Tam stands up and urges her to go over to the fire. "She's fine princess. Trust me she's fine." He looks at Hope and frowns. "You guys haven't told her yet, have you?" he sends worriedly.

Tam nods. "Better do it soon or she's going to think ye don't trust her and are with holding secrets...." He helps Salunia fill her plate and carries it to a spot near his log, then goes back for some for himself. "Be careful," he calls back across his shoulder... "It's hot..."

Tam nods and helps himself to some breakfast. "Hey... Fortuny.. " he calls to the lioness as she creaks from the underbrush. "Dry toast and tea... or fired fish? Which will it be?"

Tam makes the toast anyway and carries it over to her with a bowl of hot steaming ginger tea. "Ma would say the same thing but Pops always told her that it hurts worse when there's nothing in there. Ginger settles a queasy stomach... and the toast will quell the acid... try it."

Tam leaves the teapot with them and urges the cub to take Puss out for a stroll. "He's a very good pouncer, ye know... maybe he can teach ye some tricks."

*She does take Puss out for a stroll, while Kero helps clean up after breakfast....then go down to the stream for a drink...and the sounds of battle soon come drifting back that way...Kero's growls do not sound nice at all...*

Tam takes off running for the water, a flaming sword materializing in his hand as he moves, his face a mask of determination. Heaven help anyone who would endanger Kero or the cub and cat.
