguya feeling the sensation. [Dance of the Clematis: Whip S+] With a flick of her wrist, the woman's bone whip became straight and rigid, more blade-like in its appearance. Takumi then quickly ran the blade against her stomach, sawing open her skin and disemboweling herself in front of Shion, who would feel the same.
▰ Dance of the Larch: Absolute Defense | Rank X | Complex This is a supplemental technique. The user first prepares themselves by channeling chakra throughout all of their bones. Then, when the user is struck with a tai or bukijutsu technique, the user is able to have a plate of bones first protect the area which was struck equal rank to the strike provided. Then, the user launches a counter attack, which converts the opponent’s strength stat which they used the technique into the speed of which the bone blades rise out of the user to impale the target. Can only be used up to the rank the user has access to. Cost one activation to block the strike, and another to launch the counter strike. If the user only has one activation left, then the block will occur, but not the counter attack. If the user has no activations left, then this ability does not work. At E-C rank the technique increases endurance by [1] and at B-S+ rank the technique increases endurance by [2]. This stance lasts for 6 posts.

▰ Forbidden Art: Crimson Controller Possessing Blood [ Kinjutsu: Shijihyouketsu ] | Rank S+ | Spiritual The user carves a circular rune upon the ground beneath them, standing in the center of it's image. While standing within the image, the user must ingest the blood of the target. Once this is done, the user takes on a black skin tone with a crimson demonic skeleton appearing on their body. While remaining within the circle after the ritual is completed, any damage the user of the technique takes is mirrored back to the target(s) who had their blood ingested. Meaning if stabbed in the leg, a wound identical to the user's appears on the target's body as though the injury occurred to themselves. If the user leaves the circle created by the symbol before injesting the blood of the target the technique is broken and must be reapplied to use the reflective damage ability. This technique restricts the user to basic combat techniques, taijutsu, bukijutsu, or Ketsueki clan techniques while active. In addition, this technique requires an A ranked upkeep per post. Any limbs lost in this manner must be reattached by visiting the hospital or by medical ninjutsu. Requires Jashinism.

SHIONxxxxxMORI Another bone-shield? Typical one trick pony behavior; Shion knew just what to do here. It was a move, tried and true, that Shion had come to rely on to get out of most jams, and it would surely do so here. Her preternatural reflexes kicked in and chakra raced throughout her body. A quick snap and... Shion found her mirror image failing to manifest [Sidestep - S+ // 400 absorbed by rain]. Bone bit into flesh, sawing away at least a half inch deep into her calf. Shion winced at the pain, allowing Takumi to complete her riposte and send the girl flying back.
Luckily, Shion had become used to pain; turns out taking regular hits like warhammers to the ribs and super-powered beetle punches tends to build up a considerable tolerance [Berserker spec Armor - now broken] Broken bones and ripped flesh were like old friends to the scrappy little firebrand. Her body had been broken and mended more times that she could count; Shion was confident there was nothing Takumi could do that could stop her.
As though the cultist had sensed her confidence, she immediately set out to prove Shion wrong. A two-fold attack struck Shion's nerves to the core. A searing agony ripped its way up her back followed by a slash across her midsection. The girl's knees buckled as she tumbled forwards, barely managing her catch herself on her hands. Frantically, Shion checked her stomach and found that her hands came away stained red. Her mouth shaped itself to find words, but found nothing. As she faded out, the last thought she could remember was *Looks like I'm letting you down agian, Toso. Sorry, bud.* There she would lie at the mercy of a crumbling city and a Kage too far gone to care.

Her excitement fell from Takumi’s face, being replaced with her usual stoic boredom. The woman slid her spinal column back where she got it and slipped her hands back into her pockets. “Shame, really.” She said to the unconscious Shion. “I really am rather fond of cats.” A haunting meow punctuated her words as Mr. Meowgi, back in his cat form, jumped onto his master’s shoulder. The cultist pulled the crimson crystal from her pocket, but was forced to falter. Her hand, the one she’d grabbed the Kage with, had been slowly going numb this whole time. While Takumi had been able to shove the sensation away during her fight, now that it was over it started to catch up to her.
Takumi’s hand was coated with stone, petrified from the fingers and up to her elbow. She wasn’t stupid, Takumi knew what it was. An influx of Nature Chakra was forcing her arm to turn to stone. With an effort of will the cultist was able to stop the flow from rising further up her body, but on her own Takumi wouldn’t be able to remove it entirely. They needed to get out, and quickly. Takumi focused her chakra through the crystal, using the tattoo she’d placed on Shion as a focus, like she had with Toso. Once again, Takumi pulled the energy of the Bijuu from the girl, sapping her of the negative power of Matatabi. The Arashi kunoichi’s body would be surrounded and shocked by crimson electricity during the painful process, and what would be an instant would feel like an eternity.
Soon after Takumi replaced the crystal and looked up to the ruined castle of stone. Her barriers shattered and the blood rain stopped moments before she moved. In the blink of an eye, the Jashinist stood next to Tabe, placing a hand on the girl’s shoulder. “Come, child. We got what we came for. We shouldn’t dawdle further.” And just as quickly as they appeared, the two Jashinists used Shunshin to disappear.
