But personally I think you'd be better off going to the hospital. It seems as though you've developed a case of amnesia." Gardevior nodded in agreement. Jacie looked at Marcus worriedly again. Did he really work there? She'd never seen him around before... Then again, not a lot of the Miller Estate servants went to town unless they were one of the older women.

Marcus shook his head " There will be no need for that Ms.Legend..I rather dislike hospitals." he said. He thought for a moment and then something came to memory and he remembered a little about his mission. He looked at her and sighed a bit " I uh..would like to go to the Miller Estate maybe that will jog my memory." he said. He wondered if that was here he was supposed to go he would and maybe if he followed the plan and found a way to eliminate the danger he could save Jacie this time.

Gardevior quickly became tired of the silence and flew back into her pokeball with a flash of red. Jacie looked down at the pokeball as it sealed her favorite pokemon away. "So, Marcus. Tell me a little about yourself." Jacie said as she fiddled with a few of the flowers in her braid. She had hoped that switching the conversation topic to him might help his memory some. But then again she didn't really know anything about the human brain.

Marcus pulled out a Pokeball and called Froslass into it before he put it back on his side and followed after her. He heard her question and thought " Er..I can't" he said and tried to think. He sighed " I think I might of been a trainer at some point..but I never finished getting all of the badges in Jhoto." he said " I think...I know it was somewhere." he said " Maybe...maybe I did actually work at the estate or something." he said " Hopefully my memory will return at some point." he said.

A few more long moments of silence passed and Jacie stopped about ten meters away from a ten foot white stone wall. "Just on the other side of this wall" Jacie pointed to the nearest wall. "is the main entrance. And the back entrance is right over there." Jacie shifted her view and then pointed to an opening in the wall. A loud creak was heard and a gate was able to be seen swinging open as a maid appeared from inside. From the looks of it, the maid seemed to be carrying a bowl full of old, rotten fruit. Just before she rounded the corner towards them, the maid looked up. Her eyes grew wide at the sight of Jacie. "Lady Jacie?! What are you doing out here?! The mistress will be very upset with you if she hears that you snuck out again." The maid came rushing over and grabbed a hold of Jacie's wrist and shoved her towards the gate. The maid then stopped and turned around to face Marcus. "And just what do you think you're doing with the mistress' daughter?!" The maid came up to Marcus and started wagging her right index finger at him. "You're supposed to be inside the house! Oh just wait until Jenny hears of your doing... She'll punish you for sure." the maid mumbled as she shoved Marcus into the gate, revealing the back of the estate.

Marcus looked confused " Wait but I-." but he didn't have a moment to speak and she continued on and shoved him through the gate. He stood and looked around but he was still lost but something about this place was familiar. He thought about the name Miller but shook his head having no clue. There was no way there was any relation between the two. He stood frozen having no clue what he was supposed to do now. He started to walk forward looking for a door.

"Looking for something?" a woman with long black hair appeared as if from nowhere behind Marcus with her arms crossed and a scowl stretched across her face. "Or are you the new kid?" the question sounded more like a statement than a question. But a question all the same.

Marcus rubbed the back of his head " I guess I'm the new kid." he said. He looked over the woman and saw the scowl but simply raised a brow as he stared with icy blue eyes at the woman. She looked oddly familiar too. He stared for a moment wondering who she was and what her problem was.

The two L's in my first name make a Y sound for a reason. Don't ever call me Lila or ever by my first name unless it's an emergency. You will call me 'Mistress Miller', 'Mistress', 'Lady', or 'Miss'. Butlers like yourself will stay in the house at all times unless helping someone out of a car. You will have Sundays, Saturdays, and Wednesdays off. During those days I could care less what you do." Lylla suddenly whipped around in front of a door. "Your bedroom is here." she said motioning to a door and then continued to walk down one of the many halls. "Do not enter that bedroom unless you have her permission." She pointed to a set of double white oak doors to her left and then pointed to the last door in the hall. "And the bathroom is there. Any questions?"

Marcus payed attention and took in every detail. He would do as he was supposed to..except stay in the house all hours of the day. Marcus couldn't stay in any place for too long if it was indoors. He actually preferred to be outside and actually needed to be outside otherwise his behavior became a bit..jumpy. He looked at her " Well no..not really..but uhm...what am I supposed to do all day?" he asked " Is there a schedule, a set list of chores, do we come to you or Miss Legend for our task?' he asked..

Jacie poked her head out of the door almost instantly. "Yes?"
Lylla turned back to Marcus with a slight smile. "Your new butler. I'll leave you two to get acquainted." With that, Lylla strode down the hall back the way they came and vanished down the marble staircase.

Marcus watched Lylla leave and let out a silent sigh. The was probably going to make his job a lot harder. He looked at Jacie and sighed. This worked out perfectly for him actually but he wished he could be something else not just a butler. He bowed a bit " I suppose I shall be your new butler now Miss Legend..I thank you for guiding me here." he said.

Marcus chuckled she was wrong there. He was never a freeman as he was still one of the few cursed one. He followed her " Besides...I won't be stuck here forever..at least not in this house." he said. If everything went right he'd have no reason to stay here anyway as Jacie would be alive. He sighed " Your mother seems like a happy woman." he said with an undetectable amount of sarcasm. He shrugged " Still, I can't remember much..I don't even remember when I applied.' he said.

Jacie said shaking her head as she slid open a glass door that sat adjacent to the bathroom door. "My parents were murdered when I was little. Lylla was stated as my Godmother in my mom's will." Jacie shrugged as she walked out to the balcony. "I've been living here for ten years now."
