Marcus silently cursed in his mind. That was definitely gonna make it harder. He sighed " Have their been any odd activity going on lately?" he asked. He either appeared early on right on time and depending on the situation it effected how fast he could have to work to either prevent or stop it and not raise suspicion. He shrugged " No matter." he said and looked at her " Jacie are you alright?" he asked her.

Jacie said as she watched a car pull out of the back driveway. "And to answer your question, yes. Strange things have been happening... Ever since my parents died. There's always at least two if not more deaths everyday. There aren't ever any pokemon around. And just five years ago... Owning pokemon... Became illegal. All trainers around the world were forced to release their pokemon. That's why Lylla likes to keep me in the house and out of town. If someone found out about my pokemon and who I live with, not only would I be arrested, but Lylla would loose her job and possibly put to death."

Marcus raised a brow " Thats just cruel and unusual...why are they illegal...there can't be a real reason." he said. He had more to do here then if that was the case. He shrugged " Then I guess it would be best to stay out of trouble..but its probably going to get worse sooner or later." he said and sighed.

Marcus sighed " Pokemon are only a threat if you threaten them or their masters." he said and grabbed a ball from around his waste as the master ball grew. He tossed it and let the Pokemon out as the ball returned. The Pokemon that stood there was Darkrai a usually hostile creature but instead it rather peaceful and respectfully greeted Jacie before it started to inspect the house. Marcus smiled " Its a friendly creature but if you threaten it or me then it becomes hostile." he said and shrugged " Besides..I plan to head into the city for certain reasons law or not." he said.

She was way more interested in this new pokemon. But all of her senses snapped into place when he mentioned heading into town. "Just be careful. If anyone even suspects that you're a trainer they'll take you straight to the police. And I know for a fact that Lylla will be the one to interrogate you. And she won't be hesitant in arresting you." Jacie could sense just by looking at his pokemon that Marcus was a strong trainer. But even she knew that without their pokemon, trainers were nothing. "So just promise me you won't do anything stupid." Jacie said as she lifted herself up onto the bannister of the balcony.

Marcus laughed " They won't be able to take me in...even without my Pokemon." he said. Marcus as a cursed one was cursed with certain abilities. He could mimic Pokemon's abilities is he wanted but he also had his own. Marcus even without his Pokemon was almost unstoppable but beacuse he wanted to make sure Jacie lived this time he would stay out of trouble or refrain form getting caught. He smiled at her..still as beautiful as ever " I suppose I can only half make that promise." he said " What I do requires me to do many stupid thing..but I can promise you I will never get caught." he said. He then looked at Jacie smiling.

Jacie was just about to find herself lost in Marcus' icy blue eyes when there was a scream from inside of the house. Jacie leaped off of the banister and flew through the sliding glass doors. She ran out into the hallway and only stopped when the railing that overlooked the entryway of the house stood in her way. Her bright blue hair flew around her like waves and jolted into her face from the abrupt stop. As her hair cleared out of her sight, Jacie saw Marcus' pokemon standing in front of a maid.

Marcus heard the scream and ran to find the source of the noise but he mostly knew what might of caused it. He went to where Jacie was and saw Darkrai and the maid. Darkrai was trying to quiet her a little nervously. Marcus jumped over the rails and landed beside them and put his hand over his mouth " Stop screaming..he's friendly but he hates screaming." he said and walked over to Darkrai and called him back into its Pokeball. He sighed " Oh man." he said and sighed as he might of been in trouble for that. He wondered what would have happened if she saw Kyogre.

"Y-You! You're a trainer!" the maid's eyes were as wide as softballs and her skin as pale white as her laced apron. She went to turn around and fetch help when she nearly ran into Jacie. "M'lady! He's a trainer!" she exclaimed, cowering away from Marcus.
"Indeed he is. I ask that you keep this quiet, Jenny. Or else you'll find yourself without a title and a job faster than you can blink." Jacie stood there looking down at Jenny with her arms crossed and her face stone cold.

Marcus followed her until he ran into Jacie as he tried to stop her. He listened to them..he was still confused at what was wrong with people and trainers. He looked at Jacie " There's no need for that Jacie." he said a little sternly and looked at the maid " Look please just don't tell anyone I beg of you." he said " I'm not a danger to you or anyone else here and I won't get you in trouble." he said. He then heard a knock at the door and went to answer it. Marshall stood at the door his jacket over his shoulder as he looked down at the card. It had been years since he had been back here but now he was back for maybe a month or so to see an old friend and partner.
