Emma looked at the time. "We've been here a while" she whispered.
(ok maybe it's more like it's been a while since the last post xD)
Rayne nodded. "Then let's start moving before the others get ahead" He said and paused before moving. "Since things seem to be getting chaotic already do you guys want to uhh....steal a car?" He asked, looking back at everyone with a grin. It wasn't something they would normally do and now would be the time to do it without consequence.

Ian and Leyton grinned at each other.
Tera gave Rayne a look with wide eyes. Kind of a confused look. "Why would we need to do that? We're going to the airport, but then we can rent a car. I have money."

Rayne shrugged. "It's far and it could give others like Isora some time to rest on the way there." He explained. "Plus...why waste money?" He gave her a sheepish grin.

"Probably for the reason I don't want the police chasing us down too, smart one," Tera said, grinning though. She didn't want to offend him, but she was speaking her mind.
The twins' expressions fell.
"Aw, don't worry abou them! They only go as far as the city limits!" Ian urged, winking and laughing.

Rayne smirked. "But as soon as they realize they're dealing with something way out of their league..." He said while starting a little breeze,"I'm sure they'll back down and let us on our way"
"Beeeside if you're so chicken then me, Isora, and the twins here can just meet ya at the airport" He said and winked at her.

The twins chuckled.
Tera mulled the idea around in her mind and sighed, knowing she wasn't going to win. "Fine, we can go with your idea."
"YESH!" Ian and Leyton exclaimed, slapping a high five between them, but then Leyton started coughing and Ian's face fell. Leyton's fit was over in a second.
"I'm fine."

Rayne looked at the twins, worried. "You sure? Come on let's get a car so you can get some rest k?" He said to Leyton, patting his shoulder. "Ian you think you could uhh try your little power out to steal a car?" Rayne asked, referring to their electrical power. They were the devious Gemini after all.

"I'm fine," Leyton insisted. Ian rolled his eyes.
"I'm on it," he said, winking and giving a two finger salute. They found a car rental place and once they were inside, Ian casually touched the lamp. There was a flicker of electricity, then the lights on the whole block went out. "Oops," he said, chuckling and stealing some keys, heading out to find the car.
Soon, he showed up in the minivan, motioning to everyone to file in quickly.

((I don't think we're the only survivors...I just think that the others were waiting for us to make a move and haven't checked the rp yet. wink ))

((Sorry. It finally occured to me to check this role play and so I did. :p )) Isora Iota
Aquarius Isora frowned at the argument. She agreed with Terra, stealing a car was suicidal and just plain stupid, although Rayne was right, they needed to get there before the evil children found them. When they got to the car, Isora's stomach ached nervously. Would they have trouble by the police? And who knew how to drive? She got into the van, although worry was obvious on her face.

Ian drove quickly, blacking out any areas with cops and turning off the car lights every time. They made it out of town easily.
Terra didn't like cars. She couldn't connect with the earth and see if they were being trailed...

Claire sat back, another complicated expression set in place, as if she was trying to figure something out. A green pulse covered her skin, prickling with every plant that was impacts upon within the area. "It's strange. There seems to be a series of blackouts in the area, or at least the rumbling I usually associate with cars is now gone save for one. The roots can reach the surface without getting run over." She said, twirling the ends of her hair as she attempted to dig even deeper into what her network could tell her. "I've got an idea of what they're after though. Considering our own individual...gifts, it shouldn't be too much effort to catch up." She stood up, ambition growing. "Neither of you have a fear of heights, do you?"
