Tam lets it go on for several minutes, the situation growing morend more humorous by the moment. Finally he gives her a hug and put a stop to it. He looks at the flattened salamander and sighs.
"Serve us, will you... then tend this fire for now and warm her bed later. AS for what else you might be asked to do, deal with them. It is their special day you have destroyed, not mine." he gets up and puts the cub down by her father and walks into the kitchen, shaking his head.
Looking up he see Kero and thyrion talking and smiles to himself. "Is dinner completely ruined or can we salvaged it, dulcha?" he asks quietly.

I can salvage it...Thyrion can reverse the burning on the rabbit, and then I can saute it to hide any flavor of burnt. I should be able to pull this off...

Tam nods with a grim smile. "Tell me what to do... I'll help. Fortuny needs to eat regularly or her stomach gets funny and both Hope and Salunia were really hungry oon the walk back. I'm sure they're starving by now, but are too upset to realize it just yet."

Slice those peppers into strips and hgeat some oil up in a pan...peppers first.

Tam does as instructed, slicing the peppers into strips then heating the oil in the pan. "Do you want these sauteed, Taro?" he asks when it's hot.

*Kero, having finished with reversing the majority of the burning, brings over the rabbit, gently laying it in the pan and taking over, having Tam periodically coat the coney in oil to keep it from burning again*

I feel he should be punished...but I also remembered my own days of pulling pranks...can't really justify being so mad at him when I was just as bad, if not worse, before I warped.
