Eric chuckled. "That is something I simply cannot do. I'm not sure what it is exactly I want. I've got so much messed up crap in my life I have no decision making abilities whatsoever. I've just been exhausted both physically and emotionally," he said. Why am I speaking to these people? They've got nothing to do with my problems or do they? I should be the only one who can fix these problems right? These people have ruined me. Why should I think of them as companions? he thought. Lawrence glared at Eric. " Have you forgotten one of the basic lessons of the committee? Your friends can and WILL help you when you're in a jam. Whether it be in battle or in life," he said. Eric shrugged. "Unless the situation prevents them from doing so effectively,"

Kirune sighed and sat down, beginning to trace her finger in the sand. "Stop being a wimp, Eric." Namine scolded. "Just walk over to Kirune, tell her how you feel, and this will be over."

Eric sighed. "You're right. I can't hide within myself forever," he said standing up. i really hope this doesn't end up biting me in the a**. Going through two girls in a matter of months would just be horrendous, he thought slowly walking toward kirune. Lawrence looked to namine. " Do you want some s'mores love?"

Lawrence stood up. " Let's hope either him or I remembered to bring it. It wouldn't be a good fire without s'mores," he said walking over to the suitcases. He dug through one and pulled out three large bags of marshmallows and multiple, somewhat melted, chocolate bars. He found the graham crackers in another case. i really ought to organize better. Eric probably has everything in its own compartment, he thought. Eric knelt down by kirune. "Is everything alright?"

Kirune nodded. "Yeah." She stretched and sighed. "Have fun talking to them?" Namine sat down by the fire.

"It was certainly an experience. I'll tell you that," he said sitting down. "Are you enjoying it here?" Lawrence brought the s'mores supplies over. " We've got enough bloody sugar here to keep us up for days. Grab a stick and start roasting, " he said.

Namine began roasting her s'more. Peppermint whimpered and pawed at Lawrence. He was hungry. Kirune nodded. "I love it here." She hugged Eric.

Eric smiled. "I knew you would. People love the beach," he said. He looked out to the ocean. i better not find any of those jellyfish heartless on Lawrence's ship, he thought. Lawrence heard peppermint whimper. " Chocolate is lethal to dogs. I wonder if Eric brought any meat," he said. He looked to the suitcases. " no coolers. Looks like I'm going fishing," he looked down to peppermint. " you're really spoiled you know?" he said.

Eric chuckled slightly. "I usually hate the beach. Making such a big fuss over a tiny scrap of sand just because it's near water doesn't make sense to me. But people like you make it worthwhile," he said. He put his arm around kirune. I'll stay up all night defending these two. I don't care if it's paranoia; these people... Maybe they don't, he thought. Lawrence sighed and grabbed a stick. He pulled out his shoelace and tied it to one end of the stick. " oh bloody hell! What do we have for a hook and bait?" he thought out loud.
