I'm sure they appreciate it, but maybe they don't want to post because that sets off the whole get-a-zillion-presents-and-feel-obligated-to-send-a-zillion-presents vicious cycle.

That makes sense. The first time I entered this thread I immediatly recieved 548472359843573249572349583472509348573498573458 presents! And that made me feel guilty. :[
