"Kaze? You around?" Vaati murmured, still half asleep.
Alyssa picked up her picking pace, but at the same time, she made sure all the strawberries were plump and red.

Kaze was sitting beside Sheikah. "Yeah, I'm here. What do you need?" He asked and got up to walk over to Vaati.
Zathier brought one more bundle to the backpack, filling it up, almost to the top.

"Is there something to get rid of the pain?" Vaati asked, turning his read to look at Kaze with sleepy eyes. He would still be asleep if it wasn't for the pain in his chest.
Alyssa picked a few more and buttoned the bag to close it. "That should be enough." She murmured and stood up. "They're kind of heavy!"

"No pain, no gain. If you think a few broken bones is painful, just wait until I get you in a training session." Kaze explained and grinned down at Vaati.
(Couldn't resist the pun...)
Zathier walked over to Alyssa and picked the bag up with ease. "Hm... They don't seem to be heavy." He said and carried the bag with him to the inn.

Vaati hissed and slapped Kaze, his hand landing weakly on Kaze's cheek. "I can hardly breath... at least with training, I can catch my breath, but I'm relaxing as much as I can and I still can't breath well." His hand fell to the floor, but he didn't bother to anything with it again.
"Well they're heavy to me. I'm not used to carry much." Alyssa shrugged and opened the door to let herself inside the inn.

"Hey you two, just in time. We just put the cake in the oven... and made the whipped cream. If you can wash a few of those strawberries, I'll cut them up." Josline explained.
"What can I do Josline?" Opal asked as Josline bent down near her.
"I'd like you to give Vaati something... tell him these herbs will help with the pain. He has to eat them. They'll be bitter, but they'll numb the pain." Josline explained handing him some strange herbs to her.
"Oh... okay..." Opal said as she headed towards her room.

"Catch your breath eh? So he thinks..." Kaze thought and grinned wickedly at Vaati. "Just get healed up... Oh, by the way, Sheikah, would you mind helping in his training when it starts?" He asked, turning towards Sheikah.
"That won't be a problem..." Sheikah muttered and stared at the weak Vaati. "But, will he be able to survive the training is the question." He thought to himself.
Zathier walked into the kitchen and placed the bag on the table. "We're done!" He said excitedly. Zathier then opened the bag, revealing all of the strawberries they picked. "We picked enough to make several cakes, so we can redo it if we mess up a few times." He explained.

"Why do I need two people to train me?" Vaati hissed again. "It won't be a while until I heal, not with all the broken bones. I'll need a week to reteach myself how to walk after I recover anyway." He moved his hand around on the floor. It seemed cold and welcoming. "Why do I have to be on the bed? The floor seems nice..."
"And we'll have some to snack on for later." Alyssa added as she opened her bag carefully. "Do we have a bowl to wash them in?"

Josline searched the cupboards and pulled out a bowl. "There's a well where you can get some water." She said looking over at Zathier and Alyssa.
"Vaati?" Opal said as she entered the room, holding the herbs gently in her hand.

"Only four days? You would beat me senseless and I'll need another weak to recover." he murmured and caught site of Opal and quickly lifted his hand off the floor in a quick movement. "Opal? What are you doing?"
"Alright!" Alyssa said and rushed off to get some water.

Vaati took the herb and bit off a part of it. His face turned green. "Of course, all the bad tasting are the ones you have to eat plain." He hissed angrily as he forced himself to eat the rest of the bitter herb. It was the kind of taste the upset his stomach. Now he was craving grass; cats ate grass if they have an upset stomach.
