"As long as ye aim fer the pool and not the rocks... I'd say go fer it..." laughs Tam with a grin. "Seriously, Kero... I'm a guardian... but, I"m kind of grounded right now, so don't push yer luck, okay?"

Tam sighs and looks away. "My Ma and Dad have been working on that for some time... they think they might be able to do something about it, but.... no, Kero, you cannot... too old I guess. Even going through this doesn't seem to do anything about it... sorry..." He looks back at the young lion and reaches to give him a hug, almost tumbling from the log. Laughing nervously he scoots closer and succeeds. "But remember this... one can always open one's heart to a child. I did... and look what I gained... the love of someone so special I cannot even begin to describe how good it makes me feel inside."

"By loving yer wife with all yer heart... which ye do, by the way, so there's no problems there, kiddo." Tam sighs and shakes his head. "Not everyone can have children, Kero. There are lots of reasons it happens. Some physical, some otherwise... what matters is that you be honest with your partner... and trust me, dear one, she knows... she knows and married ye anyway... so don't worry yer little head about it. Children are a blessing, but not all marriages are cut out to be families. Just as not all people are cut out to be married... look at me."

Tam chuckles softly and eases his way back to dry land with Kero's help. "Thanks, dulcha... if I had fallen in and got that cast wet, Shar would have wrung me neck. So, ye have any more question, Taro? Or do ye think maybe we should be getting back to camp. We need to break it up and head back home fairly soon. Ye've already missed two days at the temple. I did kind of leave the message to Mica open ended, but somehow... meeting that snake this morning has taken all the fun out of this little excursion."

** hides them behinds her and shuffles her feet... dang, ye take the fun out of everything...**

Tam does his best to answer Kero's questions then just as they enter the clearing he holds up his hands in surrender. "Cease... please, Taro... not even I know the answer to some of the things you are asking... though I know for a fact you, yourself have discovered quite a few... As for the moral questions, I suggest this guideline. Do to others as you would want them to do to you... It is the guide I follow. The one which He gave. And remember, no matter what you do, there is One who will judge you... be you great or small, high born or low... it doesn't matter... all your achievements will be for maught... for when you stand there at that final judgment you will be standing alone and you will be viewed in the light of the good you have done vs. the bad. If you have lived your life by His standards, then you will have no difficulty passing His test."

Then he turns to him with a sad smile. "I'm afraid this is something you, the elder, and I disagree on... that you, yourself, will receive that final judgment. But trust me, dulcha... my journey through this existence has been carefully guided, though I rarely see the hand that moves me. And I have been sent to no one for whom there is no hope. Trust in this knowledge and know, you are loved... not only by me... but by another far higher power."

"Poor cat..." whispers Tam to Kero as they tip toe pass her.

Tam chuckles softly. "Puss... who else... he's being squeezed half to death. Though I feel sorry for Salunia, too."

Tam looks startled. "That doesn't sound like Salunia. Did you tell her why she shouldn't jump on mommy's tummy?"
