At least I didn't have to chase it along the table like I... used to, she said softly, thoughtful but shy as she glanced at the floor, remembering those years on that sailboat. Mairi nodded shyly, standing before she almost tripped over the chair legs as she'd hooked her foot beneath one absently. Whoa?!? she yelped as she stumbled, barely catching herself from falling on her face. I don't know. My father... he's not antagonistic towards humans, but doesn't trust them either.
