Eric found a couple of oranges. "Damn, are you serious man? So he found the guy who made him an orphan... Did he kill him?" he asked as he peeled an orange and gave it to namine.

Eric gulped nervously. "this may be worse than I thought. Why does Lawrence have to be in a freaking coma now?" he said eating the orange. He looked back to skasa. "I sort of knew from day one. You don't exactly look alike you know. Your personalities don't really match up either."

Eric nodded at skasa. "Lawrence learned about that when you were AWOL in port royal. It's sad to even remember it. Poor kid." he sighed. Then he heard namine talking. "Crap! Yeah, he was shot down where I just happened to be hiding out after the... You know. He's with yogtz right now. He's pretty banged up. May be a while before we see either of them again. Damn it! Why? Those heartless bastards will pay for this," he said clenching his fists.

Eric frowned as well. "As much as i don't want to believe it, that's true. It's going to be tough to deal with," He said. He then heard the two girls bikering, then hugging. "Way to make us sound like a pair of psychos. I'll never fully understand women." He said chuckling some. "No man ever will."

Eric looked to Skasa. "I just buried myself with that statement didn't i? I tend to do that. Well, i'm doomed." He knelt down and petted peppermint. "Let's get you some food little buddy." As he stood back up, the orange hit him in the eye. It hit him even with his glasses on. He felt the sting of orange juice in his eye. "Oh crap. My luck just isn't with me today. Man that stings!" He said blinking repeatedly ot try and flush the juice out. He graqbbed some dog food and poured it into peppermint's bowl. "I probably deserved that i know."

Eric blinked a few more times until his eye felt better. "Thanks kirune." He wiped his glassses clean and put them back on. "So, what do we do now? We've got a sick girl, a missing child, and both our medics are unavailable. Things aren't exactly looking up for us right now."

Eric chuckled. "You're right man. Cyan is badass. He's been through way worse crap than i have and is still alive. And swimming in women, or girlfriends his age i should say." He pulled up a chair and sat near namine. "We'll do what we can to help."

After a few minutes, Eric stood up. "I have to make a phone call. Excuse me." he walked over to the phone and picked it up. He dialed the number for yogtz. It went to his answering machine. "You've reached the home of yogtz the moogle kupo, I'm not available at the moment. Leave your message at the tone. I'll get back to you as soon as I can kupo."
Eric was shocked that yogtz wasn't home. "crap! Hey yogtz. Call me back. I have something to ask you," he placed the phone down and hung up. "Crap! Why wasn't he home watching Lawrence? That moron!" he said.
