A headache and an old man welcomed Denji when he blinked moments later. The man droned on, and Denji only managed to get the gist of his conversation before he felt suddenly, just a little stronger. Denji looked down at himself. His hair was longer now, go downing a little past his shoulders. He was also a lot taller and much more built, enough to make him look attractive, even to human eyes. He was wearing a grey tunic now with thin, white pants and brown boots. He even had gloves now, and his ears were pierced in several different areas. He felt the little blue ring in his ear.
It was seven years later, but it only felt like a few seconds later. He opened the door and exited the temple.

Askari's ears twitched when she heard the temple door open. She stood up and drew her sword, thinking that one of Ganondorf's minions had come. But it wasn't one of Ganondorf's at all. It was a grey-haired boy - no, young man. He was powerfully built and resembled her old friend, her love. Her eyes grew wide as a tear rolled down her cheek. It couldn't be...Was it even possible? "D..Denji?" she asked. She walked forward to where she was nearly right in front of him when she reached her hand up to his cheek. "I-it really is you.." she said finally. The blonde wrapped her arms around the young man's waist and leaned her head against his chest, "I can't believe it's been seven years.." she murmured, "I can't believe it's been seven years..since I last saw you." she finished.

"Askari..." Denji managed to whisper. It didn't feel like seven years. For him, it had felt mere seconds. But consider how he changed, and how Askari changed, he couldn't deny it. He ran a hand through her now short hair; he liked it when it was long. Then he noticed the dark sky, the dreadful atmosphere in the air. The smell was even different, but he couldn't put a finger on it. "Askari, what happened to this place?"

Askari sighed, "A lot," she muttered, then told him about the evil that had taken over Hyrule, how houses were burnt down and many people became minions for Ganondorf and everything in between.

"What...?" I can't believe all that happened while I was gone... it seriously on felt like a few seconds. I picked up the sword and suddenly I was huge!" Denji looked confused. "Let's go; I don't think I can stand to be here anymore." He muttered sadly.

Askari nodded and let go of him, grabbing her sword in her right hand. "Be careful, there's creatures all over.." she mumbled.

Denji grabbed for the Master Sword with his left and drew it out. "Have you seen me? I think I can take care of myself. I was told I had to release the five sages, so I'm assuming we should start in the forest. Where did you get all the gear, by the way?" He asked with a grin.

Askari smiled in response, "Impa gave the Sheikah battle gear to me," she explained, "But my sword's still the same."

"She's still kicking? That's good to hear. I should visit when I find the Forest Sage." Denji picked up Askari liked he used to do when he was seven years younger. It was actually easier to carry her now, being more built now than he was a long time ago.

"I know, it' s hard for me to say the same though... it felt like I was only gone for a few minutes, but for you, it was seven yeas. Do you get what I'm trying to say?" Denji asked as eh quickly ran out of the remains of the market.

"I'm not sure if I want them!" Denji murmured. "So... how was your life when i was gone?What did you do?" He asked. Denji was honestly curious, considering how nothing happened to him in the least.

Askari shrugged, "Well, to make it short and sweet: I helped to defend the castle during the downfall of it and waited for you in the meantime." she said in a matter-of-fact tone.
