Tam smiles. "Ah, dear one... one day you will ride the skies with your father... but not anytime soon. So please... no more playing with fire, okay... or you may get very very hurt. He kisses her again and tucks her in.

"You have a very important job right now. "Take care of your mother. She'll wake soon. The air here is free of smoke. I need to check on Kero and your daddy and retrieve some of our gear. Won't be long... see that clock? I'll be back before that long hand there moves more than three spaces. I promise you."

Tam pops into view at the camp and checks things out. Puss is missing again and so is Hopian. And he needs to find them. He looks for Kerobian first.

"Kero, where's Hope? And Puss?" calls Tam gathering up the tent and bedrolls.

Tam nods. "Let me take this back. I told Salunia I'd return right away. But if she's willing to let me be gone for a bit longer, I'll come help look for them. Here... let me help a bit before I go..." Tam wills a bit of snow onto the area, not much, just enough to dampen the ground and help put out the fire. Tam Looks at Kero and sighs. "Here, take this bedrol and go wrap up in it. Things are going to be a bit chilly here until I get back. Range yer thoughts fer Hope and I'll help ye go find him... okay." He pops back to the cottage and drops his smokey gear in the kitchen before going to check on Salunia and her mother.

"Princess, everything okay here?" he asks walking into the room.

Tam shakes his head. "No dearling, you are not. Accidents happen... even I have had a few... and yer momma and daddy, too. Look at my wing... that was an accident, we were only being silly and not watching what we were doing. Listen. Kero is tired and I need to help him find Puss. Will you be okay here with your mommy? I promise to keep an ear open to here.. so iffin ye need help just call fer me really loud and I'll come popping back, okay?"

Tam nods and let's him sleep, going in the direction of the arrows he begins to search carefully, calling Hopian's name, both out loud and with his mind. He also calls for Puss, keeping a sharp eye out for anything large and white or small and gray.

Tam cools his burns and gathers him up in his arms, carrying him back to where Kero is. Tucking him in with Kero, he tells him he'll be right back. He still needs to find the cat.

He stands up and looks about the clearing. "Damn you, cat.... Where the heck are you... You can't be dead... Don't you dare be dead..." he growls out loud, calling the cat's name repeatedly.

Nothing... not a peep, not a single mew... In the end they are forced to give the hunt up and take Hopian back so he can get his burns treated.
