With a cry of rage, he joins the cat fighting the snake, distracting it so the cat can kill it without getting hurt.

*Finally, Kero manages to sting the snake...which shudders and dies within ten seconds...Mortitoxin is powerful stuff...and he moves over to the body, crooning*

Tam keeps an eye on Kero while he examines the snake. Nothing that size could have lived in the area without their knowing it, of this he is sure. Where in Hades did it come from.

*It appears to have been brought in...probably a pet of some rich person...and it was released when it got too big....Kero puts a paw on the fish, crying...then puts both paws on...and begins to glow gold*

*Kero can't seem to do anything...until he starts to sing as well...of life...of love...not in any tongue Tam has ever heard....nor any Kero should rightly be able to speak...he is glowing with all four colors now....and the eldritch glow of Void as well....he seems to simply be calling the fish....singing him back....though Granddad was flopping earlier, he had stilled...*

Tam joins him singing, but he merely supports Kero's song, knowing this is Kero's journey, pouring his love and strength into Kero's purpose.

Now Tam does invoke a bit more of his power, sending a call to the all father, through Kerobian's efforts, allowing the act of healing to come from the almost grown cub and not from him. And waits, knowing that if he did anything more, Kero would never truly understand the power he is presently holding in his hands.

The old fish looks at Kero and winks at Tam. "What took ye so long?" he quips kindly. "I was beginning to think ye'd never get it right."
"Granddad.." warns Tam sternly.
The old fish laughs and swims around in a circle. "I can't remember ever being so scared in me life... did ye get it?"

Tam stops him. "No, Kero... yer not ready for that yet. Let's just roll it into the river... it will feed Grandpa and his kin all winter iffin we put it in the right place... Need to lodge it near a fast moving area so it doesn't foul the water around it."
