A frown creased the woman's black-painted lips, but she turned away. "Good enough. Follow me, slave. You won't be seeing the sun for a very long time, so savour it." she advised as she walked off.The slave took a deep breath, then followed after his Mistress without another word to avoid further punishment. The two of them eventually vanished past the trees, and all that remained were the clothes Talbot was forced to leave behind.

Arron tried to call out to Talbot, but could not due to the pain in his torso. With the lack of energy his vision went dark. The Lythcol mechanic had passed out.

An hour passed in silence before Atticus emerged and hobbled over to Arron. He'd had his energy drained significantly to keep him out of the way, and the effects of it were still strong. The lion nudged Arron gently with his nose, hoping to wake the young man up.

The nudging worked & Arron opened his eyes. "...At-Atticus..." he mumbled before sitting up, "Are y-you okay..?" He slowly stood up. "We-We need to get T-Talbot back..." he mumbled.

The lion grunted in response to both of Arron's questions, then went lower to the ground to offer the mechanic a ride on him. He didn't entirely understand what had happened, but he knew that Talbot was in danger, and that was all he needed to know.

He hesitated before climbing on. Arron hoped that his weight would not be too much trouble for the lion. He was a large framed young man. "Let-Let's go." he said grasping at Atticus's mane.

Once Arron was on, Atticus stood with ease and began to follow the scent trail of Talbot. He was fast, but the ride was a little bumpy, just like Talbot had described to Arron before. They were covering a lot of ground in a very short time.

Arron hung on, & hoped that Talbot would be unharmed. He thought to himself that it would be best if they continued fleeing the mistress.

Durem came into sight as Atticus ran toward it. He stopped at the gate to the city and let out a low growl. All of the smells of the city covered the scent incredibly well, and he looked left and right to try and decide which way he would go. He'd come upon Talbot in the city with Arron before by accident. It was unlikely he'd come upon him again the same way, if he was even in Durem at that time.

"I-I don't think he'll be here..." he said, "Her man-mansion is in-in a-a forest." Arron had pulled down his goggles over his eyes to see if he could find Talbot better. He knew that they had some time, so they were most likely back at the mansion.

Atticus grunted, not knowing what forest Arron was referring to. He crouched low to the ground for a minute, then took off once more toward the only major forest he could think of that would be the right distance away, luckily going in the right direction.

Arron hung onto the lion's mane. He kept scanning with his goggles for some kind of sign. He hoped that Talbot would be alright.

Once the mansion was in sight, there was a very clear heat signature that belonged to one person standing in the main entrance. There was also one in the kitchen, sitting at the table in the dining room and drinking what looked like a cup of tea. Atticus stopped once he was close enough to the mansion, and caught Talbot's scent again, leading inside. He approached the door cautiously.

Arron gently slid off the beast, grasping the door handle & turn the knob. He hoped that the door had not been locked. There was no way getting around the fact that the mistress could be the person behind the door. He slid his goggles off his face & onto his head.

The door opened with ease, and without a sound. In the centre of the main entrance way was a large golden cage, ornate and resembling a human-sized bird cage. Inside of the cage stood Talbot, wearing an embarrassingly scanty black leather outfit; if one could even call such an assortment of straps and spikes an outfit, complete with a muzzle that covered his mouth. The poor slave's eyes widened when he saw Arron, and he shook his head quickly as if trying to warn him.Atticus stayed just outside of the door, ready to run or fight if he needed to.
